본 연구에서는 예비과학교사들을 대상으로 하여 이들이 과학교사가 되고자 하는 동기는 무엇이며, 이러한 동기는 성장과정에서 어떻게 형성되었는지, 그리고 이들이 가지는 미래 자신에 대한 과학교사상에는 어떤 특성이 나타나는지 알아보았다. 이들의 과학교사가 되고자 하는 동기와 동기 형성과정은 경험에 기반을 두어 형성된 것이기 때문에 개인적인 측면이 많았지만, 다음과 같은 공통적인 특성을 보였다. 첫째 예비과학교사들의 성장과정을 살펴보았을 때, 교육에 대한 흥미와 과학에 대한 흥미는 서로 별개로 존재하다가 나중에 과학교사에 대한 흥미로 두 관심이 모아졌으며, 과학교사가 자신의 흥미와 적성이 꼭 맞음을 발견했을 때, 그들은 과학교사에 대한 자신의 내적 동기를 발전시킬 수 있었다. 둘째, 중 고등학교에서의 보조교사 경험, 수업관찰, 초등학생 대상 과학교육 프로젝트의 참여, 과학 캠프 교사 등 교육현장을 직접보고, 가르쳐본 경험이 자신의 적성을 확인하는 중요한 계기가 되었다. 셋째, 교육에 대한 적성을 확인할 수 있는 기회는 사적인 것보다는 공적인 기회가 많았으며, 이러한 기회들은 자신의 미래 교사상을 형성하고 교사로서의 준비를 하는데 있어 생생한 경험이 되었고, 과학교사가 되고자 하는 내적 동기를 강화시켜, 자신의 진로를 주도적으로 선택하는데 있어 기반이 되었다. 넷째, 미래 자신에 대한 과학교사상에는 일반적인 교사로서의 이미지가 더 큰 사람이 있는 반면, 과학을 가르치는데 대한 이미지가 더 큰 사람이 있었다. 이와 같은 교사상은 자신의 교사가 되고자 하는 동기 및 동기 형성과정과 긴밀하게 연관되어 있었다.

The purpose of this study is to examine the difference between service quality satisfactions according to tourists' preference and segmentation by various motivations. Data were collected from 442 farm stay visitors by field surveys in rural areas. A factor-clustering method identified three distinct segments; want-it-all, overall low motivation, relaxation. MANOVA was used to examine the differences of service quality satisfaction for farm stay visitors' preference and segmentation by motivation. Results show that the type of guest room more significantly influenced farm stay visitors' satisfaction according to those three clusters. It should be noted that we have information on the characteristics and type of satisfaction of the consumers in order to improve the quality of farmstay's service in rural tourism.

The purpose of this study is to identify relationship among motivation factor, hygiene factor, and job satisfaction of school meal chefs. The respondents included 155 school meal chefs in the survey. Data was analyzed by confirmatory factor analysis and cause-effect analysis among the constructs. After research model testing, the following results was obtained : hygiene factor was influenced directly and positively by the job satisfaction of school meal chefs. But motivation factor was not influenced directly and positively by the job satisfaction of school meal chefs.

본 연구에서는 도서관 프로젝트학습에서 학습자의 학습동기와 메타인지가 어떤 관계에 있는지 살펴보았다. 연구환경으로 도서관 프로젝트학습을 설계하고 실행 및 평가하는 전체적인 교수-학습의 과정을 실행하였다. 연구 결과 도서관 프로젝트학습에서 학습자의 학습동기와 메타인지의 관계는 통계적으로 유의한 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 도서관 프로젝트학습은 학습자의 메타인지와 밀접한 연관이 있다고 할 수 있다.

The purpose of this study was to empirically verify the influence of socio-demographic variables, leisure motivation, and leisure barriers on leisure participation of married women, and provide a basis for the development of leisure education. The subject of this study were 422 married women and interviewed with a questionnaire. The data were analyzed by SPSS/PC＋ program for the frequency, mean, standard deviation, Crdnbach's $\alph$$\alpha$ , and regression. The major results of this study were as follows: 1. The score of self-developmental motivation, time and expenses barriers, which was the highest among the other variables. Married women frequently participate in time spending activities. 2. Frequencies of leisure participation differ according to socio-demographic variables, leisure motivation and leisure barriers. 3. The score of relative contribution of leisure barriers on leisure participation was the highest among the other variables.

The purpose of this study was to examine the role of cognitive conflict in the conceptual change process. Ninety-seven high school students in Korea participated in this study. Before instruction, we conducted pretests to measure learning motivation and learning strategies. During instruction, we tested the students' preconceptions about Newton's 3rd Law and presented demonstrations. After this, we tested the students' cognitive conflict levels and provided students learning sessions in which we explained the results of the demonstrations. After these learning sessions, we tested the students' state learning motivation and state learning strategy. Posttests and delayed posttests were conducted with individual interviews. The result shows that cognitive conflict has direct/indirect effects on the conceptual change process. However, the effects of cognitive conflict are mediated by other variables in class, such as state learning motivation and state learning strategy. In addition, we found that there was an optimal level of cognitive conflict in the conceptual change process. We discuss the complex role of cognitive conflict in conceptual change, and the educational implications of these findings.

Recently occupational safety and health literatures begin to emphasize the influence of social, organizational or psychological context. Based on this research trend, this paper tried to review the relationship between safety climates and safety compliance. Based on the responses from 385 manufacturing workers, this paper reviewed the relationships among safety climates, safety motivation, and safety compliance. The results of statistical analysis showed that all safety climate factors(management involvement, leadership, safety training, precaution activities, safety system) have affirmative effects on safety motivation and safety compliance. Also, safety motivation appeared to have mediating effects on the relationship between 5 safety climate factors and safety compliance. Especially it appeared to have full mediating effects on the relationship between safety training/ safety system and safety compliance.
