Previous studies have found that the use or development of theory in library and information science (LIS) research is comparatively low and may be trending downward. LIS has also been criticized for relying on theories imported from other disciplines rather than applying or developing theories from within. The theory of information worlds, a social information behavior theory originally introduced in 2008, represents a newer LIS theory whose level of adoption is understudied. This study features a systematic literature review of peer-reviewed research articles which cited or used the theory of information worlds from 2008 to early 2022 to identify trends related to levels of theory use, publication venues, author affiliations, countries, and collaborations, as well as research methods, topics, and populations. Findings suggest that both awareness and use of the theory of information worlds are positively trending, though at slower rates for higher levels of theory use, such as full applications of the theory to guide the collection and analysis of empirical data. The theory has also been used by researchers from around the world and across disciplines, most often with mixed and qualitative methods. While the growth of a new LIS theory is promising, the authors echo calls for increased use and development of the theory of information worlds, and other LIS theories more broadly, and as more interdisciplinary collaboration.

The Generative Adversarial Networks, as one of the most creative deep learning models in recent years, has achieved great success in computer vision and natural language processing. It uses the game theory to generate the best sample in generator and discriminator. Recently, many deep learning models have been applied to the security field. Along with the idea of "generative" and "adversarial", researchers are trying to apply Generative Adversarial Networks to the security field. This paper presents the development of Generative Adversarial Networks. We review traditional generation models and typical Generative Adversarial Networks models, analyze the application of their models in natural language processing and computer vision. To emphasize that Generative Adversarial Networks models are feasible to be used in security, we separately review the contributions that their defenses in information security, cyber security and artificial intelligence security. Finally, drawing on the reviewed literature, we provide a broader outlook of this research direction.

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to assess the effects of raloxifene in prevention of cardiovascular disease in postmenopausal women. Methods: A systematic literature review was conducted. Data sources: The existing literature from 1986 to 2009 was searched electronically using the data base of Medline with the key words of hypertension, obesity, diabetes, cholesterol, lipid, myocardial infarction, coronary events with combination of raloxifene. Study selection: The criteria for inclusion in the review were 1) an randomized clinical trial (RCT), 2) postmenopausal women, 3) English or Korean language. Finally, 15 articles were included in the review. Data extraction: Findings from the studies were organized according to the results of lipid profile changes by two authors. Results: Among 15 articles, 12 studies reported the beneficial effects of raloxifene on LDL cholesterol and 9 studies on total cholesterol in the postmenopausal women. Conclusion: The consistent results on reduction of LDL cholesterol and total cholesterol in raloxifene using postmenopausal women were confirmed. However, the effect of raloxifene on other components of lipid profile and endothelial function were still remaining controversial.

The purpose of this study is to clarify the roles of laboratory work in school. Twenty-one literatures were identified about roles of laboratory work in school by applying criteria such as published in CI level journals or used as a reference over 100 times during 1960-2017. Twenty-one literatures were reviewed according to periods such as 1960-1989, 1990-2003, and 2004-2017, and identified the roles of laboratory work in school that commonly presented in more than two literature. Seven roles of laboratory work in school identified were as follows (a) learning scientific knowledge, (b) enhancing attitude toward science, (c) learning scientific inquiry methods, (d) acquiring skills to use specific laboratory instruments, (e) enhancing scientific attitude, (f) understanding the nature of science(NOS), and (g) providing opportunity to experience natural or scientific phenomena. The results of this study can be used to provide school teachers and students a clear meaning of the roles of laboratory work in school.

이 연구는 국립중앙도서관의 근대문학자료 서비스를 중기 및 장기적으로 링크드 데이터 기반으로 전환하여 서비스하는 방안을 제시하였다. 이는 근대문학자료 서비스를 단순히 현재의 기술적 트렌드인 링크드 데이터로 전환하기 위한 것이 아니라 장기적으로 외부의 다양한 데이터, 정보원과 지속적인 연결관계를 갖고 자동화된 기계처리가 가능한 고품질의 원천데이터를 만들고자 하는 데 있다. 이를 위해서 본 논문에서는 근대문학자료의 서비스 활성화와 유관기관과의 효율적인 데이터 연계를 해결하기 위해서 링크드 데이터를 채택한 해외의 다양한 도서관 및 서지 서비스 사례들을 먼저 검토하여 시사점을 도출하였다. 그리고 검토한 시사점을 기반으로 데이터 관리, 시스템관리, 이용자서비스 관점에서 근대문학자료 서비스의 개편 방안을 구체적으로 제안하였다.

Recently, research in blockchain technology has grown in popularity. Most of these researches have pointed out designing and improving conceptual structures to create digital systems that are more secure, accessible, and effective. Although blockchain offers a wide range of advantages, it also has some pitfalls. This research aims to present an understanding of the properties of blockchain, the advantages, pitfalls, and applications based on blockchain technology. To achieve the goal of understanding blockchain technology concepts, a systematic literature review approach was introduced. 93 papers were chosen and reviewed in total. Therefore, this research provides a summary of recent studies that have been published in the field of blockchain. Moreover, we have created concept maps and tables that aid in a deep understanding of blockchain technology concepts and exhibit some of the blockchain applications. In blockchain-based applications, we focused on two areas, namely the Internet of Things (IoT) and healthcare.

Purpose: The Purpose of this study was to analyze the trends of research related with oriental nursing. Method: 124 articles about oriental nursing from 1990 to July 2003 were analyzed according to the articles' characteristics, sources by publication period, research design, nursing intervention effect of experimental study and concept, and content of literature review. Result: 1. The number of studies related with oriental nursing has progressively increased by year from 1990, and that of articles was the highest during the period between 1995 to 1999. 2. The majority of research design were survey and correlational studies, and most of them were published in the before 2000. But experimental design were used in the after 2000. 3. Nursing intervention used in the experimental design were Dan Jeon Breathing, Qigong, Yoga, Guided Imagery, Aroma therapy, San-Yin-Jiao(SP-6) Pressure, Percutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation, Massage(Meridian Point, hand, foot, etc.) Chuna- Bed Exercise Program. Diet for Sasang Constitution etc. 4. The key concept of literature review articles is ki(energy), oriental nursing, health promotion, oriental medicine management of illness etc. Conclusion: The summary of the above results shows a tendency that the study has increased by year. Especially, experimental study proved affirmative effect. Besides in the literature review, inquiry of theories and practical perspective, which is necessary for the establishment of oriental nursing was introduced. However, for the establishment of oriental nursing, more experimental and qualitative studies are to be required.

본 연구의 목적은 다양한 학문 및 전문분야 연구자들의 정보이용행태에 관련된 선행연구들을 조사하여 이용자들의 요구를 반영한 효과적인 정보서비스를 위한 기초자료를 제공하는데 있다. 1970년대부터 2014년까지 수행된 정보이용행태와 밀접하게 관련이 있는 국내 연구들을 중심으로 조사하였으며, 과학기술, 사회과학, 그 외 기타분야로 구분하여 기존 연구들의 연구방법, 대상, 변인, 그리고 결과에 중점을 두고 분석하였다. 선행연구에서 사용한 연구방법은 설문조사와 같은 정량적 방법을 주로 사용하였으며, 정보이용 목적, 정보요구, 정보이용 유형, 만족도 등의 분석 변수가 공통적으로 사용되었다. 각 분야의 연구자들은 디지털 환경에 따른 정보이용의 변화를 보이는 가운데, 주제분야, 신분 및 직위 등에 따라서 정보요구 및 이용행태가 다르게 나타나 이용자 특성을 고려한 차별화된 정보서비스를 제안하였다.

The purpose and hypothesis of the article was the need to solve the following research tasks: Analysis of psychological and pedagogical literature on the research problem. To identify and experimentally test the effectiveness of organizational and pedagogical conditions affecting the creative self-development of a distance learning student. Research methods: analysis of philosophical and psychological-pedagogical literature on the problem under study; pedagogical experiment; modeling, questioning, testing, analysis of the products of students' creative activity (essays, creative works, creative projects) and the implementation of educational tasks, conversations, observations.

Dynamic Bandwidth Allocation (DBA) methods in telecommunication network & systems have emerged with mechanisms for sharing limited resources in a rapidly growing number of users in today's access networks. Since the DBA research trends are incredibly fast-changing literature where almost every day new areas and terms continue to emerge. Co - citation analysis offers a significant support to researchers to distinguish intellectual bases and potentially leading edges of a specific field. We present the visualization based analysis for DBA algorithms in telecommunication field using mainstream co-citation analysis tool-CiteSpace and web of science (WoS) analysis. Research records for the period of decade (2009-2018) for this analysis are sought from WoS. The visualization results identify the most influential DBA algorithms research studies, journals, major countries, institutions, and researchers, and indicate the intellectual bases and focus entirely on DBA algorithms in the literature, offering guidance to interested researchers on more study of DBA algorithms.
