  • An ID certificate is digitally signed by a certificate authority for authentication and an attribute certificate is digitally signed by an attribute certificate authority for authorization. In many applications in web, there should be a mechanism to bind attributes to proper identities. The dependencies between them should be maintained. So we analyzed some known binding methods, selective revocation methods and cryptographic binding methods. And we proposed a binding mechanism using one-time attribute certificates in order to solve their problems.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the structural relationship between resort selection attributes, emotional responses, and empirical values of scuba diving participants. The general population who enjoys scuba diving in Korea was selected as the population. Using the convenience sampling method, 553 of the 600 questionnaire samples were extracted as the final valid sample. For data processing, frequency analysis, exploratory factor analysis, and Cronbach's α test were performed using SPSS 23, and confirmatory factor analysis and structural equation model analysis were performed with AMOS 18. The results are as follows: First, among the sub-factors of selection attributes, equipment, facility environment, and diving point showed a positive effect on emotional response, but staff service did not have any significant effect. Second, the emotional response positively affected by the selection attribute showed a positive effect on all factors of service excellence, consumer utility, fun value, and aesthetic value of empirical value. Therefore, scuba diving resort managers must recognize the importance of equipment, facility environment, and diving point among these selection attributes of customers. And to satisfy the customer needs the resort must accurately identify the needs for diving equipment, facility environment and diving point. Various methods for this should be explored through the needs of the identified customers, and efforts should be made to provide safe equipment, comfortable facilities, and various diving points.

  • With the development of wireless access technologies and the popularity of mobile intelligent terminals, cloud computing is expected to expand to mobile environments. Attribute-based encryption, widely applied in cloud computing, incurs massive computational cost during the encryption and decryption phases. The computational cost grows with the complexity of the access policy. This disadvantage becomes more serious for mobile devices because they have limited resources. To address this problem, we present an efficient verifiable outsourced scheme based on the bilinear group of prime order. The scheme is called the verifiable outsourced computation ciphertext-policy attribute-based encryption scheme (VOC-CP-ABE), and it provides a way to outsource intensive computing tasks during encryption and decryption phases to CSP without revealing the private information and leaves only marginal computation to the user. At the same time, the outsourced computation can be verified by two hash functions. Then, the formal security proofs of its (selective) CPA security and verifiability are provided. Finally, we discuss the performance of the proposed scheme with comparisons to several related works.

  • In recent years, facial attribute editing has been successfully used to effectively change face images of various attributes based on generative adversarial networks and encoder-decoder models. However, existing models have a limitation in that they may change an unintended part in the process of changing an attribute or may generate an unnatural result. In this paper, we propose a model that improves the learning of the attention mask by adding a spatial attention mechanism based on the unified selective transfer network (referred to as STGAN) using semi-supervised learning. The proposed model can edit multiple attributes while preserving details independent of the attributes being edited. This study makes two main contributions to the literature. First, we propose an encoder-decoder model structure that learns and edits multiple facial attributes and suppresses distortion using an attention mask. Second, we define guide masks and propose a method and an objective function that use the guide masks for multiple facial attribute editing through semi-supervised learning. Through qualitative and quantitative evaluations of the experimental results, the proposed method was proven to yield improved results that preserve the image details by suppressing unintended changes than existing methods.

  • In this paper, we propose an efficient and effective selective protection scheme to SVC that exploit the propagation of protection effect by protecting significant frames that can give the maximum visual quality degradation. We model SVC dependency coding structure as a directed acyclic graph which is characterized with an estimated visual quality value as the attribute at each node. The estimated visual quality is calculated by using our model based on the proportions of intra- and inter-predicted MBs, amounts of residual, and estimated visual quality of reference frames. The proposed selective protection scheme traverses the graph to find optimal protection paths that can give maximum visual quality degradation. Experimental results show that the proposed selective protection scheme reduces the required number of frames to be protected by 46.02% compared to the whole protection scheme and 27.56% compared to the layered protection scheme.

  • This study analyzed the Importance-Performance Analysis of selective attributes of Ethnic Food Restaurant. A total of 369 questionnaires were analyzed. Five factors were obtained from factor analysis of Importance variance of selective attributes of Ethnic food restaurant: Factor 1 "Quality", Factor 2 "Service", Factor 3 "Physical environment", Factor 4 "Uniqueness", Factor 5 "Health". Also, "Quality", "Physical environment", "Uniqueness" factors influenced overall satisfaction. In addition, according to the IPA results, selective attributes with low satisfaction and high importance in the second quadrant were 'Sanitation that comfort hospitality', 'Level of service' and 'Price'. These results suggest that when customers select Ethnic food restaurant, they consider 'food price' and 'food quality'. Therefore, manager of ethnic food restaurant should take these improvement factors into consideration in order to meet consumer's expectations.

  • The purpose of this research was to derive political suggestion to increase the demand for forest visit by analyzing the demand of forest visitors, focusing on the residents of Seoul and capital areas. The determinants of demand, which is the number of forest visit in a year, were analyzed by independent variables; six factors from factor analysis on selective attributes, demographic characteristics, and other variables related with the general matters when visiting a forest. As a result, among the independent variables, selective attribute (tourism resource factor), gender (male), and residency (Seoul) were found out to have positive(+) effect on demand for forest visit. However, other selective attribute (external factor of forestry), occupation (white-collar employee), and level of education (over college graduate) were found out to have negative(-) effect on demand for forest visit. Based on these results, implications for the expansion of demand for forest visits were derived.

  • Kaplan(2000) reported that instances were categorized more accurate in the aligned condition than in the non-aligned condition irrespective of similarity between instances[16]. This study investigated wether Kaplan(2000)\\`s results could be explained by stimulus types she used and alignment effects in categorization were due to selective attention to aligned attributes. In Experiment 1. I examined whether attribute alignment produced significant effects on similarity and categorization and aligned attributes were recalled more than non-aligned ones. Results showed that instances were rated more similar and categories were learned more rapidly in the aligned condition than in the non-aligned condition. It can be explained that categories are learned rapidly in the aligned condition because attribute alignment increases within-category similarity. But. the result that aligned attributes were recalled more than non-aliened ones in the attribute recall test implies that alignment effects in categorization can be independent of similarity between instances partially. In Experiment 2. I used equal numbed of attributes defining two categories and instructed subjects to pay their attention to categorization-relevant dimensions only. Results showed that dimension instruction facilitated category learning in the non-aligned condition only but categories were learned more rapidly in the aligned condition than in the non-aliened condition irrespective of instruction types. In conclusion. attribute alignment in categorization may facilitate paying selective attention to categorization-relevant attributes.
