자기조절 집단상담이 초등학교 고학년 학생의 자기조절능력과 학교생활 만족도에 미치는 영향 (The Influence of Self-Regulatory Group Counseling on Self- regulation and Satisfaction with School Life of the Higher grade Students in Elementary School)

  • This thesis aims to examine the influences of self-regulatory group counseling on self-regulation and school life satisfaction of the higher grade students in Elementary school. To achieve this aim, the following research questions were posed: First, What kind of influence does the self-regulatory group counseling have on the self- regulation of the higher grade students in Elementary school. Second, What kind of influence does the self-regulatory group counseling have on school life satisfaction scale of the higher grade students in Elementary school. In order to verify these research questions, the self-regulation test and school life satisfaction scale were conducted to both the experimental group and control group in pre-test, next, self-regulatory group counseling was practiced to the experimental group. And finally, a post-test was given to both the experimental group and control group. For this study, 200 students from 6th-grader of S Elementary school located in Incheon were given the self-regulation test and chosen 50 students who received low marks. Then, 50 students were researched into the school life satisfaction scale and chosen 16 students who got average-below score again. It was two matching groups through consideration of their score of the school life satisfaction scale, 8 students were arranged to the experimental group and the rest to the control group. The Self-Regulatory Group Counseling program developed by Eun Hyuck-gi(1999). The program was based on the following three programs: "The development. of the Cognitive-Behavioral Counseling therapy and their reports" by Kim HyeSuk(1996), Group counseling" by Brigman and Early(1991) and the study on the improving program in human relation" by Park KyeongAe(1998). The Self-Regulatory Group Counseling program activity was conducted during 6 weeks. Each session was 60 minutes and it continued for 8 sessions. The data collected to find out a difference in self-regulation and the degree of school life satisfaction between the experimental and control groups were processed by means of SPSSWIN program, and the post-test between both the groups were comparatively analyzed through t-test, a mean difference test. The following conclusions were drawn from the results of this study. First, the self-regulatory group counseling program has obvious effect of improving the self-regulation of the higher grade students in Elementary school. Second, the self-regulatory group counseling program has obvious effect of improving the school life satisfaction of the higher grade students in Elementary school. Particularly, this study shows statistical significance in cognitive facts of the self-regulation and the degrees of satisfaction with general school life, teacher, friend and facilities. Since the self-regulatory group counseling program has positive effects on self-regulation and satisfaction with their school life, It is required to utilize the structured self-regulatory group counseling program in school more widely to help students.

남녀 고등학생의 부모통제 및 학교생활만족도와 교복만족도의 관계 연구 (A Study on the Relationship between the Student Satisfaction Level of School Uniforms Compared to the Amount of Parental Control and Their School Life Satisfaction)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the differences of the satisfaction with school uniforms according to demographic variables and to investigate the causal relations of parental control, school life satisfaction, and demographic variables to the satisfaction with school uniform. The research method was a survey method using a questionnaire. The subjects were 407 high school students (191 male, and 216 female) residing in Seoul and the suburbs of Seoul. Students were very satisfied with the convenience of not having to choose what to wear every morning, but the satisfactions with uniform cost and design were lower. The aesthetic, psychological, and status symbol satisfaction of school uniforms were higher as parents and adolescents had more communication, and the psychological and status symbol satisfaction of school uniforms were higher as the level of parental supervision for adolescents was higher. The female students had higher psychological satisfaction with school uniforms than the male students were. The aesthetic satisfaction of school uniforms was lower as mother's education level was higher. The adolescents from upper class families had lower aesthetic, psychological, and status symbol satisfaction with school uniforms than the adolescents from middle and lower class families. The satisfaction with school uniform was influenced by school life satisfaction the most, and the next in the order by grade (-), the social class (-), and the communication with parents. The factors that influenced school life satisfaction for students were parental supervision, school records, the discipline consistency of parents, and their communication with their parents. Therefore, the 4 variables had indirect effect on the satisfaction with school uniform through school life satisfaction.

중학생의 정서지능, 연예인 우상화가 학교생활적응에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Emotional Intelligence and Entertainer Idolization on School Life Adjustment in Middle School Students)

  • This study examined the effects of emotional intelligence and entertainer idolization on school life adjustment of middle school students. For this study, questionnaires were administered to 300 first graders attending three different middle schools. The results were analyzed using correlation and hierarchical regression analysis with SPSS/PC window program. The results were as follows. Firstly, general trends of emotional intelligence showed a slightly higher than average score. The score of entertainer idolization was relatively low and the characteristic factor score was higher than the assessment factor score. For school life adjustment, the factor having the highest influence was relationship with friends. Secondly, the most influential factor on school life adjustment was emotional regulation, followed by academic grades, emotional recognition, emotional expression, and empathy. In conclusion, the level of entertainer idolization in middle school students was moderate. The important influential factors on school life adjustment were emotional intelligence factors and academic grades. In particular, emotional regulation was found to have the greatest influence.

Improvement of Enzymatic Stability and Catalytic Efficiency of Recombinant Fusariumoxysporum Trypsin with Different N-Terminal Residues Produced by Pichiapastoris

  • Fusarium oxysporum trypsin (FOT) is a fungal serine protease similar to mammal trypsin. The FOT could be successfully expressed in Pichiapastoris by engineering the natural propeptide APQEIPN. In this study, we constructed two recombinant enzymes with engineered amino acid sequences added to the N-terminus of FOT and expressed in P. pastoris. The N-terminal residues had various effects on the structural and functional properties of trypsin. The FOT, and the recombinants TE (with peptide YVEF) and TS (with peptide YV) displayed the same optimum temperature ($40^{\circ}C$) and pH (8.0). However, the combinants TE and TS showed significantly increased thermal stability at $40^{\circ}C$ and $50^{\circ}C$. Moreover, the combinants TE and TS also showed enhanced tolerance of alkaline pH conditions. Compared with those of wild-type FOT, the intramolecular hydrogen bonds and the cation ${\pi}$-interactions of the recombinants TE and TS were significantly increased. The recombinants TE and TS also had significantly increased catalytic efficiencies (referring to the specificity constant, $k_{cat}/K_m$), 1.75-fold and 1.23-fold than wild-type FOT. In silico modeling analysis uncovered that the introduction of the peptides YVEF and YV resulted in shorter distances between the substrate binding pocket (D174, G198, and G208) and catalytic triad (His42, Asp102, and Ser180), which would improve the electron transfer rate and catalytic efficiency. In addition, N-terminal residues modification described here may be a useful approach for improving the catalytic efficiencies and characteristics of other target enzymes.

청소년의 외모만족도, 자기효능감 및 학교생활적응 간의 관계 (Relationships among Appearance Satisfaction, Self-Efficacy, and School Life Adaptation of Adolescent)

  • 본 연구는 청소년 외모만족도, 자기효능감 및 학교생활적응 간의 관계를 살펴봄으로써 자기효능감과 학교생활적응을 증진시키고, 외모에 대한 올바른 사고를 갖도록 하기 위한 방법을 모색하는데 도움을 주고자 수행되었다. 연구대상은 C시 소재 3개 고등학교 재학생 199명이었으며, 자료는 2012년 9월 21일부터 9월 25일까지 설문지를 이용하여 수집하였다. 자료의 분석은 SPSS 20.0 프로그램을 이용하여 기술통계, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficient로 분석하였다. 연구결과 대상자의 외모만족도, 자기효능감 및 학교생활적응 정도는 중간정도였고, 대상자의 외모만족도는 성별에 따라 차이를 보였으며, 여학생이 남학생보다 높았다. 학교생활적응은 경제수준에 따라 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 보였다. 대상자의 외모만족도와 자기효능감은 학교생활적응과 통계적으로 유의한 순 상관관계를 나타내었다. 따라서 청소년의 학교생활 적응을 높이기 위한 중재 프로그램 계획 시에는 성별을 고려하면서 외모만족과 자기효능감을 함께 증진시킬 수 있는 방안을 고려하여 개발할 필요가 있다.

Lipoteichoic Acid Isolated from Weissella cibaria Increases Cytokine Production in Human Monocyte-Like THP-1 Cells and Mouse Splenocytes

  • Lactic acid bacteria (LAB) have beneficial effects on intestinal health and skin diseases. Lipoteichoic acid (LTA), a cell wall component of gram-positive bacteria, is known to induce the production of several cytokines such as TNF-α, IL-1β, and IL-8 and affect the intestinal microflora, anti-aging, sepsis, and cholesterol level. In this study, Weissella cibaria was isolated from Indian dairy products, and we examined its immune-enhancing effects. Live and heat-killed W. cibaria did not induce the secretion of immune-related cytokines, whereas LTA isolated from W. cibaria (cLTA) significantly increased the secretion of TNF-α, IL-1β, and IL-6 in a dose-dependent manner. cLTA increased the phosphorylation of nuclear factor kappa-light-chain-enhancer of activated B cells, p38 mitogen-activated protein kinases, and c-Jun N-terminal kinases in THP-1 cells. The secretion of TNF-α and IL-6 was also increased in the cLTA-treated mouse splenocytes. These results suggest that cLTA, but not W. cibaria whole cells, has immune-boosting potential and can be used to treat immunosuppression diseases.
