As people make efforts on accident prevention, the number of accidents has decreased over the years, however the number of fatal major industry accidents has rather increased, which resulted in the increase of the number of deaths in total. Under these conditions, there is an attempt to introduce and perform the safety vocational education system as a means for preventing major industry accidents. Therefore, in this paper, we analyse vocational education of manufacturing industry from the safety's point of view and suggest the efficient techniques measuring and managing each safety management. Proposed techniques show that the specification on safety determines weight through the managers of firms and each process is suggested by using SN ratio.

The main purpose of the study is to reduce the accident death rate in the construction industry. To achieve this goal, the safety planning tasks were analyzed and assessed in terms of the importance and preventive effects of the tasks. Through the extensive literature reviews, the safety planning tasks were identified and reviewed by safety managers. Based on the data collected, a survey was conducted in order to receive responses by experts with knowledge on the effects and importance of preventive measures for safety. Then, the IPA method was employed to identify the safety manager's tasks that have an effect on performance indicators. The effective safety tasks identified are expected to have a critical role in reducing the accident death rate in the construction industry.

The purpose of this study is to analysis the awareness and opinion of occupational health managers on the deregulation of occupational safety and health. The data were collected by using constructed questionnaires from December 1 to December 20, 2000. The subjects for this study were 107 respondents. The results were as follows ; 1. The highest awareness score was voluntary employment for occupational health doctor. High awareness score was exemption from obligatory education for occupational health manager, and expansion cover range of group occupational health agencies. 2. Most of the occupational health managers had a negative opinion on the deregulation of occupational safety and health. In particular, one of the most negative opinions was no restrictions on occupational health managers holding other jobs. 3. The correlation between awareness and opinion on the deregulation of occupational safety and health was negative, showing that the negative opinion on the deregulation of occupational safety and health tended to increases as awareness increases.

Recently, the importance of disaster prevention has emerged as serious accidents have occurred frequently, in which workers died or seriously injured at industrial sites. In response, the government enacted the 'Act on the Punishment of Major Disasters' to strengthen the responsibility, punishment intensity, and regulation of business owners for accidents at the site. In particular, the construction industry accounts for a large proportion of serious accidents, so safety levels need to be raised through on-site management. This study aims to reduce the occurrence of disasters at construction sites and to improve the work efficiency of safety managers. To derive detailed elements of the safety manager's work, domestic and overseas cases were investigated. The derived items were analyzed for the difficulty and preventive effects of the work through a survey of experts, and they will contribute to disaster prevention by presenting tasks to be focused and suggesting ways to improve inefficient tasks.

Purpose: This study was conducted to determine the effect of the performance of Workplace Health Manager at the workplace on presenteeism in the workers. Methods: Three months before this study, between June 2010 and September 2010, a self-reporting survey of 316 employees in 136 workplaces in each of each hired a Workplace Health Manager was performed at their workplace with explanations of the purpose and methods of this study after their consent was obtained. Results: The average performance score of the Workplace Health Manager as graded by the employees was 3.8 out of 5 points. The duties of the Workplace Health Manager which received higher grades were posting of the Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS), health education, and future management with respect to the results and procedure of health care-related work. According to the employees' survey, the score for presenteeism was evaluated as 14.3 out of 30 points. Based on the presenteeism analysis results, when (1) the employee was a male, (2) the workplace was established and managed by Industry Safety and Health Committee, (3) the employees were aware of the role of Workplace Health Managers, and (4) Workplace Health Manager fulfilled his/her role actively and successfully, presenteeism was observed to a lesser extent. Conclusion: According to the results of the study, presenteeism was observed to a lesser extent when the Workplace Health Manager actively performed his/her role.

Many researches and projects are implemented about u-IT according to changes of ubiquitous environments in the world. Especially, there are benefits to raise lifestyle and we can develop industry by applying ubiquitous regionally. Also it makes citizen feel comfortable directly. There are many projects to regionally adopt ubiquitous services like u-City model for getting this advantages. RFID technology must be suited to each environment because each RFID tag has different characteristics according to frequency band. We need to integrate bands of RFID to overcome limitations and provide more detail information and services. In this study, we develop the dual band RFID Manager needed adopting u-Zone service for both 13.56MHz and 2.45GHz. The RFID Manager, application software for base station of u-Zone, delivers the information from readers to integrated u-Zone server system.

국내에서는 해양오염을 예방하기 위하여 해양오염방지관리인 제도를 운영하고 있다. 2007년 1월 19일 해양환경관리법(법률 제8260호)이 제정되어 2008년 1월 20일부터 시행으로 됨으로써 1977년 제정되어 시행되어 오던 해양오염방지법이 폐지됨에 따라 해양오염방지관리인 교육 제도에도 변화가 생겼다. 주요 개정 내용은 교육훈련기관, 교육훈련과정, 교육훈련대상자, 해양오염방지관리인 업무내용 및 준수사항, 해앙시설의 범위, 교육과목 등이다.

최근 건설현장에서의 안전사고는 근로자의 생명을 위협하는 중대한 사고로 이어질 수 있는 만큼 안전관리업무를 담당하는 안전관리자의 역할이 대두대고 있다. 그러나 현행 건설업 안전관리에 있어 안전 관리자는 1인당 담당하는 업무량이 과도하게 많고, 비효율적인 안전업무들로 인해 업무내용 개선 및 간략화가 필요한 실정이다. 본 연구의 주목적은 안전 관리자 계획단계에서 수행되는 업무들의 난이도와 예방효과를 전문가 의견을 통해 2×2 Matrix 분석 기법을 활용하여 상관관계를 도출하고 불필요한 업무의 간략화와 업무 개선이 필요한 부분을 파악함으로써, 궁극적으로 건설안전재해사고 발생을 줄이는 데 있다.

The aim of this study is that HPMA(Hazard Potentials in My Areas) System is to present for establishment of the voluntary safety management on industrial region. HPMA System Itself means that manager, supuryisor and worker on process-line find out the hazardous and/or unsafe potentials from their work places and make the plan of improvement by means of mutual communication with top manager and the department of safety staff, eventually put in the practice. In case that it takes the longer time to improve hazard potentials and is impossible improvement by existing technique, appropriate check-list will be used by the worker himself on the identified production line. Form this system, therefore, it makes them to get more and more sensitivity to the hazards. In this study, we present the voluntary safety management system which is controlable systematically and in the final analysis the direction of safety management by computerization of HPMA System which is activated in their work places.
