  • The study is intended to examine awareness of safety as a differentiated service strategy and t to induce offer of more competitive services to the internal and external consumers in service industry of the South Korea. In the pursuit of this purpose, the typical occupations of the service industry targeted hotel employees and this study investigate the policy effectiveness of security management in Korea hotels. Specifically, this study was conducted by survey and involved major hotel(Seoul, Busan, Gyeongsangnam-do, Gyeongsangbuk-do) across the country. This survey went through feasibility study by major hotels managers. The results were as follows: Findings of the study suggested that most of disaster management stages did not have a statistically significant relationship with the policy effectiveness of security management. Only, repair stage have significant impact on the policy effectiveness of security management. This finding was found to be attributable to the fact that hotel employee would be concentrated in the tangible results of security management.

  • IDS/IPS and networked computer systems are playing an increasingly important role in our society. They have been the targets of a malicious attacks that actually turn into intrusions. That is why computer security has become an important concern for network administrators. Recently, various Detection/Prevention System schemes have been proposed based on various technologies. However, the techniques, which have been applied in many systems is useful for existing intrusion patterns on standard-only systems. Therefore, probe detection of private clouds using BlockChain has become a major security protection technology to detection potential attacks. In addition, BlockChain and Probe detection need to take into account the relationship between the various factors. We should develop a new probe detection technology that uses BlockChain to fine new pattern detection probes in cloud service security in the end. In this paper, we propose a probe detection using Fuzzy Cognitive Map(FCM) and Self Adaptive Module(SAM) based on service security using BlockChain technology.

  • The security industry for civilians (Private Security), was first introduced to Korea via the US army's security system in the early 1960's. Shortly after then, official police laws were enforced in 1973, and private security finally started to develop with the passing of the 'service security industry' law in 1976. Korea's Private Security industry grew rapidly in the 1980's with the support of foreign funds and products, and now there are thought to be approximately 2000 private security enterprises currently running in Korea. However, nowadays the majority of these enterprises are experiencing difficulties such as lack of funds, insufficient management, and lack of control over employees, as a result, it seems difficult for some enterprises to avoid the low production output and bankruptcy. As a result of this these enterprises often settle these matters illegally, such as excessive dumping or avoiding problems by hiring inappropriate employees who don't have the right skills or qualifications for the jobs. The main problem with the establishment of this kind of security service is that it is so easy to make inroads into this private service market. All these hindering factors inhibit the market growth and impede qualitative development. Based on these main reasons, I researched this area, and will analyze and criticize the present condition of Korea's private security. I will present a possible development plan for the private security of Korea by referring to cases from the US and Japan. My method of researching was to investigate any related documentary records and articles and to interview people for necessary evidence. The theoretical study, involves investigation books and dissertations which are published from inside and outside of the country, and studying the complete collection of laws and regulations, internet data, various study reports, and the documentary records and the statistical data of many institutions such as the National Police Office, judicial training institute, and the enterprises of private security. Also, in addition, the contents of professionals who are in charge of practical affairs on the spot in order to overcomes the critical points of documentary records when investigating dissertation. I tried to get a firm grasp of the problems and difficulties which people in these work enterprises experience, this I thought would be most effective by interviewing the workers, for example: how they feel in the work places and what are the elements which inpede development? And I also interviewed policemen who are in charge of supervising the private escort enterprises, in an effort to figure out the problems and differences in opinion between domestic private security service and the police. From this investigation and research I will try to pin point the major problems of the private security and present a developmental plan. Firstly-Companies should unify the private police law and private security service law. Secondly-It is essential to introduce the 'specialty certificate' system for the quality improvement of private security service. Thirdly-must open up a new private security market by improving old system. Fourth-must build up the competitive power of the security service enterprises which is based on an efficient management. Fifth-needs special marketing strategy to hold customers Sixth-needs positive research based on theoretical studies. Seventh-needs the consistent and even training according to effective market demand. Eighth-Must maintain interrelationship with the police department. Ninth-must reinforce the system of Korean private security service association. Tenth-must establish private security laboratory. Based on these suggestions there should be improvement of private security service.

Moreover the effective provision of police service lies beyond the boundaries of the police organization. Therefore private security personnel have made an effort for safety and protection of group as well as an individual through the introduction of private security industry based on a benefit principle and private security industry is being become complexes utilizing technology as well as high-end devices through various international events. The field of private security industry in Korea is being extended rapidly with expansionism of society and public services but the quality improvement is declining. Furthermore the study of recruit education program for security personnel as the basis of quality improvement is insufficient compared with the study of police service. Consequently, this investigation is going to contribute to development of recruit education program for security personnel through the analysis about difference of each subject usability for education about electronic security and facility guard.

  • Developed countries have been taking their private security industry to the next advanced level to maintain safety of society, promote cooperative security in conjunction with public security such as the police, cultivate domestic security industry, and spur economic growth. In Korea, Service Security Business Act(currently, Security Business Act) enacted in 1976 laid groundwork for rapid institutional development. Nonetheless, the need to rename current title of Security Business Act has been discussed continuously among scholars and industry. Particularly, a bill(bill no.: 2389) was proposed in 2012 to rename 'Security Business Act' completely to 'Private Security Industry Act'. Under those circumstances, this study was intended to discuss proposals that had been made to rename the Act for underpinning development of security industry, along with its amendment, by gathering opinions from scholars in the field of security. It is undeniable that there is need for renaming the Act. As the renaming of the Act can have positive impact in many aspects for promotion of security industry, the urgency to rename the Act is indisputable. The results suggested that scholars specializing in security hoped the Security Business Act to be renamed primarily to Guard and Security Industry, and if not, to be renamed to Security Industry Act. The renaming of the Act will give rise to the need to amend many parts of provisions contained therein as follow-up action.
