학교도서관이 학교에서 핵심적인 교육요소로서 제 역할을 다하기 위해서는 교사의 학교도서관의 역할에 대한 적절한 인식이 필요하다. 그러나 지금까지 학교도서관에서 교사인식은 외부 환경 요인으로 간주되어 왔다. 이에 본 연구는 교사의 학교도서관 인식이 학교도서관 요인에 의해 형성되었음을 전제로 하고, 그 요소들을 파악하는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 초등학교 교사를 대상으로 조사한 설문 데이터를 통계적으로 분석하여 학교도서관과 교사인식 간의 관계를 검증하였다. 그 결과, 교사의 학교도서관에 대한 일반적인 인식은 비교과교육적이고, 이는 학교도서관의 활동에 영향을 받는 것으로 나타났으며, 따라서 학교도서관이 통제 가능한 요소로 판단되었다. 본 연구는 학교 교사의 학교도서관에 대한 인식을 도서관의 관점에서 적극적으로 해석하여 그 인식에 영향을 미치는 학교도서관 요인을 파악함으로써 교사인식의 개선방안을 학교도서관 활동에서 모색하였다는 점에서 그 의의가 있다.

Gyeonggi Province is trying to increase the number of public libraries from 100 as of December, 2006 to 150 in 2010. However most of existing public libraries preferred mid-to-large scale libraries, so they were restricted to be located in around a zone of life. For this reason most local residents have been excluded from right to use libraries and have difficulties to get library services for the knowledge and information society of the 21st century. The alternative to the small library is a school library. Both schools and public libraries are located in around a zone of life because residents can get an access to them easily. First, considering that small-scale public libraries of communities usually service about 10,000-20,000 people, I estimate that an open-style school library services 24class, 840people (24class*35people) of elementary school by 2003 Korean Library Standard (edited by Korean Library Association). Second, it requires systematic protection policies so that the open-style school of library can function as a local public library and a part of library cooperation system in accordance with local plans. All the open-style school libraries don't intend to open and we had better consider the suitable service areas. Third, it's desired for the management efficiency that the open-style school libraries being established afterward are divided into a branch-scale, a hall-scale and so on, not being uniform management model. And it also needs that one of them in the area enlarges the scale, and then supports other school libraries. According to these results of the research, as cooperation between the public library policy of a local government and school library policy, it needs a systematic support.

In contemporary education, a school library is considered and valued as a vital and integral component of a school's instructional program. Especially, school library materials should contribute to execution of school curriculums through wide provision of resources. The results of the study are as follows. 1. The term 'library materials' should be changed into 'library resources' with a broad meaning. And, the scope of school library materials should include printed materials, audio-visual materials, electronic materials, associated equipment and other library resources. 2. It is desirable that the minimal standards of total collection is 5 books and 3 AV for a student in elementary schools, 7 books and 5 AV for a student in middle schools, 10 books and 7 AV for a student in high schools. 3. Annual growth is 0.5 for a student in elementary schools, 1 for a student in middle schools and 1.5 copy for a student in high schools. And, the number of minimal serials is 20 titles in elementary schools, 30 titles in middle schools and 50 tides in high schools. 4. Besides, basic collection, with the advances of technology, the school library collection should include new formats and delivery systems such as CD, video discs, videotex, computer software, satellite transmission etc. 5. The recommendable annual ratio of withdrawl is 3 to 5% for update and functional materials.

본 연구의 목적은 단위 학교에서 학교도서관의 지역사회 개방에 필요한 기본 여건을 자체적으로 판단할 수 있는 평가 지표를 제공하는 것이다. 학교도서관의 지역사회 개방은 학습공동체 형성에 기여할 수 있는 중요한 운영 전략이다. 그러나 학교도서관의 운영 자원과 지원 체제는 지역사회 개방을 위한 충분한 조건을 갖추고 있지 못한 실정이다. 지역사회 개방 경험을 가진 사서교사들은 주요 운영 자원 중에서 사서교사 배치를 가장 중요한 성공 요인으로 지적하였다. 그리고 안정적이고 체계적인 서비스 제공을 위한 인건비 확보, 지역주민의 접근성을 보장할 수 있는 시설과 자료의 확보가 중요하다고 보았다. 마지막으로 학교도서관의 교육적 역할 가운데서 지역사회에 제공하기에 가장 적합한 것은 독서 프로그램인 것으로 나타났다.

본 연구에서는 전통적인 도서관이용교육과 독서교육 그리고 정보활용교육을 종합적으로 운영할 수 있는 전략으로서 교육과정의 내용 체계 즉, 범위와 계열을 설정하였다. 한국과 일본 그리고 미국에서 적용되고 있는 정보활용교육의 사례를 비교${\cdot}$분석하고, 분석 내용을 바탕으로 정보활용교육을 위한 교육과정의 범위와 계열을 설정하였다. 새롭게 설정한 정보활용교육의 범위와 계열은 정보활용교육의 모형에서 추출한 5대 기능과 과정을 근간으로 하였으며, 전통적인 도서관이용교육과 독서교육의 내용을 수용하였다. 또한, 모든 정보매체와 정보텍스트의 형식, 정보활용의 과정과 전략, 정보의 체계 및 구조를 종합적으로 지도할 수 있도록 편성하였으며, 초등학교 저학년(1-3), 고학년(4-6), 중학교(1-3), 고등학교(1-3)로 구분하여 교육내용에 따른 계열을 설정하였다.

본 연구는 학교도서관 인적자원 배치에 관한 현황 분석과 인적자원의 직무만족 실태 분석을 통해 효과적인 학교도서관 경영을 위한 인적자원 배치 방안의 제시와 인적자원의 직무만족에 영향을 미치는 요인을 규명하였다. 이를 위해 학교도서관 인적자원의 배치에 관한 법률적, 통계적 자료를 고찰하였고, 직무만족도 조사를 위하여 전국 327명의 학교도서관 인적자원을 대상으로 2006년 12월 1일부터 12월 31일에 걸쳐 질문지를 발송하여 회수한 254개의 질문지를 분석에 사용하였다. 분석한 결과, 학교급, 근무경력, 고용구분에 따라 인적자원의 직무만족도에 유의미한 차이가 있음이 검증되었다. 검증된 결과를 근거로 효과적인 학교도서관 경영을 위한 인적자원의 배치율과 직무만족을 향상시키기 위한 방안을 제시하였다.

2002년 교육인적자원부가 발표한 "학교도서관 활성화 종합방안"에 힘입어 학교도서관 활성화에 박차를 가하고 있는 때이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 다양한 독서 흥미유발 프로그램을 통해 학교도서관 활성화를 꾀하고 있는 미국 학교도서관의 프로그램들을 국가적 차원의 독서 진흥책, 상업적 지원의 독서 흥미유발 프로그램, 컴퓨터 테스트를 이용한 독서 흥미유발 프로그램, 주 차원 그리고 각 학교의 독서 흥미유발 프로그램으로 나누어 소개하고 이를 우리나라에 적용할 수 있는 방안을 모색해보고자 하였다.

본 연구는 일본의 학교도서관에서 정보활용교육이 시대적 변화에 따라 어떻게 전개되어 왔는지를 밝히고, 역사적 변천을 통해 형성된 최근 동향에 대한 심층적인 분석을 목적으로 하였다. 이를 위해 관련연구, 전국학교도서관협의회의 간행물, 학습지도요령 등을 검토하였다. 연구 결과, 일본 학교도서관의 정보활용교육은 1940년대 후반 이후 도서관 이용지도의 도입기, 1950년대 후반 이후 지도방법의 모색기, 1980년대 이후 정보리터러시교육의 확립기, 2000년대 이후 탐구학습으로의 확대기를 거쳐 발전해 온 것으로 나타났다.

The purpose of this study Is to verify relationship between leadership styles ( consideration leadership and Initiating structure leadership) and Job satisfaction In university libraries. The conclusions in this study are summarized as follows： 1. Correlations between leadership styles and job satisfaction are positive. Consideration leadership is higher correlation than initiating structure leadership. 2. Leadership styles have affected on Job satis-faction (promotion, task, salary, superior, fellow) differently. Consideration leadership is higher influenced than initiating structure leadership except satisfaction of task. 3. It is no difference that leadership styles have affected on job satisfaction by a characteristic(sex, school career, librarian's license) of person. As consideration leadership is higher correlation and influence than initiating structure leadership, leader should have done consideration leadership and then library's staffs can get job satisfaction in order to achieve job satisfaction, leader had better show consideration leadership regardless of sex. school career and librarian's license. leadership styles have influenced Job satisfaction differently. It shows indirectly that library's staffs are not discriminated by sex, school career and librarian's license.

이 연구는 우리나라 학교도서관 비정규직 인력 문제에 대해 구조적인 관점으로 살펴보고 정리하였다. 비정규적 인력이 확대된 배경과 계기를 살펴보고 비정규직 인력의 직무상 주요 문제점들을 검토하였다. 그리고 비정규직 인력 문제의 표면과 이면의 내용과 구조를 체계적으로 탐구하여 문제의 성격과 내적 갈등 양상을 확인하였다. 이를 바탕으로 현재 제안되거나 진행되고 있는 비정규직 인력 문제의 해결 방안에 대해 점검하고 문제 해결을 위해 요청되는 기본적인 자세를 제안하였다.
