간호대학생의 학업 및 임상실습 스트레스와 전공만족도와의 관계 (Relationship between Academic and Clinical Practice Stress and Major Satisfaction in Nursing Students)

  • 본 연구는 간호대학생의 학업 및 임상실습 스트레스와 전공 만족도의 관계를 확인학기 위하여 시도되었다. 자료는 140명의 B대학교의 간호대학생으로부터 온라인 설문 조사를 통해 수집되었다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 18.0을 사용하여 분석되었다. 일반적인 특성에 따른 학업 및 임상실습 스트레스, 전공 만족도와의 차이를 분석한 결과, 학업 스트레스는 종교와 차이가 있었으며(F=14.348, p<.001), 전공 만족도는 성적에 따라 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다(F=4.582, p=0.004). 학업 스트레스, 임상실습 스트레스 및 전공 만족도의 상관 관계를 분석한 결과, 학업 스트레스는 임상실습 스트레스와 양의 상관관계가 있고(r=.388, p<.01), 임상실습 스트레스는 전공 만족도와 양의 상관 관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다 (r=.336, p<.01). 따라서 간호학 전공의 만족도를 높이기 위해서는 학업 스트레스를 낮추는 프로그램 개발이 필요하다고 판단된다.

간호대학생의 감성지능, 대인관계유능성이 돌봄효능감에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Nursing Students' Emotional Intelligence and Interpersonal Competence on Caring Efficacy)

  • Purpose : This study investigated the effects of nursing students' emotional intelligence and interpersonal competence on their caring efficacy. Methods : This study surveyed 217 junior and senior nursing students from City B in South Korea between June 1 and June 30, 2023. The SPSS 22.0 program was employed to analyze the collected data by computing the frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation, as well as by conducting t-test, ANOVA test, Scheffe's test, Pearson correlation coefficient, and a multivariate regression analysis. Results : The nursing students exhibited an average emotional intelligence of 5.31±.78, interpersonal competence of 3.47±.56, and caring efficacy of 4.02±.62. The students' emotional intelligence showed significant differences in terms of satisfaction with their major (p<.001), satisfaction with the clinical practice (p<.001), satisfaction with their relationship with clinical practice instructors (p=.001), and the standard of living (p=.021). Furthermore, a significant difference in interpersonal competence was observed in terms of the students' satisfaction with their major (p=.003), satisfaction with the clinical practice (p=.001), satisfaction with their relationship with clinical practice instructors (p=.002), and subjective mental health (p=.005). Meanwhile caring efficacy demonstrated a significant difference with regard to the grade level (p=.001), satisfaction with the major (p<.001), satisfaction with the clinical practice (p<.001), satisfaction with their relationship with clinical practice instructors (p=.007), subjective mental health (p<.001), and subjective physical health (p=.047). The factors that affected the caring efficacy included interpersonal competence (p=.002), grade level (p<.001), satisfaction with the major (p=.004), and emotional intelligence (p=.020), all of which together accounted for an explanatory power of 22.3 %. Conclusion : Based on the results of this study, it is evident that further research related to the emotional intelligence, interpersonal competence, and caring efficacy of nursing students must be encouraged in the future. Furthermore efforts should be made to develop appropriate programs aimed at enhancing nursing students' caring efficacy by accounting for their emotional intelligence and interpersonal competence.

임상실습경험 간호대학생의 전공 만족도, 진로결정자율성 및 진로탐색행동의 관계 (Relationship Between Major Satisfaction, Career Decision Autonomy, and Career Search Behavior of Nursing College Students in Clinical Practice Experience)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify a causal relationship among major satisfaction, career decision autonomy, and career search behavior of nursing college students in clinical practice experience. Methods: Data were collected using a self-reported questionnaires from 197 nursing students in S city from December 1 to 23, 2016. These were then analyzed by descriptive statistics, ANOVA, t-test, Pearson correlation coefficient, and multiple regression using SPSS/PC+ program. Results: The results suggest that major satisfaction was correlated with career decision autonomy; likewise, major satisfaction was correlated with career search behavior. The factors influencing career search behavior were grades and major satisfaction. Conclusion: It is necessary to develop a learning method considering interest and aptitude to increase the satisfaction of the major and to apply the various programs to understand the self and the work environment so as to determine how desirable the course will be.

간호대학생의 간호사 이미지 및 전공 만족도가 진로정체감에 미치는 영향: 전문직 자아개념의 매개효과 (Influence of nurse's image and satisfaction with the nursing major on their career identity: The mediating effect of professional self-concept)

  • Purpose: This study aimed to identify the mediating effect of professional self-concept on the relationship between nurse's image and career identity, and between satisfaction with the nursing major and the career identity of nursing students. Methods: This study utilized a descriptive methodology, and 205 nursing students attending three universities in Busan Metropolitan City participated in it. Data were collected from self-reported questionnaires between March 26 and April 30, 2022. Data were analyzed with descriptive statistics, an independent t-test, analysis of variance, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and simple and multiple regression using the IBM SPSS 22.0 program and Sobel test. Results: The mean score of career identity was 2.92±0.57 out of a possible 4. Career identity showed a significantly positive correlation with nurse's image (r=.32, p<.001), satisfaction with major (r=.47, p<.001), and professional self-concept (r=.32, p<.001). Additionally, professional self-concept had a partial mediating effect on the relationship between nurse's image (Z=2.44, p<.001), satisfaction with major (Z=2.35, p<.001), and career identity. Conclusion: The results of the study show professional self-concept had a mediating effect on the relationship between nurse's image, satisfaction with the nursing major, and career identity. Based on the study's results, career identity education programs for nursing students need to include nursing image, satisfaction with major, and professional self-concept.

융복합시대에 생활스트레스가 대학생활만족도와 전공만족도에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Life Stress on University Life Satisfaction and Major Satisfaction Convergence Era.)

  • 융복합시대에 생활스트레스가 대학생활만족도와 전공만족도에 미치는 영향에 대하여 파악하고자 한다. 전라도와 광주광역시에 위치한 대학교의 재학생 364명 대상으로 2018년 4월 2일부터 2018년 4월 23일까지 자기기입식 설문조사를 실시하였다. 일반적 특성에 따른 대학생활 만족도와 전공만족도는 주관적 건강상태의 경우 양호가 가장 높게 나타났다. 생활스트레스 중 대인관계 영역 중에서는 교수관계가 높게 나타났고, 당면과제 영역 중에서는 학업문제가 가장 높게 나타났다. 생활스트레스 전체는 평소 수면시간의 경우 6-8시간이 가장 낮게 나타났다. 대학생활 만족도에 가장 많은 영향을 미치는 요인은 전공만족도 이였다. 전공만족도에 가장 많은 영향을 미치는 요인은 대학생활 만족도이었고, 생활스트레스 정도가 높을수록 전공만족도가 낮게 나타났다. 따라서 대학생들의 생활스트레스 완화될 수 있는 교육 및 프로그램 개발에 기초자료로 활용하고자한다.

치과기공사 이미지와 전공만족도가 치기공과 학생의 중도탈락의도에 미치는 영향 (Influence of dental technicians' image and major satisfaction upon dental technology students' dropout intention)

  • This study was carried out to understand the influence of dental technicians' image and major satisfaction on dental technology students' dropout intention. A questionnaire survey was administered to 273 students in the Department of Dental Technology. Frequency analysis, independent sample t-test, one-way ANOVA, and multiple regression analysis were performed. The results are as follows: The image of dental technicians differed significantly depending on factors such as school year, personality, whether a family member is a dental technician or not, reason for choosing a department, difficulty in one's own academic life, and disciplinary life adaptation (p<0.05). The image of dental technicians was seen to be positively perceived when the respondent had an affirmative personality, or had a dental technician among family members or chose the department for its uniqueness, or found no difficulty in academic life, and adapted well to a situational or environmental change. Major satisfaction of dental technicians was seen a meaningful difference in items such as school year, personality, awareness of dental technicians, reason for choosing a department, the difficulty in own academic life, and the disciplinary life adaptation (p<0.05). Individuals with high major satisfaction and low dropout intention included those with a positive personality, who think affirmatively about dental technicians, who chose a department owing to suiting the aptitude and interest or to the uniqueness of the major. The influential factors on dropout intention included general satisfaction out of major satisfaction, perspective and self-confident image among dental technicians, and an awareness of dental technicians. The establishment of a desirable image of dental technicians and the improvement in major satisfaction are considered likely to contribute to reducing the dropout intention of dental technology students.

치위생학과 학생의 대학생활 적응 정도가 학과 만족에 미치는 영향 (The influence of adaptation of dental hygiene students to campus life on satisfaction in major)

  • Objectives: The purpose of this study was to identify the degree of adaptation of dental hygiene department students to campus life, and to provide basic data to prepare management strategies for effective campus life adaptation. Methods: Three hundred students in the department of dental hygiene in Busan Metropolitan City and Gyeonggi Province were surveyed from October 1 to October 30, 2020 and 291 questionnaires were used in the final data analysis. Results: Better adaptation to campus life was observed in subjects who participated in club activities, possessed an extrovert personality, were well adapted to the dental hygiene department, and had no conflict in interpersonal relationships, thereby showing a significant difference. Regarding the factors affecting the degree of satisfaction with the department, the higher the degree of satisfaction in the major, excellence in major, and coping ability, the higher was the degree of satisfaction with the department. Conclusions: For effective campus life adaptation of the university students as a way to increase the degree of satisfaction with the department, increasing the ability to adapt to campus life through achievement of pride in the major and participation in various interpersonal activities is a possibility. It is necessary to develop a program to create an environment for good adaptation to campus life.

치위생과 학생의 자아탄력성과 자기효능감이 전공만족도에 미치는 영향 (Effect of self-resilience and self-efficiency on the satisfaction with major in dental hygiene students)

  • Objectives : The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of self-resilience and self-efficiency on the satisfaction with major in dental hygiene students. Methods : The data were analyzed by the frequency analysis, one-way ANOVA, Duncan post-hoc analysis, correlation analysis, multiple regression analysis using SPSS 18.0. The subjects were 411 dental hygiene students in A University in Gyeongsangbuk-do and K-University in Gyeongsangnam-do from November 4 to 15, 2013. Results : The satisfaction with major in dental hygiene students showed the positive correlation with self-resilience and self-efficiency. Multiple regression analysis revealed the optimistic attitude towards the self-resilience and self-efficiency. The explanation power was 13%. Conclusions : The self-resilience and self-efficiency had a positive effect on the satisfaction with major. It is necessary to develop the program that can help increase the self-resilience and self-efficiency, and apply such program to the curricula.

간호대학생의 자아존중감, 외모만족도, 전공만족도가 취업스트레스에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Self-efficacy, Appearance Satisfaction in Major on Employment Stress of Nursing College Students)

  • 본 연구는 간호대학생의 자아존중감, 외모만족도, 전공만족도가 취업스트레스에 미치는 영향을 확인하기 위한 서술적 조사연구이다. 본 연구의 대상자는 P시에 있는 4개의 간호학과 재학생 194명을 대상으로 자료를 수집하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS WIN 22.0의 빈도와 백분율, 평균과 표준편차, Pearson's correlation coefficient, multiple regression을 이용하여 분석하였다. 본 연구의 결과 자아존중감 3.40±0.53점, 외모만족도 2.96±0.56점, 전공만족도 3.80±0.61점, 취업스트레스 2.23±0.75점으로 나타났다. 대상자의 일반적 특성에 따른 취업스트레스의 차이는 성별(t=7.40, p=.007), 전공선택동기(F=3.24, p=.023), 대학생활 만족도(F=16.722, p<.001)에서 통계적으로 유의하게 나타났다. 대상자의 취업스트레스는 자아존중감(r=-.433, p<.001), 외모만족도(r=-.307, p<.001), 전공만족도(r=-.534, p<.001)에서 부적 상관관계를 나타냈다. 즉 전공만족도가 높을수록 취업 스트레스가 낮아짐을 알 수 있었다. 대상자의 취업 스트레스에 영향을 주는 변수는 전공만족도(β=-.371, p<.001), 자아존중감(β=-.166, p=.026), 외모만족도(β=-.132, p=.045), 전공선택동기(β=.163,p=.006), 성별(β=.131, p=.033)이었고, 이들 변수의 취업스트레스에 대한 설명력은 35.6%이었다. 본 연구의 결과를 통해 간호대학생의 취업스트레스를 감소시키기 위해서는 전공만족도, 외모만족도, 자아존중감을 높이기 위한 취업역량 강화 프로그램을 개발하는 것이 필요하며, 이 외에도 다양한 영향요인을 탐색하기 위한 반복적 연구가 요구된다.

물리보안 전공 대학생들의 선택 동기가 전공만족도 및 진로결정에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Security Major University Students' Major Selection Motivation on Major Satisfaction and Career Decision)

  • 본 연구는 물리보안전공 대학생들의 전공 선택 동기가 전공만족도 및 진로결정에 미치는 영향을 파악하기 위해 설문조사를 수행하였다. 설문내용은 "첫째, 선택 동기, 둘째, 전공만족도, 셋째, 진로결정"으로 작성하였다. 본 연구에서는 변수의 신뢰도 및 중요도 분석, 탐색적 요인 등을 살펴보기 위해 Chronbach's Alpha 수치를 산출하고 베리맥스(Berimax) 방식을 실시하였다. 측정항목들의 AVE 값과 CR 값 모두 기준치 0.7 이상으로 산출되어 각 항목들의 집중타당성이 우호적인 것으로 조사되었다. 가설검증결과에서 표준화계수를 보면 '선택 동기 ⇨ 전공만족도'는 0.653으로, '전공만족도 ⇨ 진로결정'은 0.403으로 산출되어 두 연구가설은 채택되었으나 '선택 동기 ⇨ 진로결정'은 0.392로 기각되었다. 향후 경호전공 대학생들의 진로결정을 향상시키기 위해서는 선택 동기와 전공만족도를 동시에 높여주기 위해 대학과 관련 교수들의 노력이 더욱 필요해 보인다.
