$Conform^{TM}$, a continuous extrusion forming process can produce a variety of very long extruded products such as aluminum alloyed wires, strips and profiles, hollow sectioned tubes, coated wires used in the current forming industry. This process has some advantages like as superiority of pre-heating free, availability of high extrusion ratio and continuous forming without stroke limit. But it is still difficult to analyze the realistic model of the process. In this study the analysis using two-dimensional model of $Conform^{TM}$ process together with several parametric investigations on the heat transfer are carried out by FEA code DEFORM $^{TM}2D$. In spite of simple model the results of analysis shows a good guidance to design the real process.

Subjects were two teachers each with higher or with lower play teaching efficacy, and the 111 four and five-year-old children they taught. Using naturalistic observation, children's constructive play was videotaped and transcribed for 60 minutes on ten consecutive days in each classroom. Play was analyzed by level of constructive play, continuous length of play, variety of materials, enrichment of activities, and coherence of content. Constructive play of children whose teachers had higher efficacy in teaching play showed longer continuous play, used a higher variety of materials, and their play had more creative integrity. Five-year-olds exhibited longer continuous play, used a larger variety of play materials, more enrichment of play activity, and more coherence in play contents than four-year-olds.

This study is for the strengthening method of continuous bridge through external tendon strengthening that is the most general and effective among concrete bridge's strengthening method. Recently, it is numerous that slab's parts between spans have continuity for improving trafficable ability. However, in this case, slab would have a crack; bridge's durability would be damaged, and also it is too difficult to manage and maintain bridge due to the tensile strength of negative moment. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to demonstrate load-carrying through experiments and develop new external pre-stressing strengthening method for reinforcing continuous bridge.

In this paper, we shall consider some properties of the metric projection as a set valued mapping. For a set G in a metric space E, the mapping 𝜋_G; x → 𝜋_G(x) of E into 2^G is called set valued metric projection of E onto G. We investigated the properties related to the projection P_S(·)(·) and 𝜋_S(·)(·) as one-sided best simultaneous approximations.

Automatic monitoring of cutting process is one of the most important technology in machining. AE sensing technology has been applied to monitoring process and proved to be effective in detecting tool abnor- malities such as tool wear and fracture. In this experimental study. AE signals were detected from the tool holder for continuous and interrupted cutting, which obtained from changing workpice material configuration, under control of constant cutting speed from CNC lathe. From statistical and frequency analysis, the AE signals were analyzed to obtaining the characteristics of continuous and interrupted cutting conditions and tool failure. The Kurtosis values decreased but RMS voltages increased as the cutting speed increased, in both continuous and interrupted cutting. RMS voltage is suddenly increased but Kurtosis value is suddenly decreased when tool failure condition. Power spectrum density of AE signals when tool failure reaches extreme value around 0.065 cycles/ .mu. m.

Resistance welding processes are widely used in automotive applications. In particular, Mash-Seam resistance welding is typically used in Tailored Blank process. If spot welds are changed to a continuous weld, it's easy to reduce noise and to be more stable in cars. A arc welding, laser welding, seam welding using wheel electrode are available to make continuous welds on a car body, but they demand operator with advanced skills and expensive cost to develop. Therefore, flat electrode continuous mash-seam resistance welding process has been used to improve the weak points in currently available system in lap seam welding. This developed process has much more strength and air tightability, and also has much better plastic workability than laser welding. Moreover, commercial RSW machine can be readily used in this welding process.

Deadbeat property is well established in digital control system design, But in continuous time, it can hardly realized for it's asymtotic property. But recently japanese researchers suggested serveral method for continuous time deadbeat property. They use delay elements In polynomials and established for the deadbeat condition. By solving this condition, unknown coefficients in polynomials with delay elements is obtained. In this paper, design method for optimal continuous time deadbeat servo system using 2nd order smooting elementsis studied. Continuous time deadbeat controller is consisted of serial integral compensator and local feedback one in state feedback loop. Determining method for damping rations and natural frequencies of smothing elements is described. By computer simulations, control inputs and system outputs are shown to have desirable property such as smoothness.

In this paper, a Mobile Continuous Query Processing System (MCQPS) is designed to solve problems related to database hoarding, maintenance of shared data consistency, and optimization of logging. These problems are caused by weak connectivity and disconnection of wireless networks inherent in mobile database systems under mobile client-server environments. We show the superiority of the proposed MCQPS by comparing its performance to the Client-Intercept-Server (C-I-S) model. In addition, several experimental results show the effectiveness of our proposed indexing structure and methodology for real-time continuous queries.
