  • Self-efficacy is a person's perceived capability to perform a behavior. We have studied the antecedents of selfefficacy, and its moderating role on the relationship between job characteristics and job satisfaction. Data is collected through questionnaire from 910 employees of 6 large hospitals in Korea. The results show that individual's internal locus of control has positive relationship with selfefficacy and self-efficacy has positive relationship with job satisfaction. Contrary to the hypothesis, supervisors' transformational leadership doesn't show any relations with selfefficacy. The moderating role of self efficacy on the relationship between job characteristics and job satisfaction is supported. These results suggest that hospital managers should manage the selfefficacy as an important instrument of enhancing productivity and employee satisfaction.

This study was conducted in several village-based enterprises in Bali, Indonesia and the data were collected using questionnaires. Furthermore, the collected data were analyzed quantitatively using partial least analysis to confirm the relationship between variables. The findings indicate that human resource competency has an impact on governance, but it failed to explain the productivity of village-based enterprises. In addition, economic potential can have an impact on the governance and productivity of village-based enterprises in Bali, Indonesia. This study also showed a robust link between governance and productivity. • This study examines the relationship between intrinsic motivation and individuals' performance in the Republic of Korea armed forces and explores whether job stress mediates the relationship between intrinsic motivation and individuals' performance. The research questions are: (1) Does intrinsic motivation influence individual performance in military organizations? (2) Does job stress impact individual performance? and (3) Does job stress mediate the relationship between intrinsic motivation and individual performance? The study utilizes data collected from a 350 soldiers survey in the Special Forces Brigade and Special Assault Commando Regiment of the Republic of Korea's Army. We use structural equation modeling (SEM) to explore the mediation role among intrinsic motivation, job stress, and individuals' performance. Research findings suggest that intrinsic motivation negatively impacts job stress. We also find that job stress has a positive effect on firearm skills. Moreover, the study reveals that the relationship between intrinsic motivation and firearm skills is partially mediated by job stress.

Perceived self-efficacy and sick-role behavioral compliance had a positive correlation which was statistically significant(r=0.77, p<0.001). 3. There were statistically significant difference in perceived self-efficacy according to age(p<0. 01) and acknowledgment of prescribed calories in the diabetic diet(p<0.001). 4. There were statistically significant difference in sick-role behavioral compliance according to age (p<0.01) and acknowledgment of prescribed calories in the diabetic diet (p<0.001). These results suggest that perceived self-efficacy is an important variable in the compliance of diabetic children. Nursing intervention needs to be directed at promoting perceived self-efficacy to maintain sickrole behavioral compliance for diabetic children.
