수력발전기 고정자 권선의 운전중 부분방전 특성 (Properties of On-Line Partial Discharge in Hydrogenerator Stator Windings)

  • During normal machine operation, partial discharge(PD) tests were performed with partial discharge analyzer(PDA) in two hydrogenerators. Six cable couplers were installed in circuit ring bus and endwinding of three phases. PDA showed that the normalized quantity number(NQN) and the partial discharge magnitude$(Q_m)$ were very low in hydrogenerator #1 and #2, respectively. The trend analyses of NQN and $Q_m$ value are available for monitoring of the insulation condition in hydrogenerator stator windings. The insulation condition of stator winding can be assessed. Discharge at conductor surface was discovered in B phase(C2 coupler) of hydrogenerator #1. Internal discharges were generated in A and C phases(C2 coupler) of hydrogenerator #1 and in A, Band C phases(C1 and C2 couplers) of hydrogenerator #2. Slot discharges occurred in A, Band C phases(C1 coupler) of hydrogenerator #1. The stator windings of two hydrogenerators were in good condition.

  • Proposed slotless PM machine is constructed without stator winding slots. Its stator magnetic material is in the form of a ring and winding have a toroidal configuration and its rotor consists of a 4-pole Halbach array or radially magnetized PM rotor. Thus, airgap flux density distribution and induced emf waveform are essentially sinusoidal. Open circuit magnetic fields and developed torque of each type are presented from the analytical method and finite element method.

  • High speed brushless permanent magnet (PM) machines are a key technology for electric drives and motion control systems for many application, since they are conductive to high efficiency, high power density small size and low weight. Proposed slotless PM machine is constructed without stator winding slots.   • The Angle Ring and Cap which is called pressboard are settled at primary and secondary coil winding of 154 kV transformer that can reduce effectively distance of insulation. As it has not manufactured pressboard of Angle Ring and Cap for high voltage grade, insulation components industry especially high voltage transformer has not participate in a competition with worldwide yet. That's why is difficult to make an specialized shape of insulation components of high voltage grade. At first, it is very important to make an utility of deformation manufacturing for high voltage transformer insulation components by itself. Therefore it has finally completed to make an deformation manufacturing utility using an special analysis tools. In this paper, developed insulation components was investigates in tensile strength is introduced.

  • Electro-mechanical battery (EMB) consists of a high-speed fly wheel with an integral motor/ generator suspended on magnetic bearings and in an evacuated housing. Permanent magnet (PM) machines as the EMB motor/ generator are a popular choice, since there are no excitation losses which means substantial increase in the efficiency. In this paper we present the comparison of conventional slotted and slotless ring-wound types, aimed at EMB and other high-speed drives. We firstly discuss the topology of each machine for this particular application. these machines are primarily designed as 1kW two-pole PM generator with the rated speed of 40000 rpm. the motoring torque of 0.51 Nm has to be enough to accelerate the flywheel to the rated speed. We then present the comparison of the open-circuit field, the armature reaction field and winding inductance. next we analyze the induced voltage and the developed torque per unit stack length and unit weight of different machines. Finally, we estimate and compare the losses and the efficiency at motoring and generating modes.

  • Synchronous generator needs slip-ring and brush for supplying current to rotor with external source. but slip-ring and brush have some problems to supply DC power to field winding with friction and high power loss due to brush voltage drop at high field current. Thus synchronous generator have been designed to brushless machine. Brushless synchronous machines of using permanent halbach array can composed without back core and coreloss. In this paper, analyse on the characteristics of external rotor type permenant magnet brushless with halbach array.

  • This thesis is aimed to obtain efficiently economically any desired phases and single phase transformer without unbalance by using only a new transformer, applying the theory of rotating magnetic field. The brief construction and principle is as floow: two pieces of similar ring cores, triangular cores or polygonal cores are located on the upper and lower sides with equidistance. And the some number of similar leg cores, shaped a square-pillar or a sylinder, are arranged at equidistant of the core section. Ring windings or polyphase windings of AC machines are adopted as a winding method on the upper and lower cores. Three phase AC is applied to the primary windings on these cores so that the rotating magnetic field is induced on the cores and this magnetic fluxes pass through each of the secondary windings on the leg-cores with some difference in time.

  • Retaining rings are used to support the field winding end turns from the centrifugal force by the high speed of the field and these are the overstressed parts among the generator parts. There have been several retaining failures in Europe and America, all attributable to stress corrosion cracking in 18Mn-5Cr steel. Since then, each manufacture companies have developed a good 18Mn-5Cr steel in temperature, strength characteristic and it is used in many field now. From many findings and test results, we could conformed that the failure might be grown in the overstressed condition unrelated to the moisture particle.

  • The retaining rings used to restrain the end turns of the rotor winding against centrifugal force require very careful attention during design and manufacture because they have traditionally been the highest-stressed components of the generator. In other words, the rings maintain their shrink fits during their entire service life. In this study, using finite element method, the part of shrink fits in generator was analyzed to obtain residual stresses in retaining ring and contact Pressures between contact surfaces at zero, rated, and 120 rated speeds, respectively.

  • 섬유 방향 물성은 복합재 연소관의 내압 변형 및 파열 압력에 직접적인 영향을 미치므로, 우수한 성능의 복합재 연소관 개발을 위해서는 정확한 섬유 방향 물성 측정이 우선되어야 한다. 그러나 복합재 연소관의 섬유 방향 물성은 제작 공정 변수(와인딩 장비, 작업자, 작업환경 등)와 크기 효과에 의해 비교적 큰 영향을 받으므로 기존의 시편 시험 방법으로는 정확한 섬유 방향 물성 측정이 어렵다. 제품으로부터 다량의 링 시편을 채취, 시험할 수 있는 Hoop ring 시험 방법이 제시되었고, 실물 연소관의 수압 파괴 시험으로부터 구한 섬유 방향 물성과 근접된 좋은 일치를 나타내었다.
