Purpose - The current study analyzes effects of hotel restaurant cook's emotional labor on job satisfaction and customer orientation. Research design and methodology - In order to achieve the current study's goal, sample was extracted targeting cooks working in 5-stars hotels located in Seoul considering spatial and time limitation. Method of research was direct research method with survey. Survey was conducted from April 1st, 2018 to April 20, 2018 (approximately 20 days). Total of 300 surveys were distributed to cooks working in 5-stars hotels located in Seoul, and among those 250 surveys were returned. Among returned 250 surveys, 246 surveys. Results - First, in order to test H1, effect of hotel restaurant cook's emotional labor on job satisfaction (satisfaction on superior and coworker) was analyzed. Second, in order to test H2, effect on hotel restaurant cook's emotional labor on job satisfaction (satisfaction on compensation and promotion) was analyzed. Third, satisfaction on superior and coworker had statistically significantly positive effect on customer orientation, while satisfaction on compensation and promotion did not have statistically significant effect. Conclusions - First, deep acting had statistically significantly positive effect on job satisfaction (satisfaction on superior and coworker), while surface acting did not have statistically significant effect. Second, both deep and surface acting had statistically significantly positive effect on job satisfaction (satisfaction on compensation and promotion). Third, satisfaction on superior and coworker had statistically significantly positive effect on customer orientation, while satisfaction on compensation and promotion did not have statistically significant effect.
Background : The concept of 'service' in a hospital is based on the quality of medical staffs who serve as customer-satisfying media, and this is what distinguishes general hospitals from other business corporations in which customer satisfaction is achieved through commercial products. Thus, the internal employee satisfaction is essential in the improvement of the 'service' and subsequent 'competitiveness' of a hospital. The purpose of this study is to establish internal marketing strategies for a general hospital through regular surveys on employee satisfaction. Method : Surveys on employee satisfaction in radiology department were conducted regularly twice a year in a university hospital with 800 beds 2001 in 2004. The subjects of this study were 35 employees who work in radiology department. The authors developed the questionnaires and the surveys were conducted initially during the first 6 months of the year. After necessary improvements were made by applying 6 Sigma techniques, subsequent surveys were conducted during the latter 6 months of the year and the degree of employee satisfaction was compared. Results : Overall satisfaction increased with a constant rate and the authors were able to assess that the hospital is being gradually stabilized. The degree of satisfaction assessed by multiple choices showed only minor changes. However, as a result of focusing on the demands put forth by the employees through the open questions, the degree of satisfaction increased gradually year after year. Conclusions : It is important to heighten the internal employee satisfaction systematically and harmoniously through the assessment on the demands of the internal customers and feedback-based communications between the management officers and the staffs. Continuous surveys on the internal employee satisfaction will serve to be valuable materials in the establishment of internal marketing strategies for a general hospital.

Purpose - The current study conducted research on influential relationship of Korea's selected attributes of home replacement foods (HMR) with trust, customer satisfaction, and repurchase intention. Design, data, and methodology - This study was conducted on consumers in Seoul and the metropolitan area (Gyeonggi and Incheon) who have purchased home replacement foods (HMR). The survey was conducted for 30 days from March 1st, 2021 to March 30th, 2021. Among total of 300 surveys distributed, 250 surveys were collected, and 199 surveys, excluding ones with missing value and outliers (51 surveys), were used for analysis. Results - The results empirical analysis based on earlier studies are as follows. First, as a result of analyzing which variables of selection attribute factors of home replacement food (HMR) have an effect on trust, healthiness, reasonable price, and convenience had a positive effect, and quality of food and diversity did not have a significant effect. Second, as a result of analyzing whether trust has a significant effect on customer satisfaction, it was found that it had a positive effect on customer satisfaction. Third, as a result of analyzing whether trust has a significant effect on repurchase intention, it was found to have a positive effect. Fourth, as a result of analyzing whether customer satisfaction has a significant effect on repurchase intention, it was found that customer satisfaction had a positive effect. Conclusions - The current study aims to develop various new products of HMR and establish differentiated marketing techniques tailored to consumer needs.
In order for the consumers of education and university to be mutually communicating well, satisfaction surveys with a correct system are essential. This study points out the causes for insincere responses found in the process of education satisfaction surveys while discussing possible methods to elicit sincere responses from the students. As a result of analyzing S University, it was observed that enforced online evaluation methods did have a high response rate but also monotonously insincere responses showed to have a high ration among them. A second study was carried out in order to improve the research method after confirming the reliability of the research. Study results sowed that through a representative sample survey, monotonous response patterns decreased and the data distribution satisfied normal distribution. Moreover, a focus group interview was carried out in order to understand the root causes and possible solutions to the problem. Lastly, this study revealed the need of diversified attempts and research in order to secure reliability in education satisfaction surveys while proposing methods of improvement.
Purpose - This study centers on field surveys aimed at deriving the customer satisfaction factors of customer support centers that are positioned between suppliers and consumers in the supply chain. They consists of manufacturing, sales, distribution, consumption and collection, and that are in charge of core functions for suppliers' customer satisfaction management and consumers' satisfaction with consuming activities. Research design, data, and methodology - The customer satisfaction factors of customer support centers were derived through literature review and expert opinion surveys, and a questionnaire was developed through a process of the refinement of variables using pilot tests and 330 questionnaire sheets were distributed. The questionnaire sheets were collected and opinions in them were analyzed using fuzzy AHP methodology. Results - Three factors, which are turnover intentions, motivation, and job satisfaction, were derived as customer satisfaction factors of customer support centers, and the ranking relationships of these three factors were analyzed. In addition, the ranking relationships among six execution variables of turnover intentions, 10 execution variables of motivation, and 10 execution variables of job satisfaction were analyzed using fuzzy AHP methodology to obtain quite significant results. Based on the results of this study, three implications in the three strategic aspects and an implication in the academic aspects are presented. Conclusions - Motivation and job satisfaction, job satisfaction and turnover intentions, and motivation and turnover intentions are not formed by independent or different factors or environments. They are in the same context with each other (maintaining high correlations) and are in the relationships of virtuous circles in which they complement each other.
Purpose - The purpose is to identify a structural effect relationship among a hotel chef's personal competency, job satisfaction and customer orientation. Moreover, this research tries to provide implications regarding effective human resource management strategies based on competency to strengthen job satisfaction and customer orientation by testifying the effect relationship of job satisfaction with the relationship between personal competency and guest orientation. Research design, data, methodology By targeting chefs working in five starred hotels in Seoul, the surveys have been distributed from April 1st of 2017 to April 20th of 2017 (approximately 20 days). Out of 300 distributed surveys, 250 were collected, and 246 were used, excepting 4, unhonestly answered. Results - It has been analyzed that a hotel chef's personal competency, self-control ability, customer orientation competency, interpersonal relation competency, gumption, and professional competency has a significant effect on job satisfaction, however, it has been identified that gumption has no impact on job satisfaction. Job satisfaction has a significant impact on customer orientation. Lastly, there is a control effect on job satisfaction and customer orientation by organizational commitment Conclusions - It is able to propose the solutions to improve customer orientation, job satisfaction and organizational commitment of a hotel chef and the ways for human resource management.
Purpose - this study analyzes the impact of restaurant startup education on transfer effects in learning and entrepreneurial intentions based on previous research. Also, problems and ways to provide effective business startup education for a restaurant founder will be proposed based on the result. Research design, data, methodolog - this study collected surveys by conducting direct investigation. From July 20th of 2016 to September 20th of 2016 (approximately 60 days), the survey was collected. Out of 540 surveys, 520 were collected. And excepting 9 surveys which were untrustworthily conducted, total 511 surveys were used for the analysis. Results - First, as a result of the impact of which factor of a restaurant founder's startup education has a positive impact on transfer effect in learning (the satisfaction of startup education and learning transfer), law education, entrepreneurship education and business district analysis education and practical education have turned out be positively related variables. Secondly, as a result of the impact of a restaurant founder's startup education satisfaction on transfer in learning, it has been identified that startup education has a positive impact. Lastly, by conducting an analysis to find out which factor from a restaurant founder's transfer effect in learning has an impact on entrepreneurial intention, all variables, including startup education satisfaction and transfer effect in learning, are positively influencing factors. Conclusions - as startup education satisfaction of a restaurant founder is increasing, there is a higher level of transfer effect in learning. Moreover, as transfer effect of startup business is getting higher, it has an impact on entrepreneurial intention.

Through an examination of future societal development, it was found that the demographic structure is gradually aging, thus placing higher demands on elderly welfare centers. This study conducted surveys on three elderly day care centers in the entire region, aiming to enhance the pivotal role of elderly day care centers in the welfare facilities for the elderly. The current usage status, interior architectu/ral evaluations, and questionnaire surveys of these centers were analysed. The results of investigation into the architectural environment of the elderly day care centers showed that in terms of physical environment, smaller-scale centers did not lag behind larger ones in internal facilities, but larger-scale centers excelled in spatial utilization. Furthermore, the results of questionnaire survey results revealed correlations between family relationships, health status, level of assistance required, and satisfaction with facility usage, while no correlation was found between usage time, health status, and satisfaction with facility usage. This study conducted basic investigations such as architectural and physical surveys, and questionnaire surveys on elderly day care centers. Based on the survey results, future design practices should continuously explore and innovate to meet the needs of an aging society, further improve the community care system, provide more comprehensive and meticulous services for the elderly, and lay the foundation for enhancing the quality of life for the elderly and providing comfortable services.
This survey was conducted with crewmen on large purse seines in order to increase satisfaction of crewmen. The degree of fulfillment of internal marketing on crewmen (internal communication, empowerment, welfare benefits, management support, and reward system), satisfaction of crewmen, turnover intention, recommendation intention and need for achievement were examined. 200 surveys were distributed and 150 surveys were returned, among which insincere responses were excluded to analyze 146 responses. The results are as follows. First, factors of internal marketing that influence satisfaction of crewmen include empowerment, welfare benefits, and reward system. Second, turnover intention was reduced and recommendation intention was increased with increasing satisfaction of crewmen. Third, while need for achievement moderated the relationship between satisfaction of crewmen and turnover intention, it did not moderate the relationship between satisfaction of crewmen and recommendation intention. In other words, stronger need of crewmen for achievement causes greater negative(-) effect of crewmen's satisfaction on turnover intention.

Big data is structured and unstructured data that is so difficult to collect, store, and so on due to the huge amount of data. Many institutions, including universities, are building student convergence systems to foster talents for data science and AI convergence, but there is an absolute lack of research on what kind of education is needed and what kind of education is required for students. Therefore, in this paper, after conducting the correlation analysis based on the questionnaire on basic surveys and courses to improve the curriculum by grasping the satisfaction and demands of the participants in the "2019 Big Data Youth Talent Training Course" held at K University, Regression analysis was performed. As a result of the study, the higher the satisfaction level, the satisfaction with class or job connection, and the self-development, the more positive the evaluation of program efficiency.
