  • In this paper, we introduce a hyper-chaos secure communication method using Hyper-chaos consist of State-Controlled Cellular Neural Network (SC-CNN). A hyper-chaos circuit is created by applying identical n-double scroll with weak coupled method to each cell. Hyper-chaos synchronization was achieved using embedding synchronization between the transmitter and receiver about in SC CNN. And then, we accomplish secure communication by synthesizing the desired information with a hyper-chaos circuit by embedding the information signal to the only one state variable instead of all state variables in the driven-synchronization method. After transmitting the synthesized signal to the identical channel, we confirm secure communication by separating the information signal and the hyper-chaos signal in the receiver.

  • This paper presents the mean streamline analysis using the empirical loss correlations for performance prediction of cross-flow fans. Comparison of overall performance predictions with test data of a cross-flow fan system with a simplified vortex wall scroll casing and with the published experimental characteristics for a cross-flow fan has been carried out to demonstrate the accuracy of the proposed method. Predicted performance curves by the present mean streamline analysis agree well with experimental data for two different cross-flow fans over the normal operating conditions. The prediction method presented herein can be used efficiently as a tool for the preliminary design and performance analysis of general-purpose cross-flow fans.

  • This research describes the application of hydrocarbon refrigerants for heat pump system which is needed for fish farm. Tested refrigerants are HCFC-22 and hydrocarbon refrigerants(CARE 50 and ASR-20). CARE 50 is mixture of R-290 and R-170, and ASR-20 is mixture of R-152a, R-290 and other additives. Heat pump consist of shell and tube heat exchanger, scroll compressor, expansion valve and accumulator. Manual expansion valve is used for testing of wide range evaporating temperature. Hydrocarbon refrigerants show a good performance as an alternative for HCFC-22 in the range of evaporating temperature from $-6^{\circ}C$ to $6^{\circ}C$.

  • For a smooth algebraic curve C of genus g $\geq$ 4, let $SU_C$(r, d) be the moduli space of semistable bundles of rank r $\geq$ 2 over C with fixed determinant of degree d. When (r,d) = 1, it is known that $SU_C$(r, d) is a smooth Fano variety of Picard number 1, whose rational curves passing through a general point have degree $\geq$ r with respect to the ampl generator of Pic($SU_C$(r, d)). In this paper, we study the locus swept out by the rational curves on $SU_C$(r, d) of degree < r. As a by-product, we present another proof of Torelli theorem on $SU_C$(r, d).

  • Cross-flow fans are widely used in various applications, due to their large capacity of mass flow and size compactness. The flow field of the cross-flow fan is, however, complex and has many design parameters. Thus, the general design guide has not been sufficiently established yet and the design strategies of cross-flow fans have been mostly based on experiments. In the present study, the performance and their two-dimensional flow characteristics are numerically analyzed by using the STAR-CD(commercial computational fluid dynamics code). The simulation is done by varying the several design parameters such as the impeller blade shapes and the gap between the stabilizer and impeller. The computational results are compared with the experimental data at the fan outlet region. Finally, some helpful guides for the optimum design of cross-flow fans are proposed.

  • Gear is general mechanical elements that used for power transmission between two shafts that interval is comparatively short. and it delivers big power as accurate ratio of speed. The profile of Spur gear which is the most basic factor is divided into Trochoidal fillet curve and Involute curve. Involute curve is used a lot of a shaped curve of machine parts such as a gear, a scroll compressor and a collar of centrifugal pump. However, it is poor to study the modeling of Trochoidal fillet curve and the three dimensions model shaped mathematical curve. This paper describes a mathematical model of profile shifted involute gear. and this model is based on Camus's theory. • Comprehensive study on a centrifugal blower for air-purifier involving a few physical filters for percolation process has been accomplished for an optimal design of the air handling system. The filtering media causes a flow resistance for induced flows by a rotating impeller. The present methodology is to adopt PIV system for velocity measurements and wind tunnel connected with an anechoic chamber for total performance test of the blower. Trial prototypes for the blades of a rotor and casing are presented for satisfaction of both flow rate and noise level set by design objectives. Tapered blades with a special casing for a fan show good performance data. The results of velocity fields also explain the reason of improvements of the blower performance.

  • A significant trial has been performed for estimation of noise level of a cross flow fan for air conditioning system. In general, measurements of noise level of machinery require rigorous equipment involving an anechoic chamber with precision gauges. The apparatus is expensive to utilize and is not easy to construct. In this work, we adopt static pressure sensing from an ordinary pressure transducer for prediction of noise level of a rotating fan. The present procedure is finding sound pressure from the static pressure by manipulating Light-Curle equation depicts noisy energy in terms of pressure on surfaces of noise generators. Sound power level near core unit of the fan is evaluated with the present methodology in a normal laboratory room without any sound absorbers. The method is easy and shows good prediction results compared with precise measurements by using microphones.
