This study analyzes and categorizes the cases of military look's transitional design ideas in recent women's fashion collections, and derives characteristics. The research method is a theoretical review of military look and an analysis of fashion collection cases. The research results were classified into a total of six transformational design ideas. As a structural change in design, it is a decentralized type, a type of expansion and reduction, a change in the entire material, or a transition of some materials, and finally a type according to heterogeneous harmony and organic combination corresponding to styling. Finally, a total of three characteristics are the reconstruction of structural elements, the expansion of the metric of the second mix match, and the emotional fusion of styling. I hope that the study of the transformative type of idea of the new military look will be the driving force for creative design development and will be a basic study that can read the current status and changes of the times throughout fashion design.

Purpose : We observed usability of allograft by evaluating the clinical results, second look arthroscopic and histologic findings at last follow up after anterior cruciate ligament(ACL) reconstruction using by fresh frozen Achilles allograft. Materials and Methods : We analyzed in 58 patients(59 cases) by subjective and objective parameters, Telos stress arthrometer and Modified Feagin Scoring System. The average age and follow up period was 25 years(ranging from 18 to 49 years), and 15 months(ranging from 12 to 19 months). Among them we studied second look arthroscopic and histologic findings in 16 patients. Results : The mean Lysholm Score wits improved from 60 to 88.2 as well the anterior translation was improved from 7.1 min to 2.3mm at last follow up. The second look arthroscopic findings were close to normal in ligament thickness, tension and showed revasculization at the holly attachment site. Light microscope(LM) findings showed dense cellularity like a normal ligament. In electron microscope(EM) collagen fibrils showed parallel arrangement longitudinally and unimodal pattern diameter close to normal tissue in the transverse section. Conclusion : We think that the fresh frozen Achilles allograft is a good substitution of autograft in cruciate ligament reconstruction.

For a distance-regular graph with valency k, second largest eigenvalue r and diameter D, it is known that r ≥ $min\{\frac{{\lambda}+\sqrt{{\lambda}^2+4k}}{2},\;a_3\}$ if D = 3 and r ≥ $\frac{{\lambda}+\sqrt{{\lambda}^2+4k}}{2}$ if D ≥ 4, where λ = a₁. This result can be generalized to the class of edge-regular graphs. For an edge-regular graph with parameters (v, k, λ) and diameter D ≥ 4, we compare $\frac{{\lambda}+\sqrt{{\lambda}^2+4k}}{2}$ with the local valency λ to find a relationship between the second largest eigenvalue and the local valency. For an edge-regular graph with diameter 3, we look at the number $\frac{{\lambda}-\bar{\mu}+\sqrt{({\lambda}-\bar{\mu})^2+4(k-\bar{\mu})}}{2}$, where $\bar{\mu}=\frac{k(k-1-{\lambda})}{v-k-1}$, and compare this number with the local valency λ to give a relationship between the second largest eigenvalue and the local valency. Also, we apply these relationships to distance-regular graphs.

This study examines the meaning of retro phenomenon and its background of establishment that showed in the pop culture. And it finds out the retro phenomena in the domestic fashion trends. And it defines the characteristics of dress and its ornament in the retro phenomena that have shown in the Korean movies since 1998. By doing this, it examines the relationship between movie dress and street fashion while it compares the styles in the 50s 70s with the retro fashion that is currently emerging. The results of the study are as follows. First, the hippie look in the 60s represented a distinctive characteristic of how they rejected traditional lifestyles. Hippie's romantic femininity that showed in the movie of 'Oollala Sisters' received a spotlight as a necessary style in the modern fashion trend. Second, while the funk look in the 70s was a style of disorder and disgust, the movie gives it a possibility of fashion with a converted sense as a vanguard fashion while embracing the funk look. Third, the layered look in the 70s was expressed with layered items, while the current layered look emphasizes layered textiles as shown in the movie of 'Hae-Jeok Became The Disco King'. Fourth, the feminine look which was a symbol of restraint shows a mixed style with delicate feminine items as shown in the movies, 'The Harmonium In My Memory' and 'Ditto'. Fifth, the training look that has two stripes as shown in the movie 'the Friends' is considered as casual wear, which is functional and easy to move at the end of the 20th century. Finally, the romantic images of school look, as shown in the movies 'the Friends' and 'Hae-Jeok Became The Disco King', show a renewed mixed & unique style. This study has its significance in the sense that it verifies the fact that the movie dress does not show the characteristics of the works that momentarily passes the screen, but it becomes a foundation of the future fashion design. At this time that Korean movies are highly developing, a through study on the movie fashion will not only give a direction of future in the modern fashion, but it will also give a developing momentum in the Korean movie dress.

The pursuit of freedom by the individual--desire to be liberated from all forms of restrictions-- is one of the defining character-istic of the modern society. As costume is, in part, a product of the spirit of the times, it was only natural that this desire for freedom would find its expression in modern costume as well. Among various forms of restrictions, differentiaton by sex has placed one of the most significant binding influences on individual behavior. From early times, the dichotomous division by sex was incorporated into the disign of costume, and the traditional differestriction of costume by sex imposed a significant restriction on the background,“the modern androhynous look”was born as a by-product of the sexual liberation movement in the second half of the 20th century, based on the concept of the individual as a complete human being rather than as a member exclusively of either the male or the female sex. This paper seeks to examine the androgynous look within a coherent theoretical frame-work, and explore new design possibilities by analyzing and understanding the visual characteristics of the androgynous look. In addition, this paper seeks to define the functional aspects of the androgynous look based on the premise that costume is an embodiment of the spirit of the times. As for research methodology, both theoretical and historical methods are employed. Through a theoretical examination of historical documents, the meaning of the androgynous look is explored from various angles, and order to examine its place in modern fashion, an-drogynous styles are categorized and system atically analyzed. The main findings of the paper can be summarized as follows : 1. Androgyny is a compound word consisting of“andro-”(meaning man) and“gyn-”(meaning woman). In modern times, this word has been associated with the socio-cultural aspect of gender rather than the physical or physiological aspect with the pshchological characteristics of the male and female sexes. Androgynous styles also appear in fashion and general arts such as drama, film, dance, and music. In fashion, the androgynous look, represented by the visual superimposition of “masculine”and “faminine”elements, has emerged as a major element of the 20th-century costume, and has gained broad acceptance among those free spirits wishing to be liberated from the conventional conceptions of male clothing, and the unisex look. 3. The androgynous look in modern fashion reflects the spirit of the 20th century society and culture, and performs various functions as follows : expression of fun, change in gender roles, expression of the inner consciousness, and pursuit of the ideal human type.

This study offers data that can be used to direct the styles of black dresses by looking into the characteristics of coordination in black fashion, which is continuously appearing at modem. fashion collections with a unique aesthetic value and image. This study examined the characteristic of fashion coordination of black color: First, to look at the fashion image of black color, second, to look at the characteristic of black color coordination appearing in black fashion, and third, to look at the method of coordination appearing in black color. This study collected and selected 560 black pictures that showed the fashion collections from 2005 S/S until 2007 F/W. As for data analysis, the researcher made a content analysis by classifying the pictures by item, material, accessory, and a coordination method. The research results are as follows: First, the fashion image of black color was expressed as sexy feminine, modern chic, modern future, genderless, and avant-garde images. Second, the fashion coordination of black color has the characteristics of sexiness and dignity by the use of body exposure, concealment, and a subdued line that expresses a modern, minimal atmosphere. The mix & match of materials expressed the monotony of one color as refined beauty and the use of accessories appeared to bring the image into relief. Third, as for the coordination method, pants on skirts, pants on dresses, piece coordination of code matching, plus- one coordination through vivid colors and accessories, and cross-over coordination relying on shape, material, and sense were prominent.
