Consumer innovativeness plays a vital role in explaining consumer dynamics, such as adoption, usage, and behavioral intention, in the new world of disruptive online media. This empirical study aimed to examine the importance of consumer innovativeness and digital literacy in the adoption and expansion of new technology-based media services, focusing on OTT services. Extending the theory of adoption of new technologies by innovators to new media environment centered on OTT services, it examines the influence of the four dimensions of motivated consumer innovativeness on OTT service usage. The Korea Media Panel Data of 2019, where overall ICT usage and media consumption of a broad panel of respondents was collected, was used for the analysis. From the data of 10,864 respondents, 4,031 (37.1%) were found to have experience in using OTT services. To clarify the mediating effect of digital literacy on the correlations between cognitive innovativeness of consumers and their use of OTT services, Process Macro Model 4 was used. The bootstrap method was applied to reveal that all four dimensions of consumer innovativeness have a significant indirect effect on new media usage through digital literacy, thus indicating how digital literacy plays an important role in the spread of new digital services in addition to consumer innovativeness. The findings are important in that they can help in the efforts to introduce new technologies to the public and educate them to improve their digital literacy so that they can enjoy the complete experience of using these new digital products.

Objective: The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of childcare teachers' active motivation for choosing a profession on the quality of their interaction with infants and toddlers, and to investigate the moderating effect of their emotional dysregulation. Methods: The subjects of this study were childcare teachers working with infants and toddlers. A mobile survey was conducted and a total of 282 sets of results have been collected. Moderating effects have been explored with the use of PROCESS Macro (version 3.5) Model 1. Results: The main findings showed that childcare teachers' emotional dysregulation played a moderating role in the effect of childcare teachers' active motivation on the quality of interaction with infants and toddlers. Conclusion/Implications: The results of this study imply that the ability of childcare teachers working with infants and toddlers to regulate their emotions can simultaneously play a role as a protective factor as well as a risk factor for the quality of interaction. Also, it was revealed that is necessary to give pre-service teachers an opportunity to deliberate on their motivations for a childcare teacher position.

경찰의 성폭력 수사행동을 결정하는 요인을 조사하고자, 경찰의 인지 및 태도(수사임무에 대한 법지식, 보호연계임무에 대한 인지, 성폭력에 대한 편견)와 실제 수사행동(적극적 수사와 이차폭력)의 관계를 검증하기 위한 이론적 모델을 설정하였다. 경남지역 세 도시의 남성경찰 354명으로부터 수집된 설문조사 자료를 토대로 구조방정식 모형검증을 실시한 결과 최종모델이 발견되었다(CFI=0.947,IFI=0.948, RMSEA=0.048). 분석결과, 적극적 수사행동을 결정짓는 요인은 수사임무에 대한 법지식, 보호연계임무에 대한 인지, 성폭력에 대한 편견인 것으로 나타났다. 수사임무에 대한 법지식과 보호연계임무에 대한 인지가 높을수록 적극적 수사행동이 증가되며, 반면 성폭력에 대한 편견은 적극적 수사행동을 감소시키는 것으로 나타났다. 한편, 이차폭력 행동을 결정짓는 요인은 수사임무에 대한 법지식인 것으로 나타났다. 수사임무에 대한 법지식이 높을수록 이차폭력 행동이 감소되었다. 특히, 성폭력에 대한 편견은 직접적으로 적극적 수사행동을 감소시킬 뿐 아니라, 수사임무에 대한 법지식과 적극적 수사, 보호연계임무에 대한 인지와 적극적 수사 사이에서 매개역할을 하는 것으로 나타났다. 연구결과를 토대로 적극적 수사를 강화하고 이차폭력을 최소화하기 위한 방안으로 성폭력관련 법에 대한 교육, 수사지침의 재정비, 의식전환 프로그램, 경찰의 전문화, 수사환경의 개선, 사회복지사와의 연계체계 구축 등이 제안되었다.

This paper employs an Overlapping Generations Model to quantify the impacts of Korea's demographic transition toward an older population on the total output growth rate. The model incorporates the projected population through 2060 according by Statistics Korea. The effects of the low fertility and increased life expectancy rates are studied. The model is considered suitable for analyzing the effects of demographic changes on the Korean economy. Under the assumption that the TFP growth rate will not slow considerably in the future, remaining at 1.3% per annum, the gross output growth rate of the Korean economy is projected to slow to 1.1% per annum in the 2050s, from 4.0% in the 2000s. The shrinking workforce due to the decline in fertility plays a significant role in the deceleration of the Korean economy. The increased life expectancy rate is expected to mitigate the negative effect, but the magnitude of its effect is found to be limited.

As information technology rapidly develops and the period required to enter new technology shortens, there emerges a wide variety of alternatives for consumers. When there are many alternatives in the market, users choose after making comparisons. This process of making comparisons is our research key. We established a research model to find a mixed effect that comes from new attitudes to technology adoption and alternative's continuous usage intention. The effect is revealed through a relative attractiveness (RA) factor to explain a user's process of comparison. We empirically test our research model in the new media services, such as mobile TV, web TV, and mobile IPTV. According to our research results, a continuous usage intention of an existing technology is an important factor to explain the adoption of a new technology. So, the contribution of our research is in finding a role for the RA factor in research in new technology adoption.

The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of interactivity on consumers' mental imagery, attitude toward a product, confidence in evaluation and purchase intention. The proposed model was examined by conducting an experiment using mock apparel websites. A total of 1,009 female college students enrolled at a major midwestern university in the USA participated in the experiment. A structural equation model was used to test the model. The results of the study indicate that interactivity positively influenced mental imagery, attitudes toward a product imagery, and confidence in evaluation. The structural equation model also revealed that mental imagery positively influenced attitude toward a product and confidence in evaluation. Finally, the results show that attitude toward a product and confidence in judgment positively affected purchase intention. The study provides valuable theoretical perspectives which aide in the understanding of the effect of interactivity on consumers' cognitive and behavioral responses, and helps retailers develop effective marketing strategies.

The aim of this study is to propose a Bayesian model for fitting mortality rate of colon cancer. For the analysis of mortality rate of a disease, factors such as age classes of population and spatial characteristics of the location are very important. The model proposed in this study allows the age class to be a random effect in addition to its conventional role as the covariate of a linear regression, while the spatial factor being a random effect. The model is fitted using Metropolis-Hastings algorithm. Posterior expected predictive deviances, standardized residuals, and residual plots are used for comparison of models. It is found that the proposed model has smaller residuals and better predictive accuracy. Lastly, we described patterns in disease maps for colon cancer.

본 연구는 대학생의 창업에 있어 기업가적 태도가 창업기회 인식과 대학생의 창업잠재성에 미치는 영향 관계를 확인하였다. 이에 대학생의 창업잠재성 제고에 영향을 미치는 기업가적 태도 및 창업기회 인식 형성에 유의미한 영향 관계를 확인하고 창업교육과 역할모델에 따른 변수 간 영향 관계를 분석하였다. 연구결과를 요약하면 첫째, 창의성, 리더십, 개인통제는 정보탐색에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 통찰력과 성취감은 통계적으로 정보탐색에 유의한 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 창의성, 리더십, 통찰력이 정보결합에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 성취감과 개인통제는 통계적으로 정보결합에 유의한 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 창의성, 리더십, 개인통제는 기회포착에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며 통찰력과 성취감은 기회포착에 통계적으로 유의한 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 정보탐색, 기회포착은 인지된 창업가망성에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며 정보결합은 통계적으로 인지된 창업가망성에 유의한 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 다섯째, 정보탐색, 기회포착은 인지된 창업타당성에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며 정보결합은 통계적으로 인지된 창업타당성에 유의한 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 기업가적 태도와 창업기회 인식 간의 관계에서 창업교육프로그램은 유의미한 조절적 역할을 하는 것으로 나타났으며, 창업기회 인식과 창업잠재성 간의 관계에서 역할 모델은 유의미한 역할을 하는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 대학 및 정부 차원에서 지원하고 있는 창업교육 활동의 대상인 대학생의 창업교육과 역할모델 효과에 대해 살펴보고, 창업에 대한 지각된 열망과 지각된 실행가능성이 형성되어야만 창업의도로 이어지기 때문에 바로 창업을 하지 않은 대학생의 창업잠재성관련 시사점을 제언하였다.

The low molecular weight zinc-binding protein metallothionein(MT) contains 32% cysteine and has been shown to efficiently scavenge hydroxyl radicals in vitro. MT expression is induced by oxidative stress and an antioxidant role for this protein has therefore been proposed. This review mainly focuses on the evidence for this role arising from studies using genetically modified animals and cells which either over- or under-express MT. Despite some considerable disparity of results in the literature, reported studies do generally support an antioxidant role. Nevertheless, oxidant stress at non-physiological treatment levels has been the preferred experimental model and there is little information about the role of MT in physiological oxidative stress. Although it is presumed that the mechanism by which MT has an antioxidant effect involves oxidation of cysteinal thiols, it is possible that zinc release from MT is in itself an important signalling factor.
