오늘날 전문적 지식에 대한 시민 요구의 증가, 학계의 시민참여 연구 확대, 전문적 지식에 대한 정보서비스의 제공에도 불구하고, 여전히 비전문적 일반인이 학술정보자원에 접근하는 데에 어려움이 있는 것으로 파악된다. 본 연구는 이에 주목하여 학술정보자원에 대한 일반인의 정보요구와 정보행위를 설문조사를 통해 조사하였다. 학술정보자원의 탐색 및 이용행태, 학술정보자원 활용에 대한 지원 필요성에 관한 인식이 조사되었으며, 이를 통해 학술정보자원이 학술 커뮤니티를 넘어 사회적으로 공유되는 정도와 양상을 분석하였다. 본 연구는 전통적인 학술 커뮤니케이션에서의 이용자 범위를 확대하여, 이들을 위한 학술정보자원에의 접근과 이용 확대 지원의 필요성을 강조한 초기 연구라는 점에서 의의를 찾을 수 있다.

본 연구는 학술연구 성과물의 개방과 공유 활동의 국제적인 흐름에 호응하고, 국민들의 학술연구 정보의 자유로운 접근을 보장하기 위한 오픈액세스시스템의 주제기반 온라인 학술 커뮤니티의 성공적인 운영모형을 제시하는 것을 목표로 한다. 이를 위한 세부적인 연구내용은 다음과 같이 네 영역으로 나누어 진행하였다. 첫째는 커뮤니티와 온라인 커뮤니티의 개념과 특성, 주요 성공 요인에 대한 일반적 분석이다. 둘째는 널리 알려진 온라인 학술 커뮤니티인 KISTI의 과학기술 학회마을, 생물학연구정보센터, MIT의 DSpace를 대상으로 기능적인 요소와 구체적인 성공요인을 분석하였다. 셋째, 이들 사례의 주요 기능과 성공요인을 토대로 오픈액세스시스템의 핵심기능인 커뮤니티 서비스에 대한 주요기능을 도출하였다. 넷째, 국내연구자들을 대상으로 커뮤니티 서비스의 기능 요구도와 참여의지를 설문으로 통해 조사, 분석하였다. 그 결과 온라인 커뮤니티 서비스의 주요 기능은 30-40대의 인문사회계열연구자들에게 초점을 맞추어 특히'연구성과물 관리 기능', '이슈 리포트 게시 기능', '연구 사업 정보 통합 제공 기능' 등을 우선적으로 제공하여야 할 것으로 나타났다.

This paper overviews the historical background and development of applied nutrition and community nutrition in Korea. The nutrition studies in the early years focused on animal experiments, human metabolism, and food analysis and therefore were limited to classrooms and research laboratories in universities without spreading into the lives of people. Korean specialists trained through the UN International Course of Applied Nutrition initiated the Applied Nutrition Program (ANP) in Korea in the 1960s. The ANP in Korea was effectively implemented until 1986 with support from UNICEF, FAO, and WHO as a national project to improve the nutrition and health of rural residents. With economic development and urbanization in Korea, the rural-focusing ANP was re-born to a more extended version with the name of "Community Nutrition", targeting the nutrition and health of the entire Korean population. Scholarly associations including the Korean Society of Community Nutrition established in 1995 have significantly contributed to the development of Community Nutrition in Korea and are expected to continue to work for a better connection between nutrition and health promotion.

The University Press, as a publishing division of the university, is a high quality and low cost scholarly communication system. In contrast to European and American university presses, Korean university presses publish very small amount of books. So the author took a case study of the Pusan National University Press(PNUP). She interviewed with faculty who had published or were going to publish. And then she analyzed why or why not the faculty at the Pusan National University selected PNUP as a publisher. On the basis Of the results, she identified problems of the PNUP and she made an activating program that can be a n.0, pplied to most of Korean university presses. This program involved setting up the mission of the press; a n.0, ppointing a professional to the staff and establishing a fund; encouraging high quality scholarly publishing, refined bookmaking and positive marketing; and increasing the expense of the library and improving community su n.0, pport of the university press.

전자저널을 비롯한 전자출판물의 확산으로 최근 학술커뮤니케이션은 새로운 국면을 맞고 있다. 이 연구는 전자저널이 학술커뮤니케이션에 어느정도 영향을 미치고 있는지를 인용분석에 기초한 영향력 측정 지표인 영향지수(impact factor)와 즉효지수(immediacy index)를 이용하여 분석하였다. 구체적으로는 JCR의 사회과학편에서 경제학, 법학, 심리학 학술지의 최근 8년간 영향지수와 즉효지수를 수집하여 연도별 추이를 분석하였다. 분석결과 세 학문분야 모두 연도별 영향지수는 거의 변화가 없는 반면에, 즉효지수는 최근 2년 동안 급격히 상승한 것으로 나타났다. 즉효지수의 상승은 학술지의 논문이 발행되는 즉시 인용되고 있음을 보여주는 것으로 학술지의 발행형식이 최근 전자저널로 급속히 전화된 데 따른 결과인 것으로 유추된다. 아울러 이를 통해 학술커뮤니케이션의 속도가 과거에 비해 증진되었다는 것을 미루어 짐작할 수 있다. 이 연구는 전자저널의 영향 정도를 구체적으로 데이터를 수집해 분석함으로써 향후 도서관에서 과학적인 장서관리를 하는데 일조를 할 것으로 기대된다.

이 연구에서는 국내 문헌정보학 분야 4개 학회 학술지에 2002년부터 2021년까지 20년 동안 게재된 논문 전체의 저자를 분석하여 국내 문헌정보학 학술지를 통한 학술 커뮤니케이션 현황을 고찰하고 향후 전망을 제시하는 것을 목표로 한다. 이를 위해서 학술지별 공저자 수, 귀환저자 비율, 투고선호지수, 저자집단 변화 추세, 연구자 유인지수 등을 분석하였다. 분석 결과 4개 학술지의 공동연구 수준, 학술지별로 연관된 저자집단의 형성 정도, 저자집단이 변화된 변곡점, 신진 연구자 집단의 특성, 학술지 간 저자 공유 정도 등이 파악되었다. 전체적으로 2015년이 한국 문헌정보학 저자집단이 변화한 변곡점으로 나타났으며, 이후에 등장한 신진 연구자들은 주로 공동연구를 수행하면서 이전과 다소 다른 학술지 논문발표 행태를 보였다. 계량분석을 수행한 이 연구의 결과가 질적 연구방법을 사용한 선행 연구와 함께 활용된다면 한국 문헌정보학 학술지 발전 전략에 대한 다각화 연구를 수행한 효과를 거둘 것으로 기대된다.

최근 국내외에서는 저널 구독 비용의 증가와 도서관 예산의 삭감, 그리고 대학 및 국가 지식관리의 필요성 등이 제기되면서 누구나 자유롭게 접근할 수 있는 온라인 액세스 기반의 기관 레포지터리 시스템을 도입하려는 시도가 활발하다. 이에 본 연구에서는 대학학술정보 관리를 위한 온라인 액세스 기반의 기관 레포지터리 서비스 운영방안을 살펴보고자 한다. 이를 위해서 개별기관에서의 기관 레포지터리 서비스 사례를 살펴보고, 이를 바탕으로 전체 운영 단계 및 운영방안을 마련한 후, 학위논문, 교내 간행물, 교내 학술행사, 학술지 논문/연구보고서 등에 적용할 수 있는 현실적인 운영방안을 제시하고자 하였다. 이외에 기관 레포지터리 운영시 발생할 수 있는 지적재산권 사항을 살펴보았다.

최근 국내에서 학술논문의 발표와 관련하여 발생되고 있는 표절시비는 학계 차원에서 나름대로 대처방안을 마련하고 있지만, 정부차원에서도 국제적 수준의 연구윤리를 확보하려는 문제로 다루어지기 시작하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 국내 외 문헌을 통해 문헌정보학적 시각에서 학술논문을 작성하는데 있어서 인용과 표절에 대한 정의를 비롯한 기본적인 내용 등을 살펴보고자 한다. 본 연구의 결과로서 다음과 같은 사항들을 세부적으로 조사 분석하여 정리하고 있다. 첫째 학술논문에 있어서 표절의 유형과 문제점 등을 다루고, 둘째, 학술논문 작성에 있어서의 인용 방식을 비교 분석하며, 셋째, 표절에 대한 대응 및 올바른 인용 방식 등을 제시하고 있다.

Purpose: The purpose of this paper is to examine the ethical considerations that must be addressed in journals and discern the strategies that will elevate the quality of the journals. Research design, data, and methodology: This study utilized the past studies that were conducted in this field. Examples of journals were used to mark some of the key features of reputable journals, as well as the guidelines for KODISA. Results: This study has showed the importance of ethical considerations in journals for the best interests of the scholars and journal community as a whole. A clear set of outlines makes the journal a place for scholars to share their knowledge, as well as elevate the journal into a good standing in the academic world. Some of the key strategies in improving KODISA include inviting notable members of a field to share their knowledge and encouraging more scholars to contribute to this network. Conclusion: KODISA has a strong set of ethical considerations for the scholars that publish in their journals and will continue to improve its quality for the future. It includes improving its strategies and keeping up to date with the trends in the current field of discipline.

COVID-19 has caused extensive human casualties with significant economic impacts around the globe, and has imposed new challenges on health systems worldwide. Over the past decade, SARS, Ebola, and Zika also led to significant concerns among the scientific community. Interestingly, the SARS and Zika epidemics ended before vaccine development; however, the scholarly community and the pharmaceutical companies responded very quickly at that time. Similarly, when the genetic sequence of SARS-CoV-2 was revealed, global vaccine companies and scientists have stepped forward to develop a vaccine, triggering a race toward vaccine development that the whole world is relying on. Similarly, an effective and safe vaccine could play a pivotal role in eradicating COVID-19. However, few important questions regarding SARS-CoV-2 vaccine development are explored in this review.
