This study was conducted to suggest the measurement procedure and to build up national greenhouse gas inventory database of animal agricultural sector by assessing methane and nitrous oxide emissions according to IPCC guidelines for national greenhouse gas inventory report in order to correspond to the Climate Change Convention. Ten house-made steady-state Half dome floating chambers were used to collect air samples emitted from slurry stored in the pit under the slat. Those chambers were spread out in order that air samples might represent the whole area of slurry under the slat. Fresh air was pumped into the chambers by $5{\sim}9{\ell}/min$ and air inside the chambers was sampled by $1{\ell}/min$. Surplus air by the higher flow rate of fresh air than sampling flow rate was passed through a hole on the top of chambers. Nitrous oxide fluxes measured from 10 locations would be negligible as concentrations between background air and sampled air from the chambers were within the error range. However, mean $CH_4$ fluxes were $0.15{\sim}1.02mg/m^2{\cdot}s$. The application of continuous greenhouse gas measurement techniques would be preferred if the patterns of greenhouse gas emissions are considered.

Ammonia is very toxic, and causes neuronal damage via excitotoxicity, oxidative stress, and inflammation. Because the liver is the primary organ for ammonia metabolism, compromised liver function can result from inborn errors of metabolism. Measurement of blood ammonia has some limitations. Recently, several laboratories examined possible concurrent increases in plasma ammonia. However, the collection, handling, storage, and analysis of blood samples are all potential sources of error. For evaluation of rapidity and reliability of measurement of blood ammonia, the DRI-CHEM 100 (Fuji Film Co., Japan) and COBAS 8000 (Roche Diagnostic Ltd., Switzerland) analyzer were used for analysis of ammonia level values. The results of this study detected a high correlation between analyzer. Therefore, one-step measurement was suitable for ammonia analysis. After sampling of the ammonia in the time slot for measurement an increase to 46.5, 57.4, and 79.0 (${\mu}g/dL$) was observed at 30, 90, and 180 minutes. In addition, specific capacity of the ammonia, 7, 10, and 13 (${\mu}L$), was measured as 39, 46, and 43 (${\mu}g/dL$), respectively, and the FDC-100 analyzer was more effective in $10{\mu}L$ (p<0.001). In conclusion, the evaluated analysis may offer useful information for clinical application.

The study involved determination of resistance levels of spider mites ta argano-phosphates using topical application and slide dip techniques; laboratory serening tests of alternative acaricides using an O/P resistant strain and a field trial of the screened materials. 1. Strains of Tetranychus were from Timaru(TR), Havelock Narth (HNR), Lincaln (LN). Germany (GR, GN). Comparisons of the resistant strains and normal strains at the LD50 and LC50 levels were as follows : (a) Using the topical application tochnique; with Parathian. resistant levels of the GR. TR and HNR strains of T. urticae were respeativuly, 1035. 484 and 452 times as resistant' as the LN strain. (b) Using the slide dip technique; with Phosdrin, resistant of GR, TR and HNR strains of T. urticae were 635, 274 and 266 times greater respeativuly, than the GN strain. 2. The laboratory sereaning tests were carried out far their contact plus stomach and residual effect to assess the toxicities of eleven alternative materials which would be used far control of O/P resistant strain of T. urticae. The acaricide groups represented were 3 organo-chlorines (Spidex, Kelthane and C 8514), 2 nitrophenyls (UC 19786 and Morocide), 2 cyclic carbonates(Eradex and Morestan). I carbamate (UC2004 7A), 1 mixture of carbamate and orano-chlorine and 2 other chemicals (C 8677 and M2527). From all acaricide tested. Kelthane and Morocide were the most effective, folowed by Spidex and M2527. Morestan, C8514. C8677 and RS 143 were intermediate, but Eradex, UC 19786 and UC 20046A were poor. 3, The number of sapmles required for estimation of the population in the field evaluation of acaricidal effects was one giving the highest practical precision. It was decided, after preliminary sampling trials. to use samples of 30 leaves per replicate which gave a $5.7\%$ standard error. 4. In the field trials, Morocide applied at the $0.05\%\;and\; 0.04\%$ a. i. conc. to black currant trees gave excellent control of O/P resistant population of T. urticae for about 12 days, but Morocide 0.025 and Kel thane $0.02\%$ a. i. cone. gave efficient control for about 6 days. In other words. first applications of Kel thane ane Moroeide gave very high degrees of control of O/P resistant population of the two-spotted spider mite. However, the results indicate that secondary application would sometimes be necessary. There was no foliage damage of black Currants and strawberries by either acaricides at the concentrations used. This study was carried out for the artificial forest stand of 23 years old jack pine(Pinus banksiana Lamb.) in Soheul-myun, Pochun-kun, Kyunggi province of Korea. The objectives of this study were to investigate the stand volume increment and the rate of stand volume, and were to investigate present stand volume to determine annual cutting volume for keeping stand volume to an ideal level for investigated jack pine stand. For a reasonable calculation of stand volume increment, diameter of breast height(DBH), tree height, bark width, and core length for the last 10 years for respective sampling plots were measured. By using these measurements annual diameter increment in DBH class, stand volume increment of 95% confidence interval and tree height curve equation were calculated. The tree height value was derived from the tree height curve equation. Calculation of tree volume by using the tree volume table was made by conferring the tree height value. The summarized results for investigated jack pine trees were having 7.7% annual stand volume increment with 6.1% estimated error. The total stand volume per ha was $79.58m^3$, accordingly the annual stand volume increment was $6.13m^3$ per ha, and the 95% confidence intervals range from 5.77 to $6.51m^3$.
As big data become more important socially and economically in recent years, many problems have been derived from the indiscriminate application of big data. Big data are valuable because it can figure out the meaning of informative information hidden within the data. In particular, to predict customer behavior patterns and experiences, structured data that were extracted from Customer Relationship Management (CRM) or unstructured data that were extracted from Social Network Service(SNS) can be defined as a population to interpret the data, during which many errors can occur. However, those errors are usually overlooked. In addition to data analysis techniques, some data, which should be considered in the analysis, are not included in the population and thus do not show any meaningful patterns. Therefore, this study presents the measurement and interpretation of the data generated when the cause of error in the population setting is strong relationship and interaction between people or a person and an object. In other words, it will be shown that if the relationship and interaction are strong, it is important to include data collected from the perspective of user experience and ethnography in the population by comparing various cases of big data application, through which the meaning will be derived and the best direction will be suggested.

Recently, researches for semantic annotation methods which represent and search objects included in video data, have been briskly activated since video starts to be popularized as types for interactive contents. Different location data occurs at each frame because coordinates of moving objects are changed with the course of time. Saving the location data for objects of every frame is too ineffective. Thus, it is needed to compress and represent effectively. This paper suggests two methods; the first, ontology modeling for moving objects to make users intuitively understandable for the information, the second, to reduce the amount of data for annotating moving objects by using cubic spline interpolation. To verify efficiency of the suggested method, we implemented the interactive video system and then compared with each video dataset based on sampling intervals. The result follows : when we got samples of coordinate less than every 15 frame, it showed that could save up to 80% amount of data storage; moreover, maximum of error deviation was under 31 pixels and the average was less than 4 pixels.
The purpose of this study is to verify the utility of reflected photoplethysmography sensor using two green light emitting diodes that influenced by ambient light. Recently it has been studied that green light emitting diode is suitable for light source of reflected photoplethysmography sensor at low temperature and high temperature. Another study showed that, green light is better for monitoring heart rate during motion than led light. However, it has a bad characteristic about ambient light noise. To verify the utility of reflected photoplethysmography sensor using green light emitting diode, this study measures the photoplethysmography signal that is distorted by ambient light and will propose a solution. This study has two parts of research method. One is measurement system that composed sensor and board. The sensor is made up PE-foam and Non-woven fabric for flexible sensor. The photoplethysmography signal is measured by measurement board that composed high-pass filter, low-pass filter and amplifier. Ambient light source is light bulb and white light emitting diode that has three steps brightness. Photoplethysmography signal is measured with lead II electrocardiography signal at the same time and it is measured at the finger and radial artery for 1 minute, 1000 Hz sampling rate. The lead II electrocardiography signal is a standard signal for heart rate and photoplethysmography signal that measured at the finger is a standard signal for waveform. The test is repeated 3 times using three sensor. The data is processed by MATLAB to verify the utility by comparing the correlation coefficient score and heart rate. The photoplethysmography sensor using two green light emitting diodes is shown better utility than using one green light emitting diode and red light emitting diode at the ambient light. The waveform and heart rate that measured by two green light emitting diodes are more identical than others. The amount of electricity used is less than red light emitting diode and error peak detectability factor is the lowest.
Stereophotogrammetry is a method to extract information of an interested area by constructing a stereo-image from two or more photos. In this study, the stereophotogrammetry was adopted to obtain the joint orientation and trace length from a sampling window and its measurements were compared with the result by a clinocompass and measuring tape to evaluate the applicability of the stereophotogrammetry to rock joint survey. A commercial stereophotogrammetry program, ShapeMetriX 3D, was used for this purpose. Firstly, the accuracy of the measuring method using ShpaeMetrix 3D was evaluated by a model test. Secondly, joint orientations on a rock slope and tunnel were obtained by using ShapeMetriX 3D and compared with the measurement by a clinocompass. Finally. the effect of base-depth ratio in photographing was evaluated by comparing images with various base-depth ratios, and the usefulness of closed-up photographing on a rock exposure to increase the measurement accuracy was tested. The dip and dip direction of each model plane obtained by ShapeMetriX 3D showed an error ranged between $-5^{\circ}\;and\; 5^{\circ}$ on the basis of the results by the measuring tape. Base-depth ratio proved not to influence the analysis result by ShapeMetriX 3D if all the images were taken without any hidden area. The close-up photographing turned out useful to obtain the detailed images and therefore precise result when ShapeMetriX 3D was adopted.

Wind energy is becoming one of the most preferable alternatives to conventional sources of electric power that rely on fossil fuels. For stable electric power generation, constant rotating speed control of a wind turbine is performed through pitch control and stall control of the turbine blades. Recently, variable pitch control has been implemented in modern wind turbines to harvest more energy at variable wind speeds that are even lower than the rated one. Although wind turbine pitch controllers are currently optimized using a step response via the Ziegler-Nichols auto-tuning process, this approach does not satisfy the requirements of variable pitch control. In this study, the variable pitch controller was optimized by a genetic algorithm using a neural network model that was constructed by the Latin Hypercube sampling method to improve the Ziegler-Nichols auto-tuning process. The optimized solution shows that the root mean square error, rise time, and settle time are respectively improved by more than 7.64%, 15.8%, and 15.3% compared with the corresponding initial solutions obtained by the Ziegler-Nichols auto-tuning process.
