This paper first reviews various techniques proposed for automatic indexing with special emphasis placed on statistical techniques. Frequency-based statistical techniques are categorized into the following three approaches for further investigation on the basis of index term selection criteria: term frequency approach, document frequency approach, and probabilistic approach. In the experimental part of this study, Pao's technique based on the Goffman's transition region formula and Harter's 2-Poisson distribution model with a measure of the potential effectiveness of index term were tested. Experimental document collection consists of 30 agriculture-related documents written in Korean. Pao's technique did not yield good result presumably due to the difference in word usage between Korean and English. However, Harter's model holds some promise for Korean document indexing because the evaluation result from this experiment was similar to that of the Harter's.

본 연구에서는 13개국이 참여하고 있는 수학 수업 국제 비교 연구인 LPS(Learner's perspective Study)의 한국 수업 자료를 수업 조직과 교수 활동의 측면에서 분석하였다. 한국 교사 두 명으로부터 각각 10차시씩, 총 20차시의 수업 자료를 분석한 결과 차시의 흐름에 따라 동일 교사 내에서 수업 조직과 교수 활동이 차이를 보였지만, 두 교사의 수업에 대한 전체적인 평균을 구한 결과 수업 조직과 교수 활동의 세부 항목 비중이 상당히 근접하는 것으로 드러났다. 한편 수업 조직과 교수활동 측면에서 분석한 한국의 결과를 중국(상하이, 홍콩)의 결과와 비교함으로써 우리나라 수업의 특징을 추출하고 수업 개선을 위한 제언을 제시하였다.

최근 공항교통량의 증가로 기존 ILS를 대체 할 시스템이 요구되고 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 지형적 요건이나 공역 등의 문제로 ILS접근절차 수립이 어려운 공항에 GPS장비를 이용한 곡선접근을 적용하였고, 비행시험을 통하여 이를 검증하였다. 한서대학교 태안비행장에 가상 ILS접근 절차를 수립하여 환경 분석 시행 후, GPS를 사용한 곡선접근을 적용하여 비행시험을 토대로 공항 적용 가능성을 평가하였다. 일반적으로 전자지도를 이용하여 절차를 수립 후에 시뮬레이션을 진행하지만, 최근 추세는 전자지도의 정확도와 신뢰도의 상승으로 시뮬레이션 없이 비행시험을 통한 검증으로 수행되는 경향이다. 본 논문에서는 수립된 절차가 비행시험을 통해 검증 및 수정이 이루어졌고 조종사 조종 시험과 자동 조종 시험을 진행하여 조종성 및 승객 안정성 등을 확인하였다.

This study aims to solve for nonlinear cylindrical shell systems with a semi-analytical and numerical approach implementing the P-T method. The procedures and conditions for such a study are presented in practically solving and analyzing the cylindrical shell systems. An analytical model for a nonlinear thick cylindrical shell (TCS) is established on the basis of the stress function and Reddy's higher-order shear deformation theory (HSDT). According to Reddy's HSDT, Hooke's law in three dimensions, and the von-Kármán equation, the stress-strain relations are developed for the thick cylindrical shell systems, and the three coupled nonlinear governing equations are thus established and discretized as per the Galerkin method, for implementing the P-T method. The solution generated with the approach is continuous everywhere in the entire time domain considered. The approach proposed can also be used to numerically solve and analyze the nonlinear shell systems. The procedures and recurrence relations for numerical solutions of shell systems are presented. To demonstrate the application of the approach in numerically solving for nonlinear cylindrical shell systems, a specific nonlinear cylindrical shell system subjected to an external excitation is solved numerically. In numerically solving for the system, the present approach shows higher efficiency, accuracy, and reliability in comparison with that of the Runge-Kutta method. The approach with the P-T method presented is practically sound especially when continuous and high-quality numerical solutions for the shell systems are considered.

Clark 모형의 매개변수 추정방법을 개선하기 위하여, 순간단위도를 gamma 분포형 함수로 가정하여 매개변수를 추정한 후 이를 Clark 모형의 매개변수로 전환하는 간접 추정방법을 제안하였다. 이 방법은 전통적인 Clark 모형의 매개변수 추정방법의 개연적인 부정확성을 개선하는 특징과 더불어 Nash 모형과의 상관성을 파악할 수 있는 장점을 갖고 있다. 제안된 매개변수 추정방법을 위천 유역에 적용한 결과 만족할 수 있는 수준의 추정값을 얻을 수 있었으며 또한 유역의 도달시간-유하면적 관계를 나타내는 합성함수를 구축할 수 있었다. 또한 제안된 매개변수 추정방법은 미계측 유역에 대한 추정에 있어서도 높은 적용성을 보였다. 따라서 제안된 방법론은 기존의 매개변수 추정방법을 보조할 수 있는 충분한 대안으로 판단된다.

In this paper, a formation control method based on the leader-following approach for nonholonomic mobile robots is proposed. In the previous works, it is assumed that the followers know the leader's velocity by means of communication. However, it is difficult that the followers correctly know the leader's velocity due to the contamination or delay of information. Thus, in this paper, an adaptive approach based on the parameter projection algorithm is proposed to estimate the leader's velocity. Moreover, the adaptive backstepping technique is used to compensate the effects of a dynamic model with the unknown time-invariant and time-varying parameters. From the Lyapunov stability theory, it is proved that the errors of the closed-loop system are uniformly ultimately bounded. Simulation results illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed control method.

An approach is presented for efficient numerical integration of the Sormnerfeld type integrals pertinent to the microstrip surface Green's function arising in the problem of an electric current point source on an infinite planar grounded dielectric substrate. This approach, valid for both lossless and lossy dielectric substrates, is based on the deformation of the integration contour via a coordinate transformation and Cauchy's residue theory, and identifies clearly the effects of surface waves. I ts useful application is in a rigorous moment method analysis of micros trip antenna arrays and microstrip guided wave structures. The efficiency and the usefulness of the present approach are emphasized through some numerical calculations of the impedance matrix elements with associated CPU times.

The purpose of the present study is to develop several types of English teaching/learning models in view of cross-curricular approach in Korean elementary school. Brewster(1992)' model is suitable for younger children as well as the 1st or 2nd graders. For 3rd or 4th graders, Halliwel1(1997)' model seems more proper type in Korean EFL situation. There has been studying for cross-curricular approach in elementary English education. Many studies has recently focused the characteristics of elementary students by cognitive and psychological perspectives. Among them, Park(1996)'s research talks about the elementary school students. Han(1996)'s research based on the notion of applied to other subjects. Kim(1999)'s also emphasized the importance of linking other subjects. Kim(2003) argued the need of integrating English with other subjects. The elementary education as the National Common Basic Curriculum(NCBC) has the essence of cross-curricular approach, so the English education will be linked with other subject matters more and more, not just as for Communicative function based English education but as both content and function based subject matter.

This study examined the effects of the Anti-Bias Curriculum(Literature Approach) on children's recognition and attitudes toward handicapped persons. The subjects were 54 non-handicapped 4-year-old kindergarten children. They were assigned to an experimental or a control group, with 27 children in each group. Instruments for the pre- and post-tests were the Survey of Child's Recognition of Handicapped Persons and the Child's Attitudes Toward Handicapped Persons Scale, respectively. The Anti-Bias program(Literature Approach) was developed and applied to the experimental group for 6 weeks. In the experimental group, differences were found between the pre- and post-test scores in recognition and attitudes toward handicapped persons.

Starting from this needs of the times, CRM based on the understanding which company's value coming from the customers is in everyone's mouth. But it can said that it stay in the Immature level at the understanding of this Importance, strategic approach Therefore, the basic objective of this study is to grope the strategic approach that can stand out basic competitive power of department store during the construction of CRM in department store. To achieve the objective of this study, first, we will find out the general error which companies commit during the construction of CRM, second, we will consider the grafting possibility with e-CRM in the case of the CRM's construction in department store. Finally, we will exhibit the conceptual model of department store's CRM which apply the membership card for effectiveness of the Customer Relationship Management.
