This paper presents the better efficient evaluation of the Small and Medium Enterprises by use of fuzzy multi-criteria decision making methodology under intersectional dependence relations. The five Small and Medium Enterprises alternative will be evaluated by Fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process(FAHP) based on entropy weight in this study. A case study is presented to illustrate the use of entropy weight measurement with intersectional dependence problems. These problems are evaluated seven criteria : market criteria, thchnology criteria, management ability criteria, planning criteria, propulsion ability criteria, project propulsion basis criteria, propulsion result criteria.

This paper with the development and analysis of a quantitative model for reducing operating budgets of the academic units of small private university, while reflecting the diverse goals of the university. A zero-one goal programming approach is used to design and implement the model for budgetary decision making. The goal programming model can facilitate academic planning and decision-making by providing valuable information.

We note that the time of adolescents is very important time for obtaining informations about their jobs, exploring and making appropriate their career decision. In order to understand the career decision level of adolescents, we needed a study on effects of personal variables and family variables affecting the career decision level. For this, we provide direct, indirect and total effects of family variables and personal variables on the career decision level using the path analysis. Therefore, in this study, we give the real usefulness for making a different diagnosis and strategy solving some problems of career decision level.

In this study, journal selection processes of the Science Citation Index (SCI) and the SCOPUS are investigated aiming at making the Journal of the Korean Meteorological Society (JKMS) an SCI journal. In addition, some characteristic features of the SCI journals in the field of atmospheric sciences published in Asian countries are examined. Some domestic journals in the related disciplines that are recently listed in the SCI and SCOPUS are also analyzed in terms of strategic approaches. Results of this study may provide fundamental strategic information in pursuing the JKMS to be listed in the SCI in the near future.

Steel making using EAF (Electric Arc Furnace) consists of three major processes: molten steel making, slab casting and hot rolling. Orders from customers, which includes their requirements such as composition, order quantity with allowable range, width, thichness, and unit weight of coils etc, are grouped as charges for EAF to enhance the productivity of the furnace. This paper develops an efficient grouping algorithm for charges in the EAF by exploiting the order characteristics: the allowable ranges of furnace capacity, order quantity, and unit weight of coils. Numerical test shows that the proposed heuristic works very efficiently and the results are quite satisfactory.

In multiattribute decision making a decision maker (DM) can choose the best alternative if his/her multiattribute utility function and the joint probability distribution of outcomes are exactly known. This paper develops multiattribute stochastic-statistical dominance rules which can be applied to the situation when neither of them is known exactly, that is, when the DM cannot calculate the expected utility for each alternative. First, the notion of relative risk aversion is used dominance rules are developed to screen out dominated alternatives so that hi/she choose the best one among the remaining nondominated alternatives.

In 1926, Alfred Lotka examined the frequency distribution of scientific productivity of chemists and physicists. He observed that the number of persons making n contributions is about $1/ n^2$ of those making one and the proportion of all contributions that make a single contribution is about $60\%$. Investigator studing the applicability of 'Lotka's Law' to Mathematics and to Mechanical engineers have fitted Lotka's Law and concluded that the law applied to these subject fields.

In this paper, we calculate the premium rate of reliability insurance policy for wiper motors under the assumption of Weibull physics of failure. We also describe the performance factors which have an effect on failure characteristics of wiper motors. The maximum likelihood estimates of shape parameter and scale parameter are obtained by using interval censored real data of sample sizes 6 using MINITAB.

Our research participants were composed of health teachers exhausted by the COVID-19 pandemic. This study analyzed the attitudes towards image-making through utilizing the job training at Gwangju Metropolitan Office of Education on August 2022, where our study was able to obtain and analyze 30 elementary, middle, and high school health teachers who participated. Image making is defined as playing a role in increasing self-esteem through outward appearances such as facial expressions and posture, personal color, makeup, tone, hairstyling, and fashion and impacting individuals inwardly to increase self-confidence. Therefore, there is a positive impact in providing an image-making program that considers the occupational characteristics of a health teacher. It had the effect of stress relief and aided in building a healthier self-image among the participants. The results our study showed the following results. First, all participants had various concerns regarding their appearance and deemed that image-making was necessary, yet they needed to be more informed regarding the specific methods of doing so. Secondly, participants were mainly focused on purchasing makeup products for image making. Although participants showed interest in a personal color diagnosis, there needed to be more support in approaching the subject as the diagnosis was necessary from an expert. Third, participants stated that image-making should occur for their middle-aged selves when experienced in the field. Participants believed that they would be more concerned with how others viewed them after gaining expertise. Hence, this study found that the occupational characteristics of health teachers greatly benefitted from image-making programs oriented to their careers and would also show an increase in job satisfaction.

Purpose - The purpose of this study is to provide a formalized process of decision making for companies or organizations that need to make various decisions in the age of uncertainty. Therefore, this study aimed to proposes a strategic decision-making approach citing the relatively easily accessible using IPA(important-performance analysis) and SWOT/AHP analysis. Research design, data, and methodology - To be specific, the first step is to derive necessary attributes and conduct IPA. The second step is to subdivide the IPA results into internal strength and weakness factors and the external opportunity and threat factors, hierarchize those factors, and weight them accordingly. The third step is to build a causality model to propose a method of supporting a rational decision making. Results - The foregoing approach seems to facilitate the diversification of decision-making strategies by helping businesses or organizations to measure and analyze the attributes needed for certain decisions. Additionally, the perceived importance and satisfaction (or achievement) usage of those derived attributes can be used as the reference data for SWOT/AHP analysis. Conclusions - The proposed stepwise approach is applicable to businesses or organizations in need of making stepwise decisions in line with their retained competencies in comparison to conventional or intuitive decision-making practices.
