Citizen's involvement in forest decision-making is recently acknowledged as a potential solution to forest management conflicts. Through participation, affected citizens become a part of the decision-making process. This paper focuses on the use of collaborative and participatory model(CPM) for urban forest management. The model, which is exemplified by the Daejisan case in Yongin-si, Gyeonggi-do, Korea, utilizes the collaborative decision-making structure and the gradual level of resident participation in urban forest management. As a result, the committee in the model contributed to building partnerships among different interest groups and then to constructing environmentally compatible urban park. Furthermore, an improvement in the levels of resident participation was manifested in the process. These characteristics of CPM can encourage participation and cooperation among stakeholders and ultimately contribute to realizing sustainable urban forest management.

It is well known that making electric motors is very difficult in chapter 2, "Electric Current and Magnetic Field", natural science textbook 6-1 in primary school. In the present paper, we propose a new and successful method for making them. The most important point is that iron cores are not used in making electromagnets. This resolves the problem that both poles of electromagnet can be attracted by any pole of permanent magnet because of iron core in the electromagnet. The thick enamel wire is used as arms of armature so that they can support the electromagnet stably and we can reliably strip off the skin of the enamel wires, completely for one end and half for the other end of the enamel wires coming from the electromagnet. In addition, we suggest the ring-type support made of aluminum foil and the M-shaped support made of thick enamel wire that can substitute for the M-shaped copper wire support for armature. armature.

This study investigated the relationships among 'sense of humor', 'creativity', 'creativity in scientific humor', and 'perceptions of educational benefits for making scientific humor' of elementary students. To do this, fifth graders (n=42) at an elementary school and fifth graders (n=38) at gifted science education institutes in Seoul were selected. Tests for 'sense of humor', 'creativity', 'creativity in scientific humor', and 'perceptions of educational benefits for making scientific humor' were then administered. Analysis of the results revealed that all subcategories of 'sense of humor' had significantly positive relationships with all subcategories of 'creativity' except 'openness'. However, all subcategories of 'sense of humor' were not significantly correlated with all subcategories of 'creativity in scientific humor' and 'perception of educational benefits for making scientific humor'. Educational implications of these findings are discussed.

Autonomous decision-making is key to safe and efficient marine autonomy, as global marine industry comprises over 90 percent of the world's cargo transportation. Challenges of the real-world validation in the aquatic domain limits the wide-spread of ASVs despite their promising societal impacts. We propose and demonstrate the real-world validation platform and comprehensive algorithm steps. Such a framework will serve as a more explainable and reliable decision-making system of ASVs as well as autonomous vehicles in other domains.

The purposes of this study were to examine if a decision making by a tourist sequentially or hierarchically occurs in a tourism destination and to test determinants that have an effect on both a sequential and non-sequential decision making. An instrument for the study was developed with three steps. A total of 420 and 380 questionnaire were collected respectively for the first two round surveys. For the third step, a pilot test was conducted with 30 respondents. And the data analysis utilized SPSS 18.0. A logistic regression analysis with variables of tourism activity and demography was employed to investigate the factors that affect a sequence of decision-making process. As an important result, the higher the age of the tourist in a tourism destination, the more conspicuous the consumption expenditure is made through the sequential decision-making process. Additionally, it is unreasonable to apply the premises and assumptions in extant consumer behavior to tourist behavior. The process of decision making by tourists in tourism areas is driven by either non-sequential or non-hierarchical decision-making process. More discussion and implications were provided.

Electronic Records Management System (ERMS) is a computer program or set of applications that is utilized for keeping up to date records along with their storage. ERMS has been extensively utilized for enhancing the performance of academic institutions. The system assists in the planning and decision-making processes, which in turn enhances the competencies. However, although ERMS is significant in supporting the process of decision-making, the majority of organizations have failed to take an initiative to implement it, taking into account that are some implementing it without an appropriate framework, and thus resulted in the practice which does not meet the accepted standard. Therefore, this study identifies the factors influencing the adoption of ERMS among employees of HLI in Yemen and the role of such adoption in the decision-making process, using the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) along with Technology, Organization and Environment (TOE) as the underpinning theories. The study conducts a cross-sectional survey with a questionnaire as the technique for data collection, distributed to 364 participants in various Yemeni public Higher Learning Institutions (HLI). Using AMOS as a statistical method, the findings revealed there are significant and positive relationships between technology factors (effort expectancy, performance expectancy, IT infrastructure and security), organizational factors (top management support, financial support, training, and policy),environmental factors (competitiveness pressure, facilitating conditions and trust) and behavioral intention to adopt ERMS, which in return has a significant relationship with the process of decision-making in HLI. The study also presents a variety of theoretical and empirical contributions that enrich the body of knowledge in the field of technology adoption and the electronic record's domain.

We measure individuals' decision making styles and risk attitudes from a sample of Korean adults using the general decision making styles (GDMS) and the multiple price list design (MPLD), respectively. With the measurement results, we identify the distributions of the decision making styles and risk attitudes, and explore the relationship between them. Specifically, we conduct an exploratory experiment to find out some meaningful characteristics of the Korean adults in terms of their decision making styles and risk attitudes. The results of the experiment show that the distribution of the five decision making styles turns out to be different by the demographic characteristics of the sample. In addition, risk attitudes of the Korean people are quite distinct from those shown in the previous studies which were mostly conducted in the United States with the samples of college students. It is also shown that each of the five decision making styles has a different distribution of risk attitudes, which is statistically verified. The results of this study make a meaningful addition to the literature of this kind by providing the rationale for understanding the decision making styles and the risk attitudes of the Korean adults, which may serve as grounds for predicting the behaviors of the key individuals in various public and private sectors.

Scientific involvement in complex decision-making systems, characterized by multicriteria phenomena and fuzziness inherent in the structure of information, requires suitable methods. Especially, when powerful dependent criteria are introduced, the systems are become more complex. This paper presents a fuzzy dependence relation model for this kind of multicriteria decision-making. The model we propose is based on fuzzy relation in fuzzy system theory. For the application of the model a numerical example is quoted.

This paper describes two contrasting approaches to group decision making involving multiple criteria. A compromise programming method and the analytic hierarchy process are analyzed and compared by using an illustrative example of a computer model selection problem to demonstrate their usefulness as a viable tool for group decision making. This paper further considers some extensions and modifications of there two methods for future study.

We study on the consistency of AHP. It is research that extend of SAW methods by [1].
