  • The task of association rule mining is to find certain association relationships among a set of data items in a database. There are three primary measures for association rule, support and confidence and lift. In this paper we developed a association rule ranking function using conditional probability increment ratio. We compared our function with several association rule ranking functions by some numerical examples. As the result, we knew that our decision function was better than the existing functions. The reasons were that the proposed function of the reference value is not affected by a particular association threshold, and our function had a value between -1 and 1 regardless of the range for three association thresholds. And we knew that the ranking function using conditional probability increment ratio was very well reflected in the difference between association rule measures and the minimum association rule thresholds, respectively.

  • The purpose of this study was to find out the linkage between emotional display rules and emotional labor strategy and the affects of the display rule factors on the emotional labor strategy. The participants of this study were 268 childcare teachers in Seoul, and the collected data were analyzed using correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis. The results were as follows: First, display rule perception was positively related to deep acting and surface acting. And the deep acting was positively related to display rule education, commitment, fairness of display rule, and explicit display rule. Second, display rule perception has a positive effect on deep acting and surface acting. And the commitment to display rule has a positive effect on deep acting. This study provided practical implications to help childcare teachers' emotional labor, and suggested directions for the education program for the emotional competence of childcare teachers.

  • This paper attempts to improve domestic natural gas pricing system, thereby optimizing social welfare. This is done by deriving theoretical frameworks of natural gas pricing, which make use of both Ramsey component pricing rule and Efficient component pricing rule based on the theory of marginal cost. Allocative efficiency and social welfare between gas prices derived from the three pricing mechanism, present Cost-based pricing, Ramsey component pricing rule and Efficient component pricing rule, are analysed and compared in the case study. For the city gas, allocative efficiency of Cost-based pricing is higher than that of Ramsey component pricing rule and Efficient component pricing rule. In contrast, for the natural gas consumed for power generation, allocative efficiency of Cost-based pricing is lower than the other two pricing systems. It also turns out that social welfare is improved by the prices driven from Ramsey component pricing rule and Efficient component pricing rule rather than present Cost-based pricing.

  • Rule-based paradigm is one of the principal types of software process modeling and enaction approaches, as they provide formality and flexibility sufficient to handle complex processes. However, the systems adopting rule-based paradigms are hard to define and understand process models, and their inference engine should be modified or redeveloped at worst according to the change of process language. In this paper, we describe a rule-based PSEE(Process-Centered Software Engineering Environment) PRAiSE that solves the above limitations of existing rule-based PSEEs as well as maintains the merits of rule-based paradigm such as the ability to incorporate the nature of software processes flexibly in which dynamic changes and parallelism are pervasive and prevalent. PRAiSE provides RAiSE, a graphical Process modeling language, and defined process models are interpreted and enacted by process engine implemented using CLiPS, a rule based expert system tool.

  • In data mining, association rule is a popular and well researched method for discovering interesting relations between variables. There are three measures for association rule, support, confidence and lift. But there are some problem in them. They don't consider the frequency of variable in case. So, we need the new association rule which consider the frequency. In this paper, we proposed the new association rule. We compared the proposed association rule with the original association rule from example data. As a result, we knew our function was better than the original function in terms of sensitivity.

  • This paper propose the alteraton rule to compensate a formant trasition of several connected vowels for improving an unnatural synthesized continuous speech which is concatenated by each demisyllable without coarticulated formant transition for use in dmisyllable based synthesis by rule. To fullfill each formant transition part, the database of 42 stationary vowels which are segmented from the stable part of each vowels is appended to the one of Korean demisyllables, and the resonance circuit used in formant synthesis is employed to change the formant frequency of speech signals. To evaluate the synthesied speech by this rule, we carried out the alteration rule for connected vowels of the synthesized speech based on demisyllable, and compare spectrogram and MOS tested scores with the original and the demisyllable based synthesized speech without this rule. The result shows that this proposed rule can synthesize the more natural speech.

  • A collaborative filtering which supports personalized services of users has been common use in existing web sites for increasing the satisfaction of users. A collaborative filtering is demanded that items are estimated more than specified number. Besides, it tends to ignore information of other users as recommending them on the basis of information of partial users who have similar inclination. However, there are valuable hidden information into other users' one. In this paper, we use Association Rule, which is common wide use in Data Mining, with collaborative filtering for the purpose of discovering those information. In addition, this paper proved that Association Rule applied to Recommender System has a effects to recommend users by the relation between groups. In other words, Association Rule based on the history of all users is derived from. and the efficiency of Recommender System is improved by using Association Rule with collaborative filtering.

  • In this study, the water supply reliability of the andong and Imha dam was analyzed using inflow data for 360 months from 1993 to 2022 through allocation model. First, in the analysis results of additional water supply to Deagu city, the water supply reliability of Rule (B) was the highest at 86% for andong dam, 84% for imha dam, and 80% for the control point. However, when the planned supply was supplied, the analysis results showed 94%, 93%, and 90%. Next, in the quantitative reliability analysis results, when considering additional water supply to Deagu city, Rule (A), Rule (B), and Rule (C) were analyzed as 88%, 88%, and 88%, respectively, based on the control point. When supplying the planned water supply, the quantitative reliability analysis results were 95% equally based on Rule (A), Rule (B), and Rule (C). Because of evaluating the two reliability methods, the number of shortages increases significantly when additional water is supplied to Daegu City, but the shortage is generally 5-7%, resulting in a relatively small shortage compared with the increase in the number of shortages. In the case of resilience and vulnerability, additional water supply to Daegu City takes more than two months to restore than the existing planned water supply, and the average shortage was calculated to be smaller than that of supplying the planned water. According to the results of the analysis, Andong dam has an average water storage of 130x106 m2 and Imha dam has 50x106 m2. In this deficient water supply can be compensated by water from the Nakdong river.

  • This paper will look into the Main Substance and Some Problems of 24 hours Advance Cargo Manifest Declaration Rule, focuses on the Policy implication of Korea's and counter measures of our parties concerned about 24-hour advance vessel manifest rule. The 24-hour rule requires cargo owners to submit cargo manifest information to U.S. Customs 24 hours before vessel sailing from the final foreign port to a U.S. port. Cargo manifest information must be complete, accurate, and timely. As of February 2, 2003 manifest information can be submitted by paper or electronically. Cargo descriptions must be at a level of detail consistent with Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) codes used by U.S. Customs. HTS codes are 10 digits. Electronic submissions are made via the Automated Manifest System (AMS) run by U.S. Customs.
