This study conducted a survey of 346 male and female consumers in their 20s-40s who have experienced clothing impulse buying from an internet shopping mall. Respondents were selected using convenience sampling through an online survey conducted in August 2012. For statistical analysis, descriptive statistics, reliability analysis, $X^2$-test, factor analysis, and regression analysis where carried out using SPSS for Windows 12.0. The results were as follows. First, there were significant differences for consumer gender, age, marital status, and education on clothing impulse buying according to shopping mall type. Second, there were differences for the influence of each component (price, product and promotion) on clothing impulse buying according to shopping mall type. Third, it was identified that influence of components (price, product and promotion) on clothing impulse buying were in the following order: low price, freshness, prize promotion, scarcity, open market price discount, prize promotion, freshness, fashionability, low price in general shopping malls, payment term benefit, freshness, and scarcity in fashion SOHO shopping malls. • Purpose - This study examined the relationship between dyadic relationship between leaders and followers (DRLF), distributive justice (DISJ), job satisfaction (JSTC), and organizational commitment (OGCM). Research design, data, and methodology - 200 sets of survey questionnaires were distributed to the employees at a municipal office in East Malaysia using purposive sampling technique. Only 60 percent or 115 questionnaires were returned to the researchers. The survey data were analysed using the SmartPLS due to its ability to deliver latent construct scores, handle small sample size problems and estimate relationship between many constructs in the hypothesized model. Results - The findings indicated that there is a significant correlated direct relationship between DRLF and DISJ and mediating relationship between DRLF, DISJ and personal outcomes, which are JSTC and OGCM. Conclusions - This study confirms that DISJ does act as an important mediating variable in the relationship between DRLF with JSTC and DRLF with OGCM. Other dimensions of personal outcomes, such as extra-role behaviour, job motivation and service quality should be considered in future study because they are found to be the important outcomes of the relationship between DRLF and DISJ. The importance of these issues need to be further advanced in future research.

  • The purpose of this study was to provide the basic data needed for developing comprehensive child edu-care programs that fits the regional needs. Subjects of the survey were the teachers of child edu-care centers in Daejeon. 95 teachers were selected from 20 child edu-care centers, using stratified random sampling method, from all of five municipal districts of the city. Gathered data were analyzed using SPSS 10.0 for reliability, factor analysis, frequency and percentile, mean, standard deviation, paired samples t-test and F-test. The summary of the findings were as follows: First, the result of survey on the child edu-care facts showed that the most child edu-care centers had the focus on caring and education programs of children, while emotional supports for family services and community social services were rather secondary importance. Therefore, to achieve the comprehensive service programs, child edu-care services should be harmonized by the education and welfare approaches. Second, centered around teacher's request, comprehensive child edu-care program that fits the regional characteristics focuses on family service; thus the program requires family group consulting, parents education etc., as well as focusing on community service to utilize local community's human, physical resources and to strengthen the tie between local community and child care services.

  • Efficiency and sensitivity of BLS adjustment method have been studied and the method is known to provide more accurate estimate of total by using properly adjusted weights of samples. However, BLS methods provide different efficiencies according to the magnitudes of correlation coefficients and the sizes of samples in strata. In this paper we study the efficiency of the BLS adjustment according to the sample sizes and correlations in strata. For this study, 2007 monthly labor survey data is used.

  • Purpose: This study seeks to examine prevalence, risk factors, and quality of life of Korean adults with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD). Methods: From the database of the Fourth Korean National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (KNHANES IV-1, 2008), the researchers selected 1,458 adults over the age of 45. The original study was a population-based epidemiological survey of health and nutrition with a stratified multistage clustered probability design. Prevalence of COPD was computed on the basis of the sampling weight. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, ${\chi}^2$ test, t-test and multiple logistic regression with the SPSS WIN 18.0 and SAS Ver. 9.1 program. Results: The prevalence of COPD was 18.0% among people older than 45 yr. The prevalence of current smokers was 19.7% in this population and 26.3% in individuals with COPD. Age, gender, education, and smoking levels were found to be risk factors for COPD. Significant difference in quality of life was founded between adults with COPD and the healthy controls. Conclusion: The results of this study indicate that COPD is a highly prevalent disease in Korea. To reduce the prevalence of COPD and improve health-related quality of life in patients with COPD, nursing interventions must focus on prevention of risk factors.

  • Purpose: This study was to explore the prevalence of alcohol experiences and to identify the expectancy on the effects of alcohol and alcohol knowledge in early adolescents. Method: The cross-sectional survey of 1854 students from seven middle schools in one district of Seoul was conducted by convenience sampling. Alcohol experience and early onset of alcohol use were measured by the Youth Risk Behavior Survey. Alcohol expectancy was measured by an Alcohol Effects Questionnaire. Result: Over sixty five percent of adolescents reported that they had previous drinking experiences. The participants with no alcohol drinking experience had a lower level of alcohol knowledge than those with experience(t=2.73, p=.007). In expectancy on effects of alcohol, girls had a more positive alcohol expectation than boys(t=-2.54, p=.011). Alcohol knowledge negatively correlated with alcohol expectancy(r=-.40 p=.000). In regression of alcohol expectancy, gender and alcohol knowledge were significant predictors explaining 17%. Conclusion: The results support that alcohol expectancy is an important link with early drinking experiences and alcohol knowledge, focusing on the importance of gender differences. Therefore, an alcohol prevention program in early adolescence is needed and should be focused on multidimensionality of the alcohol expectancy with developmental and psychosocial factors for early adolescents.

  • This study was conducted to determine the use of screening for stomach, liver, colorectal, breast, and cervical cancers, which are included in the Korean National Cancer Screening Programme. In 2011 the National Cancer Centre in Korea conducted a nationwide, population-based, cross-sectional interview survey using multi-stage random sampling. Participants included 4,100 cancer-free men 40 years and over of age and women over 30 years of age. The lifetime screening rates for stomach, liver, colorectal, breast, and cervical cancers were 76.2%, 54.3%, 56.1%, 79.0%, and, 74.8%, respectively. The rates of recommended screening for stomach, liver, colorectal, breast, and cervical cancers were 64.6%, 22.9%, 35.3%, 60.4%, and 62.4%, respectively. More than 70% of all screening was attributed to organised cancer screening programmes. The main reason given for non attendance was 'no symptoms'. A greater effort is needed to increase screening rates, especially for liver and colorectal cancers.

  • Recent beauty trends focus on suitability to individual features. A personal color system is a recent aesthetic concept that influences color make up and coordination. However, a personal color concept has several weaknesses. For example, type classification is qualitative and not quantitative because its measuring system is a sensory test with no industry standard of personal color system. A quantitative personal color type classification model is the purpose of this study, which can be a solution to above problems. This model is a kind of mapping system in a 3D Cartesian coordinate system which has own axes, Value, Saturation, and Yellowness. The cheek color of the individual sample is also independent variable and personal color type is a dependent variable. In order to construct the model, this study conducted a colorimetric survey on a 993 sampling frequency of Korean women in their 20s and 30s. The significance of this study is as follows. First, through this study, personal color system is established on quantitative color space; in addition, the model has flexibility and scalability because it consisted of independent axis that allows for the inclusion of any other critical variable in the form of variable axis.
