규칙기반 모델링에 의한 하계망 일반화에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Cartographic Generalization of Stream Networks by Rule-based Modelling)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 규칙기반 모델링을 구성하여 하계망을 일반화하고자 하였다. 그 동안 지도 일반화에 대한 연구는 제한된 지도요소를 대상으로 선형사상의 형태변형을 위한 알고리즘 개발과 평가에 집중되었다. 규칙 기반 모델링은 지도제작 원리와 공간현상의 분포패턴을 분석하여, 그 결과를 일반화 과정에 적용하기 때문에 기존의 일반화 알고리즘 개선에 도움이 된다. 규칙기반 모델링은 다양한 지도요소들을 대상으로 일반화를 적용할 수 있고, 디지털 환경하에서 다축척 지도제작에 효과적이다. 본 연구에서 개발된 하계망 규칙기반 모델링은 일반화 규칙, 중심선 추출 그리고 선형사상 일반화 알고리즘으로 구성된다. 일반화를 적용하기 앞서, 하계망은 논리적 오류를 최소화하기 위해 저수지와의 연결관계를 분석하였다. 모델을 적용한 결과, 108개의 실폭 하천 중 17개 하천이 중심선으로 추출되었다. 하천의 총길이는 1:25,000에서 17%, 1:50,000에서는 29%로 감소하였다. 선형사상 일반화를 위해 개발된 Simoo 알고리즘은 Douglas-Peucker 알고리즘과 비교하였다. Doug]as-Peucker 알고리즘은 자료점 간격과 편각이 커지게 되어 선의 형태가 거칠어지는 반면, Simoo 알고리즘에서 선형사상은 축척이 감소함에 따라 보다 완만해진다.

Optimization of productivity in the rehabilitation of building linked to BIM

  • In this paper, building information modelling (BIM) associated to the principle of significant items emerged at quantities and costs in the optimization of productivity related to the rehabilitation of the building where proposed and discussed. A quantitative and qualitative study related to the field of application based on some parameters such as pathology diagnosis, projects documents and bills of quantities were used for model development at the preliminary stage of this work. The study identified 14 quantities significant items specified to cost value based on the use of the 80/20 Pareto rule, through the integration of building information modelling (BIM) in the optimisation of labour productivity for rehabilitation of buildings. The results of this study reveal the reliability and the improvement of labour productivity using building information modelling process integrating quantities and cost significant items.

  • The control process involving pure time delays presents a continuing challenge to the control system engineer. The nonlinear nature of the delay which can be introduced into the system make the use of conventional control algorithms a poor prospect. The Smith Predictor was developed to alleviate this problem. Unfortunately the quality of control achieved with the Smith Predictor is known to be sensitive to modelling errors. Only recently have researchers attempted to quantify the Smith Predictor controller's robustness to modelling errors. In several studies stability boundaries were plotted as functions of errors in parameters. But the research results address the question of performance of Smith Predictor controllers, In this paper, the Rule based Expert Systems for performance improvement of the Smith Predictor controller are developed.

  • Fuzzy modelling has the approximation property far the given input-output relationship. Especially, Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy models are widely used because they show very good performance in the nonlinear function approximation problem. But generally there is not the systematic method incorporating the human expert's knowledge or experience in fuzzy rules and it is not easy to End the membership function of fuzzy rule to minimize the output error as well. The ANFIS (Adaptive Network-based Fuzzy Inference Systems) is one of the neural network based fuzzy modelling methods that can be used with various type of fuzzy rules. But in this model, it is the problem to End the optimum number of fuzzy rules in fuzzy model. In this paper, a new fuzzy modelling method based on the ANFIS and pruning techniques with the measure named impact factor is proposed and the performance of proposed method is evaluated with several simulation results.

BPEL 규칙 모델링을 위한 규칙 기반 BPEL 시스템 설계와 구현 (Design and Implementation of Rule-based BPEL System for BPEL Rule Modeling)

  • BPEL은 작업의 순서를 기술하는 워크플로우의 표준으로서, 웹 서비스를 기반으로 하는 분산 컴퓨팅 환경의 많은 응용 분야에 적용되고 있다. BPEL의 요구사항이 복잡해지면서 규칙기반의 엔진이 요구되고 있다. 본 논문은 BPEL 문법을 그대로 이용하면서 규칙을 추가하기 위해 규칙을 기술할 수 있는 R4BPEL 문서를 제안하고 규칙 웹 서비스를 이용하여 BPEL에 규칙을 사용할 수 있도록 제안한다. BPEL 엔진에 규칙 기능을 추가하기 위해서는 BPEL 엔진을 새롭게 개발하거나 수정해야 하는데, 이 방법은 많은 비용이 많이 필요하다. 제안하는 방법은 기존의 범용 BPEL 시스템에 규칙 웹 서비스와 R4BPEL 문서 분석기를 추가하여 손쉽게 규칙 기반의 BPEL 환경을 구성할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 제안하는 시스템에서의 BPEL 문서와 기존 방식의 BPEL 문서를 비교하여 제안하는 시스템의 규칙 기반 BPEL 문서가 단순함을 보인다.

  • In general many engineers can diagnose the fault condition using the abnormal ones among data monitored from a diesel engine, but they don't need the system modelling or identification for the work. They check the abnormal data and the relationship and then catch the fault condition of the engine. This paper proposes the construction of a fault diagnosis engine through malfunction data gained from the data fault detection system of neural networks for diesel generator engine, and the rule inference method to induce the rule for fuzzy inference from the malfunction data of diesel engine like a site engineer with a fuzzy system. The proposed fault diagnosis system is constructed in the sense of the Malfunction Diagnosis Engine(MDE) and Hierarchy of Malfunction Hypotheses(HMH). The system is concerned with the rule reduction method of knowledge base for related data among the various interactive data.

  • Unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) research is recently actively underway. Especially, fuel cell battery hybrid systems are widely used to overcome the limitations of continuous operation. However, fuel cell systems must be operated in combination with a battery due to their low specific output characteristics. Therefore, a hybrid power system model for UAVs is developed. The rule-based strategy is applied to the model to properly distribute power to batteries and fuel cells. As a result, the designed rule-based power distribution control operates UAVs while maintaining battery state of charge(SOC) at an appropriate level.

  • The computed-torque method (CTM) shows good trajectory tracking performance in controlling robot manipulator if there is no disturbance or modelling errors. But with the increase of a payload or the disturbance of a manipulator, the tracking errors become large. So there have been many researchs to reduce the tracking error. In this paper, we propose a new control algorithm based on the CTM that decreases a tracking error by generating new reference trajectory to the controller. In this algorithm we used a fuzzy system based on the rule bases. For the numerical simulation, we used a 2-link robot manipulator. To simulate the disturbance due to a modelling uncertainty, we added errors to each elements of the inertia matrix and the nonlinear terms and assumed a payload to the end-effector. In the simulations of several cases, our method showed better trajectory tracking performance compared with the CTM.

  • This study describes computer-aided design system for stepped asymmetric forgings. To establish the appropriate process sequence, an integrated approach based on a rule-base system was accomplished. This system has four modules, which are undercut prevention module, shape cognition module, 3D modelling module and corner/fillet correction module. These modules can be used independently or at all. The proposed shape cognition method could be widely used in forging design of asymmetric parts.

  • We are developing an automatic adjusting system for ITC. ITC(Integrated Tube Components) has a large set-by-set variability in its characteristics. And it also has nonlinearities. It requires not only a fast vision process but also an efficient control algorithm to meet the need for high productivity. In this paper, the description of an adjusting system and the modelling of ITC will be presented. And also the concept of a new rule based hierarchical algorithmic approaches will be suggested.
