The purpose of this study is to identify and analyze drivers' attitude related to usage of traffic information and traffic management service. A sample survey on Seohaeanseon Expressway(15), Gyeongbu Experssway(1), Youngdong Expressway(50) was conducted to analyze drivers' attitude ; sample size is 304 with 95% of confidence level and ${\pm}3.6%$ of sampling error. The analysis lists of drivers' attitude are usage of traffic information, awareness about information dissemination devices, and awareness about traffic control information related to LCS or RWIS. The results of this study is that drivers want pre-trip information, voice-based Hi-pass OBU, and fast incident management. According to the IPA, KEC's main consideration is a traffic flow improvement.
In this paper, we propose an audio watermarking method using the attribute of tonal masker. First, the attribute of tonal masker as an audio watermarking attribute is analyzed. According to existing researches, it is possible to be imperceptible modulation for the energies of the frequencies that compose a tonal masker. And when the relation between the tone energy and the left or right frequency energy after various signal processing is compared with the one before the processing, very few changes are showed. We propose an audio watermarking method using these attributes of tonal masker. A watermark bit is embedded by the modulation of the difference between the two neighboring frequency energies of a tone. In the detection, the modulated the tonal masker is searched using the key wed in the embedding without original audio and the embedded watermark bit is detected. After each attack of noise insertion, band-pass filtering, re-sampling, compression, echo transform and equalization, the detection error ratios of the proposed method were average 0.11%, 1.26% for Classics and Pops. And the SDG(Subjective Diff-Grades) scale evaluation of the sound quality of the watermarked audio result in the average SDG -0.31.

This paper presents intelligent digital redesign method for hybrid state space fuzzy-model-based controllers. For effectiveness and stabilization of continuous-time uncertain nonlinear systems under discrete-time controller, Takagi-Sugeno(TS) fuzzy model is used to represent the complex system. And global approach design problems viewed as a convex optimization problem that we minimize the error of the norm bounds between nonlinearly interpolated linear operators to be matched. Also, by using the bilinear and inverse bilinear approximation method, we analyzed nonlinear system's uncertain parts more precisely. When a sampling period is sufficiently small, the conversion of a continuous-time structured uncertain nonlinear system to an equivalent discrete-time system have proper reason. Sufficiently conditions for the global state-matching of the digitally controlled system are formulated in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). Finally, a TS fuzzy model for the chaotic Lorentz system is used as an . example to guarantee the stability and effectiveness of the proposed method.

This paper describes the design, evaluation and implementation of a compensating algorithm for an iron-cored measurement current transformer (CT) that removes the effects of the hysteresis characteristics of the iron-core. The exciting current resulting from the hysteresis characteristics of the core causes an error of the CT. The proposed algorithm decomposes the exciting current into the core loss current and the magnetizing current and each of them is estimated. The core loss current is calculated from the secondary voltage and the voltage-core loss current curve. The core flux linkage is calculated and then inserted into the flux-magnetizing current curve to estimate the magnetizing current. The exciting current at every sampling interval is obtained by summing the core loss and magnetizing currents and then added to the measured current to obtain the correct secondary current. The voltage-core loss current curve and flux-magnetizing current curves, which are different from the conventional curves, are derived in this paper. The performance of the proposed algorithm is validated under various conditions using EMTP generated data. The experimental test results of an iron-core type electronic CT, which consists of the iron-core and the compensation board, are also included. The results indicate that the proposed algorithm can improve the accuracy of the measurement CT significantly, and thus reduce the size and the cost of the CT.
Most of the conventional electrocardiowaphs foil to detect signals other than P-QRS-T due to the limited SNR and bandwidth. High-resolution electrocardiography(HRECG) provides better SNR and wider bandwidth for the detection of micro-potentials with higher frequency components such as vontricular late potentials(LP). We have developed a HRECG using uncorrected XYZ lead for the detection of LPs. The overall gain of the amplifier is 4000 and the bandwidth is 0.5-300Hz without using 60Hz notch filter. Three 16-bit A/D converters sample X, Y, and Z signals simultaneously with a sampling frequency of 2000Hz. Sampled data are transmitted to a PC via a DMA-controlled, optically-coupled serial communication channel. In order to further reduce the noise, we implemented a signal averaging algorithm that averaged many instances of aligned beats. The beat alignment was carried out through the use of a template matching technique that finds a location maximizing cross-correlation with a given beat tem- plate. Beat alignment error was reduced to $\pm$0.25ms. FIR high-pass filter with cut-off frequency of 40Hz was applied to remove the low frequency components of the averaged X, Y, and Z signals. QRS onset and end point were determined from the vector magnitude of the sigrlaIL and some parameters needed to detect the existence of LP were estimated. The entire system was designed for the easy application of the future research topics including the optimal lead system, filter design, new parameter extraction, etc. In the developed HRECG, without signal averaging, the noise level was less than 5$\mu$V$_rms RTI$. With signal averaging of at least 100 beats, the noise level was reduced to 0.5$\mu$V$_rms RTI$, which is low enough to detect LPs. The developed HRECG will provide a new advanced functionality to interpretive ECG analyzers.

An indirect matrix converter (IMC) is a modern power generation system that enables a direct ac/ac conversion without the need for any bulky and limited lifetime electrolytic capacitor. This system also allows four-quadrant operation, generation of sinusoidal output voltage waveforms with variable frequency and amplitude, and control of input power factor. This study proposes a pulse-width modulation-based sliding-mode controller to achieve unity input-power factor operation of the IMC independently of the active power exchanged with the grid, as well as a fast dynamic response. The designed equivalent control law determines, at each sampling period, the appropriate q-axis component of the modulated input current to be injected into the grid through the LC input filter. An integral term of the error is included in the expression of the sliding surface to increase the accuracy of the control method. A double space vector modulation method is used to synthesize the direction of the space vector of the input currents as required by the sliding-mode controller and the space vectors of the target output voltages. Simulation and experimental results are provided to show the effectiveness and evaluate the performance of the proposed control method.
The exhaust emissions from coal-fired power plants have received much attention because coal-fired power plants are the one of the largest sources of particulate matter (PM) emissions in South Korea. To measure the PM10 and PM2.5, we developed the novel diluter which is comprised of ejector and porous tube in series. The dilution ratio must be defined to calculate particle concentrations of the sampled air as well as to probe match for the isokinetic sampling. For this reason, we verified the dilution ratio of the developed diluter by the flow rate, numerical solution, gas concentration and particle concentration. The ejector-supplied flow rates were 10-50 L/min and the porous tube-supplied flow rates were 30, 50 L/min in this study. All methods above showed similar dilution ratios to each other within 10 % error rate. The dilution ratio was confirmed by comparing mass concentrations before and after the dilution process.
Analysis of a specific wavelength band of a video signal is an old research field. However, studies on the analysis of signals having the characteristics of a specific wavelength band or the generation of samples have been conducted actively in recent years. In this paper, we analyze the signal of digital halftoned image. The interpretation of halftoning in terms of signals was first made by Ulichney. We have come to the view that the signal characteristics between pixels used for half toning are good for blue noise. Lau has developed a halftoning method that uses green-noise characteristics by using output-dependent feedback as an error diffusion method. Jho has developed a method for producing halftoned images using a reaction diffusion model. In this paper, we analyze reaction diffusion halftoning in terms of signal to show green noise and compare it with existing green noise half tone.
Purpose: This study was investigated the mediating effect of coping behaviors in the relationship between the second victim experiences after patient safety incidents and the nursing practice changes. Methods: A cross-sectional survey was performed using structured questionnaires. Participants were 218 clinical nurses in general tertiary hospitals in South Korea. Data were collected through an online survey and snowball sampling from August 11 to September 6 2020. Data were analyzed using SPSS 23.0 program. A mediation analysis was performed using multiple regression and a simple mediation model applying the PROCESS macro with 95% bias-corrected bootstrap confidence interval. Results: The mean scores of second victim experiences was 3.41/5. Approach coping (β = .55, p < .001) and the avoidant coping (β = - .23, p = .001) showed mediation effects in the relationship between second victim experiences and constructive change in nursing practice. Avoidant coping (β = .29, p < .001) showed a mediation effect in the relationship between second victim experiences and defensive change in nursing practice. Conclusion: Coping behaviors has a mediating effect on the relationship between second victim experiences and nursing practice changes. To ensure that nurses do not experience second victim, medical institutions should have a culture of patient safety that employs a systematic approach rather than blame individuals. They also need to develop strategies that enhance approach coping and reducing avoidant coping to induce nurses' constructive practice changes in clinical nurses in experiencing second victims due to patient safety incidents.

This study aims to evaluate the accuracy of retrieved horizontal winds with different quality control methods from three Doppler lidars deployed over the complex terrain during the PyeongChang 2018 Olympic and Paralympic games. To retrieve the accurate wind profile, this study also proposes two quality control methods to distinguish between meteorological signals and noises in the Doppler velocity field, which can be broadly applied to different Doppler lidars. We evaluated the accuracy of retrieved winds with the wind measurements from the nearby or collocated rawinsondes. The retrieved wind speed and direction show a good agreement with rawinsonde with a correlation coefficient larger than 0.9. This study minimized the sampling error in the wind evaluation and estimation, and found that the accuracy of retrieved winds can reach ~0.6 m s-1 and 3° in the quasi-homogeneous wind condition. We expect that the retrieved horizontal winds can be used in the high-resolution analysis of the horizontal winds and provide an accurate wind profile for model evaluation or data assimilation purposes.
