Purpose: This study was to examine the relationships between nurse's perception of patient safety culture and performance for safety nursing activities at rehabilitation hospitals. Methods: This study applied a descriptive research design. Participants were 194 nurses who have provided nursing services for more than 6 months at 4 rehabilitation hospitals located in B metropolitan city. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, $Scheff{\acute{e}}$ test, Pearson's correlation coefficients and multiple regression. Results: There was a positive correlation between the awareness of patient safety culture and safety nursing activity. Multivariate analysis showed that hospital work environment, experience of education, hospital climate, frequency of reported events, and marital status were significantly associated with the safety nursing activity. Overall, approximately 23.1% of total variability in the safety nursing activity could be explained by the 5 variables ($R^2=0.231$, p<.005). Conclusion: Nurses at rehabilitation hospitals are relatively positive about patient safety culture. Therefore, we need to develop safety education programs at the level of organization in order to improve patient safety through performing effective safety nursing activities in addition to increase awareness of patient safety culture among nurses. Furthermore, we need hospital's strategies at the system level for open communication and outcome reports regarding patient safety.

Worldwide, air transport demand of this century is expanding rapidly, and each countries' demand is also increasing. Thus a number of low-cost carriers emerged in existing air transportation business sector and airman qualification check work regarding aviation safety management is increasing too. As the remedy for the result of aviation safety audit by ICAO and FAA in 2001 that governmental activity for aviation safety had been performed by a small number of aviation safety inspectors, airman qualification inspection system implemented by airlines was improved and the government has established the system that authorized airman qualification inspectors check airmen qualification with airlines according to the international trend. This study suggests the need of improvement of airman qualification inspection system that existing inspection system as the means of safety management can be transferred to Operations Safety Inspection(OSI) activity which is compliant with international standards.

By becoming 21st century which run be charactered as highly industrialized society which spreads diversification and individualization, there have been elevation of income level and increase of time for leisure activity by introducing 5 working days system. And this brings out increasing of aquatic leisure activity population and the contents of the leisure becomes very active. Static indoor activity which was the main current of the leisure activity in the past, however, it is now called for outdoor activity accompanied by the society growth and even expands towards that people get into action and experience by their own free will. With this point of view, the aquatic leisure run become a safe activity. But with a rapid growth of aquatic leisure activity, safety concerns become a serious problem. To prevent safety accident, training should be given, safety inspection and registration should be requested, and strong support of system is needed so users can have an insurance for safety accident. These complements are necessary for overall nourishment and management measure to charge in systematical safety for the users.

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to develop the system for safety education needed to develop the textbooks and teachers' teaching-manual for the safety education in elementary schools. Methods: For this study, literature study and survey for the method were combined. the data were analyzed the basic theory on safety and its related contents, utilized the current elementary textbooks for the analysis of safety education and again analyzed the laws and regulations associated with school safety. Furthermore, through the survey, the status of safety education at elementary schools and the requirements for safety education were examined. Results: On the basis of the reality and theory analyzed for safety education, The authors have set up a goal of safety education. The goal is composed of a summative goal and subordinate goals, and the authors categorized safety education areas into 6. Also It is organized the safety education contents based on 17 hours per year by grade into 25 content-goals and 76 activity-factors. The authors, systematizing those activity factors of safety education, suggested a formation by grade. Conclusion: The result of the study is that it is necessary to carry out the safety education at schools on the ground of the contents system related to the safety education. It is expected that this systematic operation of safety education will be a measure which is more efficient and more effective than the current ones and there will be a positive change in the knowledge of, attitude to and behavior for the safety in elementary schools.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to develop a safety education system and its contents for technical high schools including textbooks and instruction manuals for teachers. Methods: Reference materials and surveys were both employed in the study. Basic theory and relevant contents were estimated. The contents of safety education included in the current curriculum in technical high schools were evaluated and the laws and regulations related to safety education in such schools were analyzed by researching references. In addition, the status of safety education in technical high schools and the demand for safety education were reviewed. Results: The goal of safety education has been established based on the status and theory of the estimated safety education, The goal was classified into an overall goal and sub-goals, setting five areas of safety education. Furthermore, the contents of safety education, total 17 hours per year for each grade, were organized into 20 content goals and 47 activity elements. These activity factors of safety education has been systemized by grade. Conclusion: All technical high-schools need to carry out safety education based on the contents related to safety education. The operation of this systematic safety education will be more efficient and effective than the current system and the knowledge, attitude, and behavior regarding safety at technical high schools are expected to undergo positive changes. Moreover, the result from this study will contribute to the establishment of various policies for safety education in technical high schools.

As safety-related regulations for signaling systems are standardized to IEC 61508/62278/62425, and others at the international level, safety activities and its assessment are required to be performed. And also there is the need to develop technologies for safety improvement to secure safety signaling systems in terms of technologies for safety activities on each life-cycle. In this paper we have developed the safety activity processes and technologies each steps of proposed processes respectively for railway signaling systems. And the proposed process and technologies are applied to the safety activities for mock-up signaling systems.

Industrial structure is more developed, the economical value of human resources and the cases which risks worker's Health & Safety is expended. The Safety & Health issues are focused on elements of control for management activity simultaneously with work environment as well as the risk elements which risks worker's life and body. The activity for combination of basic management System and Safety & Health management is progressing with active discussion in ILO, BS 8800 is specified the guidance of Occupational Safety & Health Management System in UK. 1996. This research refers to BS 8800:1996, specification as a basic model, and introduce of the result of certification development result in Occupational Safety & Health management System with in ISO 14001 Environmental System Standards & ISO 9001 Quality Management System Standards and Systemic Factors. Through this applicability and efficiency evaluation, we make an effort to support and to improve the specification. Also applicability evaluation of Occupational Safety & Health management System and the specification developed for the purpose of the third party certification is applied with expending in industry, and the method is presented through the case which is required to support for method review and activities.

A performance measurement system for safety management was suggested with which performance of a company's safety activities can be expressed rationally, and analysis of impact with performance improvement. A key of the measurement system is performance index of the safety management activities, which consists of 3 perspectives; an external perspective, an internal perspective, and a innovation & learning perspective. Every perspective consists of 18 performance indices and each indices consist of activity unit a such planning, support, implementation, evaluation and review.

A considerable number of construction disasters occur on pathways. Safety management is usually performed on construction sites to prevent accidents in activity areas. This means that the safety management level of hazards on pathways is relatively minimized. Many researchers have noted that hazard identification is fundamental to safety management. Thus, algorithms for helping safety managers to identify hazardous areas are developed using automated data collection technology. These algorithms primarily search for potential hazardous areas by comparing workers' location logs based on a real-time location system and optimal routes based on BIM. Potential hazardous areas are filtered by identified hazardous areas and activity areas. After that, safety managers are provided with information about potential hazardous areas and can establish proper safety countermeasures. This can help to improve safety on construction sites.

Purposes : The purpose of this study is to identify factors that have effects on safety activities of hospital personnels by investigating causality between patient safety culture, job stress, safety system and safety activities of faculty and staff member who are working for oriental medicine hospital of university. Methodology : The subjects were 246 employees working in 4 oriental medicine hospitals of university in Daejeon and Chungcheongnam-do. The data were collected from January 16 to January 25, 2017 using a structured questionnaire. For data analysis, descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation coefficient, t-test, ANOVA and Duncan test with SPSS 22.0 were used. Findings : The activity score for patient safety of faculty and staff member, who were experienced at job training program after joining a company and regular training course for qualification or license, was meaningfully higher than that of group who had no job training experience. The result indicated that the higher there is level of safety culture and safety system and the lower there is work stress, the more the activity has positive effect on patient safety. The level score of awareness for safety culture of faculty and staff member in C hospital, which is facing financial crisis in business circumstances recently, showed average value of 3.29. It was significantly lower than that of the other three hospital. Also, The activity score for patient safety was markedly lower than that of the other three hospital. This result become interested in the process of linking non-financial performance and financial performance. The level score of safety activity in A hospital which obtained healthcare accreditation was remarkably higher than that of the other three hospital which didn't certify healthcare accreditation. Pratical Implications : Subjects about Q.I or patient's experience management must be included in curriculum of Oriental medicine. It is necessary to get the effect of job training program for faculty and staff member through the process of preparation for obtaining healthcare accreditation. When the hospital director is appointed, it must be considered that he/she has the ability to attach importance to analysis and management of the factors creating safety accident, and has business mindset for healthcare delivery of customer- centricity. This research showed that financial performance of hospital, which of business environment is favorable; located in metropolitan city and having large scale of hospital and quality of residence rating but low-level of safety culture and safety activity, was lower than that of general hospital situated in small and medium-sized cities. More research needs to be done for answering this result.
