Study on Technology Intensive MRO and PMA for Aircraft Engine (기술집약형 항공엔진 정비산업과 부품인증제도에 관한 고찰)

  • USA and Europe are leading the transport airplane industry. In Asia-Pacific region, air transportation and MRO industries are forecasted to be grown up rapidly. Furthermore, Japan and China entered into design and manufacture state of regional airplane, while developing countries entered into severe struggle competition for MRO industry. Global aircraft MRO and engine MRO industries are forecasted 3.4% and 7% annual growth respectively in the next decade. In this paper, authors propose promotion strategy for technology intensive MRO of aircraft engine to create a higher value-added business.

Analysis of Technical Pattern and Product Characteristics of Global Outdoor Sportswear (해외 아웃도어 스포츠웨어의 테크니컬 패턴과 제품 특성 분석)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the technical pattern and product characteristics of outdoor sportswear marketed in Northern Europe and North America. Based on the results of this study, we wanted to provide practical data on the characteristics of products with high functionality and fashionability for developing outdoor sportswear. Therefore, in this study, technical pattern, textiles, details, sewing, compatibility with wearable devices, and certification of 33 marketed outdoor sportswear were analyzed. After analyzing various technical patterns, the bent arm pattern using two-piece panel and a raised arm pattern connecting the side seam with the inner seam of the sleeve appeared on the top. Additionally, the patterns of bent legs with darts in the knee, cutting the posterior, and inserting the gusset in the crotch were mainly seen in the bottoms. By analyzing product characteristics, ergonomic pattern design for easy activity and functional materials was used for climate adaptation in extreme outdoor wear. On the other hand, for outdoor wear meant for trekking or hiking, details, such as portability and easy storage, were considered. Eco-friendly materials were used while ensuring light weight and comfort. Furthermore, for convenience of life, safety, and health, wearable devices were integrated into the outdoor sportswear. Eco-friendly green certification of outdoor products was obtained for the labor environment and production process, and relevant information was provided to consumers.

  • In the policy management system of the safety&health(same as the environment and the quality), the documentation of the management system is required in various international standards & guides. In case of 3 level classification of the system documents, it generally will be identified such name as the manual, the procedure(or the process) and the job instruction. Each level of the document has the unique role and usage though, the job instructions, especially, would be developed to support the practical job worker. Considering such document level, the job instructions should be reflect the latest know-how of the job-handling methods. And that, it should be used at any times by the related job worker. This paper is prepared for surveying the actual usage status of the job instructions of the domestic enterprises holding ISO certificate and trying to suggest the better way of application of the system documents.

  • Safety and welfare of forestry is very poor because of poor working environment, decreasing workforce and budget, and aging. These have brought many accidents and casualties. The accident rate in the field of forestry were about 2.83 times higher than average of an entire industry and mortality rate were 1.84 times higher than it. The most reason among the mortality accident was caught in, under or between objects and struck by objects. In analysis of 60 serious accident cases, the number of occurrence s of caught in, under or between objects and struck by objects were the highest. We suggest education, engineering, environment, and enforcement methods which is first aid education and emergency response system, equipment of combined IoT technologies and sensors, and certification and career program on the basis of the results.

Analysis of Allowable Strength of Reused Vertical Members of System Scaffolds and System Supports (재사용 시스템비계와 시스템동바리 수직재의 허용강도 분석)

  • The allowable strength based on experiments and the design allowable strength calculated using the design criteria were compared, which suggested a ratio between the allowable strengths for the reused vertical members of the system scaffolding and system support. By investigating a total of 421 certification reports for reused vertical members, the experimental allowable strengths were collected. Using design criteria such as the road bridge design and KDS 14 30 10, the design allowable strengths were calculated for various slenderness ratios. For the system scaffolding, the average ratio between the experimental and design allowable strengths was calculated to be 0.880 by assuming a normal distribution for all specimens. However, by analyzing the strength ratio according to the slenderness ratio, the lowest average strength ratio was found to be at least 0.844. Therefore, it is reasonable to assume that the allowable strength of the reused vertical members was 80-84% of the design allowable strength. In addition, assuming the allowable strength to be 85% of the design allowable strength is a possible method for reused vertical members of system supports.

An Analysis of Relationship between the Level of Satisfaction of Domestic Products and Purchase Intention of Imported Organic Products (국내산 친환경농산물 만족도와 수입산 유기농산물 구입의향 관계 분석)

  • The purpose of this paper is to analyze the relationship between the level of satisfaction of domestic Environment-friendly agricultural products and purchase intent of imported organic products. To accomplish the objective of the study a consumer survey was administered for quantitative analysis regarding consumption patterns. The bivariate probit with sample selection model was employed for empirical analysis on the relationship. The estimation results showed that to increase continuously the consumption, it is necessary to improve the quality satisfaction compared to the price, and that it is also necessary to increase the reliability of the certification system and the awareness that the consumption is helpful for health promotion to increase the quality satisfaction compared to price. In addition, it was concluded that in order to induce the purchase of domestic organic products rather than imported organic products, efforts to improve the safety of domestic products, remove the risk of residual pesticides, and increase the reliability of domestic products compared to imported products are needed. Therefore, to reduce the proportion of purchases of imported organic products and increase the consumption of domestic products, raising awareness that the consumption is conducive to health promotion, enhancing the safety of domestic products, and providing accurate information on the safety of imported products are required.

  • Domestic aviation law stipulates methods and matters for safe and efficient navigation in accordance with the International Civil Aviation Convention. Following the International Civil Aviation Convention is very important for aviation safety because it not only presents domestic standards but also ensures that the safety standards presented by ICAO are implemented. If the above criteria are not met, it is a very important regulation as well as domestic legal effect as other member countries can be directly or indirectly affected by intensive monitoring by ICAO even without direct legal sanctions. Domestic aviation safety management conducts safety management evaluation according to USOAP and is considered to have the highest implementation rate among countries that have received USOAP so far. In this paper, we would like to ways to improve by comparing and analyzing how domestic aircraft reflect the contents of Annex 1 based on ICAO Annex 1: Personnel Licensing among the annexes of the ICAO.

Development of Programs to Analyze Mechanical Load Data of Wind Turbine Generator Systems and Case Studies on Simulation Data (풍력발전시스템의 기계적 하중 데이터 분석 프로그램 개발과 시뮬레이션 데이터 적용 사례)

  • The procedures and relevant programs developed for analyzing mechanical load data of wind turbine generator systems, which are obtained through type certification tests, are verified. The following issues according to IEC 61400-13 are covered in the developed programs: data validation, time series analysis, summary load statistics, generation of fatigue load spectra, and estimation of equivalent loads. A capture matrix for normal power production is generated to determine whether the collected data sets are sufficient to carry out fatigue analysis. Fatigue load spectra are obtained through the rainflow counting method using 50 load ranges; finally, equivalent loads are calculated using different S-N curve slopes, m, according to the relevant materials. Case studies are performed using aero-elastic simulation data of the NREL 5 MW baseline wind turbine with a monopile foundation.

A Study on Usage and Satisfaction of Newborn Clothing - Focused on Baenaet Jeogori - (신생아복의 사용 실태 및 만족도 연구 - 배냇저고리를 중심으로 -)

  • This study investigates customers' possession, usage, and satisfaction of newborn clothing, and analyzes their satisfaction with textiles of baenaet jeogori (the most basic Korean item of newborn clothing). The survey was conducted on 102 mothers with infants under 24 months old. The baenaet jeogori was the most commonly possessed item, followed by swaddling blanket, shirt and pants set, bodysuit, one-piece, and baenaet gown. About 52.6% of respondents used the swaddling blanket all day, 52% of respondents possessed 4-6 baenaet jeogories, and most respondents used the baenaet jeogori 4 weeks or more. Two most important selection criteria of the baenaet jeogori were textiles and season suitability which are closely related to functionality. Respondents were satisfied with the baenaet jeogori; however, there are a few problems with difficulty in putting and taking off as well as textiles. Most baenaet jeogories chosen by respondents were made of cotton and 68.8% of them were made of eco-friendly textiles. Respondents were dissatisfied with textiles when they are unsuitable for the season. Eco-friendly textiles were chosen for baby health and eco-friendliness, and respondents were satisfied with a baenaet jeogori made of eco-friendly textiles in general. The results show customers' high interest in textiles and the popularization of newborn clothing made of eco-friendly textiles. There was little interest in eco-friendly or safety certification marks despite the significant interest in the functionality and safety of textiles. Therefore, correct information on those certification marks is required.

  • Recently, the RFID technology is combined with a u-healthcare services is an emerging trend in the field of medical services. u-healthcare service, as covering the field of personal health information beyond the level of simple health screening and treatment of life are closely related. Considering security, invasion of privacy, as well as life may be threatened even if your personal health information to be exposed or exploited illegally u-Healthcare services certification is essential. In 2012, Jeong proposed J-L patient authentication protocol that Initialization process, and patients using RFID technology separates the certification process. Jeong, such as the claim that the proposed protocol for reuse attacks, spoofing attacks, prevent information disclosure and traceability fire safety, but raises issues of security and operations efficiency. Therefore, in this paper, Jeong, such as the security of the proposed protocol and to prove the computational efficiency issues, and to enhance the safety and efficiency of RFID technology based on practical u-Healthcare services authentication protocol is proposed.
