  • The purpose of this study was to investigate brain activation pattern and functional connectivity network during classification on the biological phenomena. Twenty six right-handed healthy science teachers volunteered to be in the present study. To investigate participants' brain activities during the tasks, 3.0T fMRI system with the block experimental-design was used to measure BOLD signals of their brain. According to the analyzed data, superior, middle and inferior frontal gyrus, superior and inferior parietal lobule, fusiform gyrus, lingual gyrus, and bilateral cerebellum were significantly activated during participants' carrying-out classification. The network model was consisting of six nodes (ROIs) and its fourteen connections. These results suggested the notion that the activation and connections of these regions mean that classification is consist of two sub-network systems (top-down and bottom-up related) and it functioning reciprocally. These results enable the examination of the scientific classification process from the cognitive neuroscience perspective, and may be used as basic materials for developing a teaching-learning program for scientific classification such as brain-based science education curriculum in the science classrooms.

  • In this paper we propose a new network called Dynamic network for symmetric block ciphers. Dynamic cipher has the property that the key-size, the number of round, and the plaintext-size are scalable simultaneously We present the method for designing secure Dynamic cipher against meet-in-the-middle attack and linear cryptanalysis. Also, we show that the differential cryptanalysis to Dynamic cipher is hard.

  • The components, configurations and analysis on cost - effectiveness for a library network are studied. In discussing the effectiveness of network, it was divided into 1) the effectiveness of on-line system, 2) the economy in the cost of information processing and management, 3) the effectiveness caused by the increase of information users and 4) the effectiveness by circulation of library holdings.

  • Core operations (e.9. TDMA scheduler, synchronized sleep period, data aggregation) of many proposed protocols for different layer of sensor network necessitate clock synchronization. Our Paper mingles the scheme of dynamic clustering and diffusion based asynchronous averaging algorithm for clock synchronization in sensor network. Our proposed algorithm takes the advantage of dynamic clustering and then applies asynchronous averaging algorithm for synchronization to reduce number of rounds and operations required for converging time which in turn save energy significantly than energy required in diffusion based asynchronous averaging algorithm.

  • There are multiple reasons that caused the present serious status of network security, including Internet itself having a weak basis. However security is usually discarded when it contends with performance. As the world becomes more tightly interconnected, security technology continues to mature, organizations are feeling a greater need to rediscover network security. Network security technology generally concentrates on protection of the network infrastructure and, by implication, the protection of the user. This is a paper, describe current problems of network security and propose solutions.

  • Target prioritization is necessary for a multifunction radar(MFR) to track an important target and manage the resources of the radar platform efficiently. In this paper, we consider an artificial neural network(ANN) model that calculates the priority of the target. Furthermore, we propose a neural network learning algorithm based on the steepest descent method, which is more suitable for target prioritization by combining the conventional gradient descent method. Several simulation results show that the proposed scheme is much more superior to the traditional neural network model from analyzing the training data accuracy and the output priority relevance of the test scenarios.

  • The Internet is a very successful modern technology and is considered to be one of the most important means of communication. Despite that success, fundamental architectural and business limitations exist in the Internet's design. Among these limitations, we focus on a specific issue, the lack of manageability, in this paper. Although it is generally understood that management is a significant and important part of network and service design, it has not been considered as an integral part in their design phase. We address this problem with our future Internet management architecture called highly manageable network and service architecture for new generation (HiMang), which is a novel architecture that aims at integrating management capabilities into network and service design. HiMang is highly manageable in the sense that it is autonomous, scalable, robust, and evolutionary while reducing the complexity of network management. Unlike any other management framework, HiMang provides management support for the revolutionary networks of the future while maintaining backward compatibility for existing networks.
