There are a variety of factors which affect the brand equity that a company commands in the market. Integrated Marketing Communication (IMC) is an emerging concept in marketing wherein all the major promotional activities are used to create a synergic output and send across a clear and consistent message to the customers. This study aims to find out the impact of five major tools of IMC namely Advertising, Word of Mouth, Sales Promotion, Event Sponsorships and Public Relations which are most applicable in the QSR industry on the four major dimensions namely Brand Awareness, Brand Association, Perceived Quality and Brand Loyalty which aid in creating Brand Equity. The study was conducted by collecting data from a sample and analyzing the data using statistical tools to find any relationships between the above mentioned variables. The findings suggest that marketers should focus on building favorable opinion about the brand amongst customers and take care regarding the news published about the brand since it affects brand image. Moreover, it was also found out that making people aware about the brand and the perceived quality about the brand play the major role in creating brand equity more than other factors.

  • Utilizing spaces for awareness could be superficially noble. However, the typology of spaces played an important role in addressing the awareness of translating the messages through tangible forms, which in this context are sculptures. Assuring the efficacy of the typology of the spaces that is compatible with the content is important to ensure its timelessness to the dynamic demographical change of viewers. Therefore, the study proposes an investigation of the efficacy of typology of public urban space; garden that accommodates memorial sculptures. The study intends to analyze the features and flaws of ASEAN Sculpture Garden, as a mediatory role of ASEAN in instilling awareness of unity between ASEAN members to the public. The objective of the study is to analyze the efficacy of the garden to accommodate the rich memorial sculptures. The body of the research is formed by theoretical and case study research. It is projected by three methods; archival research, semi structured interviews and site documentation; direct observations and site visit. The qualitative data then will be analysed using Actor Network theory, keyword coding and site findings. Findings showed that as the main objective of the garden is to exhibit the sculptures, it could be summed up that it has failed to meet the apparent intention based on the site analysis conducted by the researcher. The typology of the space should be able to communicate the project's aims continuously rather than serving the function temporarily. The variables, which are space and time factors are debatable, as the neighboring tourist spot, National Monument residing the wide square managed to attract public attention due to its great efficacy of typological space regardless the time factor. As a conclusion, the typology of space is a huge factor to ensure the park's success.

  • This study sought to verify and examine the factors that influence social capital on social economy awareness. To summarize the results of the study, the results are as follows. As a result of analyzing the impact of social capital on social economy awareness, norms (t=3.228, p<.01) and participation (t=3.057, p<.01) had a significant impact on social economy awareness. In other words, the better the norms are observed and the higher the participation, the more influence it has on social economy awareness. Based on these results, the following implications were drawn. First, 'norms' refer to rules or standards that community members must adhere to within society, and these norms play a role in regulating the behavior of individuals and promoting social cooperation. Through this, it is believed that a strong normative system can have a significant impact on the way people participate or cooperate in social economy activities. Second, 'participation' is an indicator of how actively an individual or group participates in social activities. People with high levels of participation through social capital will have a high level of understanding of social economy awareness and will be able to act effectively. These results show that in previous studies, the better the norms were observed and the more trust and networks were strengthened, the higher the awareness of social economy. In contrast, in this study, norms and trust were found to have an effect, but the network did not, showing a difference from the results of previous studies, so repeated research is expected to be necessary in the future. Considering the results above, strengthening and developing the elements of social capital such as norms and participation can have a positive impact on overall socioeconomic awareness and development.
