Although the area of information security planning and management has gained an increased attention, not much discussion was available on the role and the impact of the board members towards a firm's security management and governance decisions. In this research, we draw on corporate governance and the organizational demography literature to conduct an exploratory empirical study on the association between the board structure of a firm and the possibility of information security breaches. Our results show that the board size, the average age/tenure and the heterogeneity of age could reduce the possibility of security breaches while the proportion of independent directors and the heterogeneity of tenure could increase it. Our findings shed lights on the important role played by the board when managing information security risks in organizations.

Trust models in the literature of MANETs commonly assume that packets have different security requirements. Before a node forwards a packet, if the recipient's trust level does not meet the packet's requirement level, then the recipient must perform certain security association procedures, such as re-authentication. We present in this paper an analysis of the epidemic broadcast delay in such context. The network, mobility and trust models presented in this paper are quite generic and allow us to obtain the delay component induced only by the security associations along a path. Numerical results obtained by simulations also confirm the accuracy of the analysis. In particular, we can observe from both simulation's and analysis results that, for large and sparsely connected networks, the delay caused by security associations is very small compared to the total delay of a packet. This also means that parameters like network density and nodes' velocity, rather than any trust model parameter, have more impact on the overall delay.

This study has been conducted to provide data that contribute to increasing efficiency of 'Private Security', which is cooperated by customer, security companies and the police which carried out 'Public Law Enforcement' and controls security companies. To reach this purpose, we investigated the status of the 'Security Alarm Systems' operated by security service companied in Korea, analyzed arising problems, considered the polices for improving the operational quality. 'Electronic Security Systems' will increase working efficiency in performing 'Private Security'. There can be no two opinions on this matter. Therefore, it can be supposed that the improvement of operational quality of 'Electronic Security System' is an important factor to accomplish security services. 'Security Alarm System' is one of the 'Electronic Security System'. The critical problems in operating 'Security Alarm system' are unnecessary response by false alarm and nuisance alarm. To reduce the problems, it is suggested that security specialist officially licensed should improve security planning, installation and maintenance, and the 'Alarm Verification System' should be introduced with appropriate facilities.

쿠키는 단순한 텍스트 파일로 사용자가 웹 서비스를 제공 받은 서비스 내용이 기록되어 있다. 쿠키파일에 기록 되는 정보 중에는 사용자의 개인정보도 포함된다. 개인정보가 기록된 쿠키파일을 공격자 획득하게 되면 사용자의 개인정보 유출로 인해 금전적인 피해까지 입을 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 쿠키 파일의 보안성 향상을 위해 제시된 관련연구와 쿠키파일의 낮은 보안성으로 인해 발생할 수 있는 취약성을 살펴본다. 관련 연구와 쿠키 파일의 취약성 분석을 통해 쿠키 파일을 안전하게 보관할 수 있는 보안영역에 대한 설계와 효율적인 보안영역을 제시를 위해 보안영역을 구현할 수 있는 방법에 대해서 알아본다. 또한, 성능평가를 통해서 보안성을 확인해 보았다. 보안영역을 통해서 사용자 PC에 저장된 쿠키파일의 보안성을 향상시켜 사용자의 개인정보를 안전하게 유지할 수 있을 것이다.

산업보안 관련 연구는 지난 10여 년 간 빠르게 증가하는 추세를 보이고 있다. 산업보안 관련 학회가 만들어지고, 대학에 산업보안학과가 신설되면서 산업보안에 대한 학문적 관심과 연구 또한 빠른 속도로 확산되고 있다. 이와 같이 학문적 관심과 연구가 양적으로 크게 성장한 반면에 학문적 체계화의 기초가 되는 이론 분야에 대한 연구는 극히 미미한 실정이다. 개념화를 비롯한 이론적 바탕에 대한 고민 없이 특정 현안에 대한 문제 제기와 실무적인 해결 방안 제시에만 관심이 집중되어 있는 형편이다. 때문에 대부분 연구에서 산업보안 개념은 선행연구에서 적용한 개념을 그대로 수용하는 수준에 머물러 있다. 산업보안 연구 대부분이 '산업기술보호'라는 특정 주제로 집중된 이유가 산업보안 개념을 산업기술보호로 축소해 간주하고 있기 때문이다. 산업보안은 매우 다양한 영역과 분야로 이뤄져 있음에도 특정 분야를 산업보안의 전부로 인식하는 것은 매우 심각한 문제가 아닐 수 없다. 이로 인해 산업보안 연구에서 산업보안 개념은 모호하고 부정확하고 편의적으로 사용되고 있는 상황이다. 산업보안 개념을 논리적 명확성과 경험적 타당성에 근거하여 정확하고 히 인식하여 제시할 필요가 있는 것이다.

To make a long story short by few words, the question resolves itself into the following five points. The first, peoples arrengements for the attitude fo public duty service with devotedly Sustaining publicity work activities for the thire divert of the understanding of civilian security guard. Purpose Although examining the antecedents of employees' extra-role behavior (i.e. information security participation behavior) in the information security context is significant for researchers and practitioners, most behavioral security studies have focused on employees' in-role behavior (i.e. information security policy compliance). Thus, this research addresses this gap by investigating how organizational information security climate influences information security participation behavior based on social information processing theory and Griffin and Neal's safety model. Design/methodology/approach We developed a research model by applying Griffin and Neal's safety model to the information security context and then tested our research model by conducting an online survey for employees of organizations with information security policies. Structural equation modeling (SEM) with SmartPLS 3.3.2 is used to test the corresponding hypothesis. Findings Our results show that organizational information security climate, information security knowledge, information security motivation are effective in motivating information security participation behavior. Also, we find that organizational information security climate positively influences both information security knowledge and information security motivation. Our findings emphasize the importance of organizational information security climate because it is capable of affecting employees on information security participation behavior. Our study contributes to the literature on information security by exploring the role of organizational information security climate in enhancing employees' information security participation behavior.

현대에 이르러 우리나라의 경비 형태는 과거 인력 경비에 비해, 보다 효율적인 기계경비 형태로 발전하고 있다. 기계경비는 경제적, 운용적 측면에서 인력경비에 비해 그 장점을 가지고 있다. 하지만 기계경비에 사용되는 장비를 운용하는데 있어서 오경보 등과 같은 취약점이 발생하고 있으며, 이를 보완하기 위한 연구가 진행되고 있다. 이에 본 논문은 기계경비 운용상의 취약점에 대하여 AHP기법을 통하여 도출된 결과에 대한 개선방안을 제시하고자 한다.
