  • Study on the Apparel Advertising Strategy and Popular Music Singer. From the 1990s popular musics begin to reflect modern fashion. Especially those dance musics such as Rap or Reggae captivate teenagers through the mass media. So middle-low price causal cloth-ing companies hire the most popular singers as their role model. this marketing strategy succeeds to increas their sales and now many companies compete to engage famous singers,. in western countries where the music and the fashion have interacted for some times famouse singers express their personalities through the clothes they wear. The consumers try to imitate them by puchasing smiliar clothsing. And it makes the apparel company to produce more goods. However if those companies continue to be shiortsighted in terms of increasing sales in the shortrun with out their personality and differentiation brand concept. they will only instigate the teenager's consumptionand they'll fail to create their own fashion-style.

Counting What Will Count: How to Empirically Select Leading Performance Indicator

  • Facing information overload in today's complex environments, managers look to a concise set of marketing metrics to provide direction for marketing decision making. While there have been several papers dealing with the theoretical aspects of dashboard creation, no research creates and tests a dashboard using scientific techniques. This study develops and demonstrates an empirical approach to dashboard metric selection. In a fast moving consumer goods category, this research selects leading indicators for national-brand and store-brand sales and revenue premium performance from 99 brand-specific and relative-to-competition variables including price, brand equity, usage occasions, and multiple measures of awareness, trial/usage, purchase intent, and liking/satisfaction. Plotting impact size and wear-in time reveals that different kinds of variables predict sales at distinct lead times, which implies that managerial action may be taken to turn the metrics around before performance itself declines.

제약산업 R&D 투자 효과분석

  • In general, manufacture of medicine has demerit of long period in investment effect, high risk, expensiveness through new drug development. At empirical test, R&D investment for new drug development positively affects on profit in manufacture of medicine. In Korea, effect on R&D investment in manufacture of medicine occur faster than previous period. Manufacture of medicine is value added industry, compared to other industries. Moreover, U.S & Japan in R&D expenditure on sales respectively has 10.1%, 8.07%. This is 3-4 times, compared to R&D expenditure on sales of Korea. Conclusionally, the importance of R&D investment increase more and more in future. So, manufacture of medicine and Companies related this will care for R&D investment.

인천공항 입국장 면세점 도입에 따른 경제적 효과 분석 (Economic Effects of Incheon International Airport Arrival Duty-Free Shops)

  • This study analyzes the economic effect of introducing the arrival duty - free shop at Incheon International Airport. Based on the estimated sales of KRW 127 billion for the duty-free shop at the port of entry, the international balance of payments was estimated at KRW 55.5 billion. Job creation was estimated at 530, including direct and indirect workforce. With the admission of arrival duty-free shops, duty-free shops in the airline are likely to see a decline in sales, helping to improve monopoly structure on the market structure side. It is expected that the rental income generated through the operation of the arrival duty-free shop will be used as a resource for social contribution activities, creating additional social economic effects.

  • The purpose of this paper is to determine the actual strategies used in Inventory Management in the field of Distribution phenomenon. In the first part of the research, theoretical backgrounds will be reviewed in order to provide better understanding the importance of Inventory Management in Distribution Management. The qualitative data were gathered by face to face interviews and a phone interview from four selected intermediaries. The study finds intermediaries practicing JIT in the sales and distribution and maximizing the sales activities and minimizing the inventory cost by giving up on an opportunity cost.

인터넷 판매를 통한 생활한복의 활성화 연구 (A Study on active use of Daily Hanbok through sales on The Internet)

  • This study was conducted from Sep., 1999. to Nov., 1999. It researched approximately 60 specialized manufacturers who had homepages on the Internet. Of the 60 manufacturers, 20 of them were chosen for the study all of whom had relatively were made homepages that were geared towards sales. 1. Daily Hanboks on the homepages were put in an electronic catalog. They were photographed and well described. Each picture could be enlarged when needed. 2. The Hanbok's were made for men, women and children. There were every couple's Hanboks. The Hanboks used natural material, mixed spinning and chemical textile, which was easily kept and washed. It was intended, as clothes for everyday wear Silk was used for formal clothes. 3. The prices ranged from low-middle to high clothing for everyday life is reasonable and street wear and formal dresses are priced high. The color of the dresses are not vibrant, but natural and light. As Hanboks become more in demand, there will be more choices available. 4. As matter of the sizes shows weakness. In general they use the western size system. The purpose of this study is to show the direction that Hanbok manufacturers may take for the internet sales and for being more active to promote the spread of the dress. This research came to the fellowing conclusion. Even though Hanbok manufacturers operate homepages. it seems that they are not well used. However, many internet shopping malls have been opened and they have put Daily Hanboks into one of their sales categories. The internet malls are getting more active and are expanding more. Therefore the market value of the Hanboks in the future look optimistic. If smaller sized manufacturers of Daily Hanbok's establish cooperative network that have no time and space limit, they can use the strong power of the market as the market development for Daily Hanboks is endless.

밤나무 재배 수익성 분석 (Beneficial Analysis of Chestnut Cultivation)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 최근 양자간 FTA의 협상에 의한 수입개방시대를 맞이하여 밤 가격의 변동으로 인한 밤 판매가격별 수익성과 투자금의 회수기간 등을 파악하여 밤나무를 재배하고자 하는 사람이나 밤 재배에 관련되는 사람들에게 투자 정보를 제공하기 위한 것이다. 경남 진주 산청, 전남 구례, 충남 공주 부여 청양 등 6개 지역의 133가구를 사례로 조사 분석하였다. 분석기법으로 IRR, B/C Ratio, NPV, 손익분기점 매출액의 기법을 사용하였다. 그 결과 이자율 4%를 적용했을 때 밤 판매가격이 1,140원/kg 이하일 때 투자가치가 없고, 그 이상일 때 투자가치가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 투자 후 16년째 투자금을 회수하고 손익분기점 매출액은 32,963천원/ha인 것으로 나타났다. 3,000원/kg일 경우 투자 후 9년째 투자금을 회수하고 손익분기점 매출액은 15,176천원/ha인 것으로 나타났다.

국제물품매매계약(國際物品賣買契約)에서 'Liquidated Damage Clause'(LD 조항(條項))의 유효성(有效性)과 실무적(實務的) 적용(適用)에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Validity and Practical Application of Liquidated Damage Clause(LD Clause) in International Sales Contract)

  • The purpose of this paper is to examine the viewpoints of the different legal systems for the validity of LD Clause and the possibility of gap-filling function of UNIDROIT Principles in International Sales Contract. The results of comparative study between common law system and civil law system, and between CISG and UNCDROIT Principles is as follows: First, common law system distinguishes LD Clause and Penalty Clause, but civil law system including Korean law does not strictly distinguish the difference between them, provided that the liquidated damages are not grossly excessive. Second, CISG does not concerned with the validity of LD Clause but entrust this matter to the law applicable by virtue of the rules of private international law; conversely the Principles follow similar position of civil law system. The possibility of gap-filling of the Principles is more positive in the case of arbitration than in the case of litigation. On the basis of above study, I also checked the LD Clauses of ICC Model International Sales and the Model Contracts of Korean Commercial Arbitration Board. The LD Clauses of there two Model Contract seem very appropriate and reasonable for the reference in practical application. The appropriate, not excessive, LD Clause will contribute not only to eliminate the burden of proof for the actual damages, but also to enforce both parties to perform their obligations in their contracts. Therefore, When we make contract, we should keep in our mind to insert the reasonable and appropriate LD Clause in the sales contract. If not, so to speak, litigated damages are grossly excessive, the Clause may be invalid in some legal system.

소매점의 점주특성과 점포특성이 경영성과에 미치는 영향: 부산·울산지역 나들가게를 중심으로 (Effects of Store Owners and Store Characteristics on Retail Store Management Performance: Focusing on Nadle Store in Busan and Ulsan Regions)

  • 본 연구는 나들가게의 점포특성과 점주특성이 경영성과에 어떻게 영향을 미치는지를 구체적으로 살펴보았다. 첫째, 사업경력과 동일거주여부에 따른 매출실적을 분석한 결과 사업장 비거주가 84.2만원으로 거주보다 9.2만원 높게 나타났으며, 사업경력으로는 5년 미만이 86.0만원으로 가장 높았으며, 특히 5년 미만 경력을 가진 점주 중 비거주가 91.8만원으로 가장 높게 나타났다. 둘째, 운영형태와 매장 규모에 따른 매출실적을 분석한 결과 매출이 가장 높은 운영형태는 마트형이었고 다음으로 청과물 포함형태가 평균 87.4만원으로 높게 나타났다. 매장 규모별로 살펴보면, 60㎡ 이상이 79.0만원으로 높게 나타났다. 60㎡ 이상 중 매출액이 가장 높은 운영형태는 마트형으로 96.0만원이었으며, 다음으로 편의점이 평균 93.3만원으로 높게 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 향후 정부의 소상공인 정책뿐 아니라 소매점포 경영효율화의 방안을 제시하는데 참고자료가 될 것으로 판단된다.

부산수산물의 유통개선정책에 관한 연구 (A Study on Policy of Distribution Improvement of Fishery Products in Busan)

  • In 2006, the share of fisheries distribution in Busan amounted to 1.9 million ton, which was 41 percent of the whole country. In details, coastal fishery 334 thousand ton(14% of the whole country), deep sea fishery 452 thousand ton(82%), import fishery 964 thousand ton(70%), export fishery 157 thousand ton(43%) were distributed in Busan region, respectively. According to distribution share, import(50%), deep sea fishery(24%), coastal fishery(18%), export(8%) are main category of fisheries distribution in Busan. After the institutional changes in 1997, that is, from monopoly to the competitive systems are implemented, the share of sales volume through a home trust market decreased gradually since 2000. Especially, the share of direct sales in farming fisheries sector amounted to 73.8 percent of total production volume, 80.7 percent of production value in 2005. Furthermore, the share of fisheries sale through e-commerce is increasing owing to the growth of IT and competitive price of its products. and the sale share of large discount store is also on the 10% more increase. Hereafter these structure changes of fisheries distribution in Busan will be more intensified. Therefore, after reflecting the change in distribution policy of Busan Fisheries, the directions of distribution policy should be established, as follows. $\cdot$ Distribution policy to prepare for increasing of non-trust market sales $\cdot$ Fisheries distribution policy to prepare for increasing of direct transaction like e-commerce $\cdot$ Distribution policy to prepare for increasing of sales ratio in large discount store $\cdot$ Distribution policy for making up sound purchasing circumstance of Fisheries $\cdot$ Distribution policy for reducing the fisheries distribution cost $\cdot$ Distribution policy to prepare for increasing of direct carrying the deep sea fisheries and import fisheries to Seoul and $Inch'{\breve{o}}n$ section $\cdot$ Distribution policy for implementing the information system for managing fisheries transaction $\cdot$ Distribution policy for advancing the export & import management of fisheries $\cdot$ Distribution policy for establishing transaction principle reflecting the peculiarity in fishery distribution(to enacting independent fishery law)
