도시홍수 수문모의를 위한 GIS 자료구축 및 분포형 모델링 기법 연구 (A Study on GIS Data Development and Distributed Modeling for Hydrological Simulation of Urban Flood)

  • 본 연구는 평택시($12.2km^2$)를 대상으로 시내의 각 도로를 따라 흐르는 홍수유출을 모의하기 위하여 분포형 도시홍수 유출 모형을 개발하고, 그 적용가능성을 제시하고자 하였다. 도로를 따라 유출이 모의되는 것을 처리하기 위하여 도로망을 이용하여 Agree burn한 수치표고모델의 준비를 제안하였으며, 본 연구에서는 모형의 입력자료로 적합한 도로해상도를 15m로 결정하였다. 모형의 적용가능성을 평가하기 위하여 32개의 도로지점을 선정하여 각 도로지점별 유출곡선을 모의한 결과, 고지대에서 저지대로의 도로유출이 합리적으로 모의되었으며, 도로에서의 빗물배제량을 고려한 도로지점별 모의결과도 합리적으로 모의됨을 확인할 수 있었다.

Dynamic behaviour of high-sided road vehicles subject to a sudden crosswind gust

  • High-sided road vehicles are susceptible to a sharp-edged crosswind gust, which may cause vehicle accidents such as overturning, excessive sideslip, or exaggerated rotation. This paper thus investigates the dynamic behaviour and possible accidents of high-sided road vehicles entering a sharp-edged crosswind gust with road surface roughness and vehicle suspension included. The high-sided road vehicle is modelled as a combination of several rigid bodies connected by a series of springs and dampers in both vertical and lateral directions. The random roughness of road surface is generated from power spectral density functions for various road conditions. The empirical formulae derived from wind tunnel test results are employed to determine aerodynamic forces and moments acting on the vehicle. After the governing equations of motion are established, an extensive computation work is performed to examine the effects of road surface roughness and vehicle suspension on the dynamic behaviour and vehicle accidents. It is demonstrated that for the high-sided road vehicle and wind forces specified in the computation, the accident vehicle speed of the road vehicle running on the road of average condition is relatively smaller than that running on the road of very good condition for a given crosswind gust. The vehicle suspension system should be taken into consideration, and the accident vehicle speed becomes smaller if the vehicle suspension system has softer springs and lighter dampers.

토목섬유를 이용한 임도 노면의 안정성 예비 분석 (Preliminary Analysis of Stabilization of Forest Road Surface Using Geosynthetics)

  • This study conducted shear strength test and plate bearing test to look into the characteristics of bearing capacity using geosynthetics case on forest road surface. The shear strength test showed that the internal friction angle at the time when geosynthetics was used was measured larger on average than that in the unreinforced case. Therefore, using geosynthetics case produced more bearing capacity reinforcement effect. The result from the comparison test of internal friction angle by geosynthetics type revealed that the internal friction angle at the time when geotextile case was used was measured larger. That was attributable to the difference between the area of the total cross section of geotextile made in type of non-woven fabric and its material. Plate bearing test showed that the settlement at the time when geosynthetics was used was measured smaller than that in the unreinforced case. Therefore, using geosynthetics produced more bearing power reinforcement effect. The result from the comparison test showed that geogrid case was measured smaller than geotextile case. Henceforth, It is seemed that it will be necessary to keep studying the reinforcement engineering and process of forest road surface which fits the characteristics and conditions of geosynthetics to prevent forest road demage.

신설국도의 시험시공을 통한 표층용 개질 아스팔트 공용성 평가 (Evaluation of Performance and Construction the New National Test Road Sites of Modified Asphalt)

  • 국내 아스팔트 포장은 중차량 교통량의 증가와 겨울철 및 여름철의 온도차이가 크게나는 환경조건하에서 공용되고 있다. 이러한 요인으로 인하여 포장 조기파손의 대부분인 소성변형의 문제점이 심각하며, 이에 대한 개선책으로 개질 아스팔트의 적용에 대한 연구들이 활발하게 진행되고 있다. 그러나, 대부분의 개질 아스팔트의 사용이 표층을 절삭하고 택코팅후 시공되고 있으며, 신설도로의 포장이 아닌 유지보수에서 많이 사용되고 있다. 본 연구는 부산지방국토관리청 산하의 신설국도의 도로포장현장에 개질 아스팔트 혼합물이 적용된 기층 위에 표층용 개질 아스팔트인 SBS PMA 혼합물과 PSMA 혼합물에 대하여 2차로로 200m를 시험 시공하였으며. 나머지 구간은 일반밀입도 아스팔트 혼합물로 시공하였으며, 시공에 사용된 재료에 대한 실내시험을 통한 공용성 및 장기 공용성 평가를 실시하고자 하였다. 실내 실험은 마샬안정도시험, 강도시험과 휠트랙킹 시험을 하여 분석하였으며, 현장의 시험 시공시 온도관리 및 평탄성에 대한 평가를 기초로 향후 장기 공용성 평가와 LCC 분석을 실시하여 가장 경제적인 개질 아스팔트를 평가하여 설계에 반영하고자 한다.

도로면 측정 분석 시스템 개발 및 국내 도로면 특성평가 응용 연구 (Development of the Road Profiling System and Evaluation of Korean Roads Roughness Characteristics)

  • The ‘AEIPR’(Accelerometer Established Inertial Profiling Reference) method has been applied to measure the road profile. The dynamic road profiling method using AEIPR has the advantages of cost effectiveness, measuring speed and relatively high reliability. However, it is required to improve the double integration algorithm to get the measurement results with the accuracy of hither level. In the first part of this paper, the effective double integration algorithm is suggested and the ‘Road Profiler’ software is developed on the basis of the algorithm. Road profiling tests are performed using the developed ‘Road Profiler’ system on the specially designed tracks for the durability tests and the various types of pubic roads. Test results are shown and evaluated by the international road evaluation indicies and classification.

주행시험에 의한 대형 트럭의 주행진동 특성 분석 (Vibration Analysis of a Heavy Truck via Road Tests)

  • Electronic equipments and a missile carried by heavy trucks are often subjected to vibration and shock excitation during their transportation. Electronic equipments are so vulnerable to vibration and shock input that it is necessary to know in advance the vibration level of the truck which cause the damage of equipments. Road tests of a heavy truck carrying a canister on different road conditions such as paved road, unpaved road, and washboard are performed and the effect of road conditions on the vibration characteristics are analyzed. Vibration levels were measured at various locations of the truck along the path through which vibration was transmitted. This study reveals that the velocity of the truck as well as the road surface conditions are main factors which affect the vibration levels of the truck. The power spectrum density of the measured vibration signal and the factors affecting the PSD are also analyzed in this paper.

  • It is generally known that the automotive road wheel involves the non-proportional multiaxial loading condition, therefore the measuring dynamic stress and strain in driving state is very important to predict an endurance characteristic of the automotive road wheel. In this study, the ultimate driving test using F1 circuit with respect to 2 kinds of velocity conditions have been carried out in order to measure dynamic stress, strain of the wheel and acceleration of a vehicle. Based on the measured results, the characteristics of dynamic stress generation have been analyzed, and factors which have effect on the dynamic stress generation have been studied.

  • This study was to review the basic characteristics in order to evaluate field application of the emergency road repair materials for development of CAC(Calcium Aluminate Composite) usage. The experiment was conducted with two phases of field and laboratory conditions and the laboratory experiment consisted indoor and outdoor tests for compressive and flexural strength. In the result of an experiment, for the compressive strength test, the specimens that cured in the laboratory conditions were not satisfied the requirement of standards, while the specimens that cured in the field conditions were well satisfied with those. For flexural strength test, the result value was satisfied with the requirement on the standards only in outdoor curing condition of laboratory experiment. Based on these results, it is expected that the CAC can be used as an emergency road repair material for field conditions.

  • An important factor of vibration test using MAST(multi axial simulation table) system is the reliance of input excitation source. Generally the generation of input excitation source is obtained by the measured data on special road in proving ground. The measured data on special road have more exciting energy than the data of real fields, therefore the time and expense for test can be reduced. But the magnitude of input excitation source must be defined by comparison with the excited energy on real field. The object of this paper makes the data base of domestic roads for the definition of input excitation source which is obtained by the measured data on special road in proving ground. These real field data on domestic roads are analyzed by the power spectral density and interrelationship index.

  • The construction waste concrete produce from the demolished concrete structures. These waste concrete materials are useful and valuable for fill and subgrade and are considered to use as the subgrade material of the road. To use the subgrade of the road with the waste concrete, the several experiments involved with compaction test and laboratory C. B. R. etc. are performed. These experiments are compared with criteria of the road construction manual. It is shown that the quality of the construction waste concrete satisfies that of the subgrade mentioned in the road construction manual.
