땅콩 종실의 크기와 자엽절단정도가 발아 및 수량에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Seed Size and Cotyledon Removal on Germination and Yields in Peanuts)

  • 땅콩품종에 대한 입중의 변이를 조사하였으며, 동일품종에서의 종자크기에 따른 발아력, 생육 및 수량을 비교하는 한편 자엽을 인위적으로 절단, 조절했을 때의 생육과 수량에 대한 반응을 검토하였다. 1. 입중의 변이는 소립품종보다 대립종에서 크게 나타났으며, 2. Cold test에 의한 발아시험결과 종자가 작을수록 발아율이 낮았으며 포장출아율도 떨어졌다. 3. 종자크기에 따른 후기생육의 차이는 없었으나 소립품종의 경우는 종자가 큰 것을 파종했을 때 수량이 많았다. 4. 자엽의 일부를 절단하였을 때는 개화성기의 생육이 정상종자보다 저조했으나 협비대기이후에는 차이가 없었다. 5. 소립품종에서는 자엽절단이 수량을 감소시키나대립종에서는 정상립과 차이가 없었다.

Struvite 결정화에 미치는 영향; Seed 물질, Seed 입자크기, $G{\cdot}t_d$ Value의 영향 (Effect of Struvite Crystallization Kinetics; Seed Material, Seed Particle Size, $G{\cdot}t_d$ Value)

  • 본 연구에서는 seed 물질을 첨가함으로써 struvite 결정핵의 생성 및 성장단계를 단축시키고자 하였다. 본 연구에서는 seed 물질의 성상(모래, 안트라사이트, struvite)별, 입자의 크기(44$\sim$63 $\mu$m, 63$\sim$88 $\mu$m, 88$\sim$114 $\mu$m)별, 교반조건($G{\cdot}t_d$)에 따라 결정핵의 생성속도론에 미치는 영향을 관찰하였다. 모래와 안트라사이트는 seeding 하지 않은 경우에 비하여 암모니아성 질소제거효율이 각각 9%, 11%로 향상되었으며, struvite로 seed한 경우는 암모니아성 질소제거효율은 20% 이상 향상되었다. Seeding에 따른 struvite 결정화 효율은 seed 입자의 비표면적과 밀접한 상관관계가 있다. Seed 물질입자의 비표면적이 클수록 struvite 핵생성 및 성장을 향상시켰다. 또한 struvite 결정화 반응시 동질의 seed 물질(struvite seeds)을 사용하여 2차 핵생성을 유도하면 struivte 결정의 핵생성 및 성장을 위한 $G{\cdot}t_d$값을 단축시킬 수 있는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구에서 고려한 입자크기에 대해서는 seed 입자크기에 대한 영향은 확인되지 않았다. Struvite 결정핵 생성속도론에서 $G{\cdot}t_d$값은 매우 중요한 인자로써 작용하였다.

고로쇠나무(Acer mono Max.) 씨앗 기름과 목련나무(Magnolia denudata) 씨앗 기름의 섭취가 마우스의 혈중 지질 수준에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Goroshoe (Acer mono Max.) Seed Oil, and Magnolia denudata Seed Oil on the Lipid Profile in Serum in Mice)

  • In this study, the effects of intake of Acer mono Max. seed oil, and Magnolia denudata seed oil on the lipid levels of mouse blood were compared to those of commercially available vegetable oils. Five ICR mice were each fed a corn oil, Acer mono Max. seed oil, and Magnolia denudata seed oil supplemented diet for a total of 8 weeks. The serum profiles of mice fed Acer mono Max. seed oil and Magnolia denudata seed oil were high in palmitic acid, oleic acid, and linoleic acid. The saturated fatty acid contents of mice fed Acer mono Max. seed oil and Magnolia denudata seed oil were 3.95% and 0.88%, whereas the unsaturated fatty acid contents were 8.71% and 4.60%, respectively. The liver and spleen weights of mice fed Acer mono Max. seed oil were higher than those fed corn oil (p<0.05). Total cholesterol level was highest in mice fed Acer mono Max. seed oil (p<0.05), whereas there were no significant changes in the cholesterol levels of mice fed Magnolia denudata seed oil and corn oil. The HDL-cholesterol levels in mice fed Acer mono Max. seed oil ($175.80{\pm}27.66mg/d{\ell}$) and in those fed Magnolia denudata seed oil ($145.20{\pm}19.10mg/d{\ell}$) were higher compared to those of mice fed corn oil (p<0.05). In conclusion, there were no significant differences in fatty acid composition between mice fed Acer mono Max. seed oil and Magnolia denudata seed oil. Future study on the antioxidant effects of seed oils should be carried out.

Maturity Grouping of Korean Soybean Cultivars and Character Relationships According to the Planting Date

  • This study was carried out to classify Korean soybean varieties base on maturity group (MG) and to find character relationships according to planting date for high quality soybean seed production adapted to early season cultivation environment of Miryang. Results of maturity grouping of Korean soybean varieties showed that Keunol (3 cultivars), belonged to Group 0; Seonnok and Danmi in Group II, Shinrok in Group III, Seonyu (17 cultivars), in Group IV, Taekwang (44 cultivars) in Group V, Daewon (25 cultivars) in Group VI, and Kwangdu and Keumdu in Group VII. Agronomic characteristics of 100 soybean varieties were compared based on MG, cultivation year and seeding date. Soybean varieties belonging to the MG $VI{\sim}VII$ showed longer days to flowering and growth period, high lodging density and higher yield. Seed quality analysis revealed that as maturity was delayed, seed weight becomes heavier while seed cracks become abundant. In addition, occurrence of purple seed and phomopsis were higher in MG $0{\sim}III$. Protein content was higher in MG $0{\sim}III$, and isoflavone content was higher as maturity was delayed. On the other hand, lipid content was generally similar across MGs. Correlation analysis of major agronomic characters showed positive relationships between days to flowering and growth days, seed weight and lodging in MG $IV{\sim}V$, seed crack and growth days in MG $0{\sim}III$, seed crack and days to flowering in MG $IV{\sim}V$ and MG $VI{\sim}VII$, seed crack and lodging in MG $IV{\sim}V$ and MG $VI{\sim}VII$, seed crack and seed weight in MG $IV{\sim}V$ and MG $VI{\sim}VII$, purple seed and growth days in MG $IV{\sim}V$, purple seed and seed weight in MG $VI{\sim}VII$, phomopsis and growth days in MG $IV{\sim}V$ and MG $VI{\sim}VII$, and phomopsis and purple seed in MG $IV{\sim}V$ and MG $VI{\sim}VII$. In contrast, a negative relationship was observed between seed weight and lodging in MG $0{\sim}III$. Correlating yield and major characters revealed negative relationships between days to flowering and growth days in MG $0{\sim}III$ and MG $IV{\sim}V$, whereas positive relationships were obtained on MG $VI{\sim}VII$ seeded on April 30. Lodging, seed weight and seed crack were all negatively correlated with yield in the MG $IV{\sim}V$ and MG $VI{\sim}VII$. Soybean cultivars identified as adaptable to early season planting for production of high quality soy curd and fermented soybean paste were Seonyu, Kwangdu, and Soho while those suited for the manufacture of soybean sprouts were Sobaeknanul, Kwangan, Sowon, and Bosuk. Geomjeong 2 chosen as best for mixing with rice.

국내 참깨 품종의 리그난 함량 및 지방산 조성 (Varietal Difference of Lignan Contents and Fatty Acids Composition in Korean Sesame Cultivars)

  • Although lignans of sesame seed, sesamolin and sesamin have been known as possessing an antioxidant activity, it is less known about their contents of the sesame cultivated in Korea. Collections of sesame cultivated in Korea were used for studies on their lignans content of the seed and fatty acids composition of the oil. The sesamin content of sesame seed with white-coat were 370.29 mg/100g seed, while that of sesame seed with black-coat were 246.58mg/100g seed. Also, the sesamolin contents of sesame seed were 202.22 mg/100g seed in white-coat cultivars and 132.68 mg/100g seed in black-coat sesames. Hence, the lignan content of white-coat sesame cultivars was significantly hi임or than that of black-coat ones. Korean sesame cultivars also showed considerably higher sesamin content than sesamolin content in seeds. The correlation between sesamin and sesamolin contents was not recognized in Korean sesame cultivars. The stearic acid of white-coat sesame was significantly higher than that of black-coat one (p<0.05).

십자화과 채소종자의 검은빛썩음병 감염검정 및 종자소독 (Testing for Detection of Xanthomonas campestris pv. campestris in Crucifer Seeds and Seed Disinfection)

  • 총29점의 국내시판 십자화과 채소종자에 대하여 검은빛썩음병(흑부병) 감염여부를 종자세척액의 농축, 선택배지에 도말방법에 의해 조사한 결과 1점의 수입 양배추종자에서 검은빛썩음병균이 검출되었다. 몇가지 종자소독방법을 검토한 결과 옥시풀($3\3%$ 과한사수소수)에 30분간 침지함으로써 자연감염종자의 검은빛썩음병균을 소독할 수 있었다. 십자화과 채소재배포장에서 발병조사 결과 검은빛썩음병이 양배추에서는 매우 중요한 병해인 것으로 나타났다.

이탈리안 라이그라스 채종시기별 건물생산능력 및 생육특성 (Groeth Charateristics & Matter Yield Ability According to Seed Production Time of Italian Ryegrass)

  • The experiment was conducted to inxvestigate matter production ability and growth characteristic variation for Italian ryegrass seed of introduced variety and the different seed production time of the next generation in paddy field at Iksan and Kyehwa experiment field from 1987 to 1988. Germination rate is good at seed production of 35 days before and after heading with introducced variety. Also, Early growth before wintering, dead leaf rate and regenerating day is same tendendy. Panicle numbers per hill like that and heading date is for 15~20 days after heading seed is late about three days, but 35 days before and after heading seed is early about one day. Fresh and drymatter yield at the different cutting time shows decrease in 15~25 days after heading seed but 35 days before and after heading seed is same or increase trend, it's notable at Kyehwa paddy field in reclaimed land. In case of feed value according to cutting time differ little against introduced seed.

블록암호 SEED-192에 대한 취약키 분석 (Analysis for Weak Keys of the Block Cipher SEED-192)

  • 본 논문에서는 블록암호 SEED-192 키 스케줄 취약점을 분석한다. 본 연구 결과에 의하면, SEED-192는 전체 20 라운드 중 16 라운드에 대해, 연관키 렉탱글/부메랑 공격에 대한 취약키가 존재한다. 이는 SEED-192 키 스케줄에 대한 최초의 분석 결과이다.

  • Ginseng seeds were gathered from 3,4,5 and 6 years of age and were classified into four qroups (below 4mm, 4∼5mm, 5∼6mm and above 6mm in across sieve). They were sown in seedling bed and some characters were investigated in each qroup of seed size. 1. The distribution of seed size of below 4mm, 4-5mm, 5-6mm and 6mm were 23.7%, 60.8%, 12.4% and 4.5%, respectively. 2. The ratio of seed coat dehiscence was not affected by seed size but emergence ratio and emerging vigor were superior in large seed. 3. The large seed showed superiority in stem length, stem diameter, leat and also in root length, root diameter and root weight. but diseased root was not affected by seed size. The effect of age(seed harvest) was not significant on all those characters.

참깨 과립종자 제조기 개발 (I) - 시작기 개발과 성능평가 - (Development of a Pellet Seed Machine for Sesame (I) - Prototype and Its Performance -)

  • Sesame was one of the economical crops in Korea. However, cultivation area of sesame has been decreasing rapidly due to the lack of mechanization for this crop and the opening of agricultural product market. Sesame seed is so small that ordinary seeder can not seed properly. In rural practice, farmers seed sesame with hand and do thinning after shoot emerges. Seeding and thinning in sesame cultivation take more than 40% of total labor To reduce labor in seeding and thinning, a pellet seed machine for sesame has been developed. The pellet seed machine is very simple in structure. It utilizes the chemical reaction between alginate solution and $CaCl_2$. Two material forms a membrane when they meet The uniqueness of the pellet seed machine for sesame were 1) a counter rotating roller for metering the mixture of activated carbon and alginate and 2) swinging plate for submerging seed into the mixture. The prototype machine can produce 30, 000 pellets per hour and costs ₩6, 891 per 1 km sesame.
