Objectives The present study was designed to analyze the posture pattern of healthy right-handed male and to investigate the effect of Chuna treatment. Methods Twenty healthy right-handed male were selected in this study. Body posture was measured by Body $Style^{(R)}$. After that, subjects received Chuna treatment on lumbar and pelvis area. Finally, the 2nd measurement was carried out. Results In shoulder height, left shoulder was higher than right one. In pelvic height, right iliac crest was higher than left, followed by longer right leg than left. In lower limb angle suggesting valgus or varus knee. In height of scapula inferior angle, right seemed higher than left. After the Chuna treatment, shoulder height, pelvic height, and leg length difference showed significant improvement. Other variables showed improvement but it was not significant. Conclusions These results suggest that right-handed male have some characteristic posture pattern because of their daily life habits, and Chuna treatment can be effective in correcting bad posture.

Starting with the meaning of the word quality, diverse concepts connoted by the term are examined. Instead of a bathtub curve, the desirable shape of a failure rate covering the entire life of a good product, which might be called hockey-stick line, is introduced. From the hockey-stick line and the definition of reliability, two measurements are extracted. The terms r-reliability (failure rate) and durability (product life) are explained. The conceptual analysis of failure mechanics explains that reliability technology pertains to design area. The desirable shape of hazard rate curve of electronic items, hockey-stick line, clarifies that Mean-Time-to-failure (MTTF) as the inverse of failure rate can be regarded a nominal life. And Bx life, different from MTTF, is explained. Reliability relationships between components and set products are explained. Reshaped definitions of r-reliability and durability are recommended. The procedure to improve reliability and the reasons for failing to identify failure mode are clarified in order to search right solutions. And generalized Life-Stress failure model is recommended for the calculation of acceleration factor.

Ice-going ships such as icebreakers, icebreaking tankers, and icebreaking LNG carriers are subjected to wave loads in open water and ice loads in ice-covered water. In terms of the ship's structural design, the local ice load is important. The fatigue failure due to repeated ice loads is also important. ISO 19906 specifies the assessment of the fatigue limit for a polar offshore structures. In addition, Lloyd's Register refers to fatigue damage based on ShipRight FDA ICE. In ShipRight FDA ICE, the fatigue damage indices due to wave and ice loads are simply presented as 0.5 for each load. It also states that the sum of the two fatigue damage indices should not exceed one. This study calculated and analyzed the fatigue damage index and fatigue life considering ARAON's voyage schedules and the assumed Antarctic voyage based on data measured during the Arctic voyage of ARAON in 2010.

The accelerated failure time model or accelerated life model relates the logarithm of the failure time linearly to the covariates. The parameters in the model provides a direct interpretation. In this paper, we review some newly developed practically useful estimation and inference methods for the model in the analysis of right censored data.

Purpose : This study was to investigate that tongue positions have effect on the cervical range of motion (ROM). Methods : 18 subjects, 20 to 25 years of age, were participated in this study. The tongue positions were neutral position, anterior protrusion, posterior protrusion, superior protrusion, inferior protrusion, left side protrusion and right side protrusion. The neck movements were right side flexion, left side flexion, right rotation and left rotation. The cervical range of motion measured by cervical range of motion instrument (CROM, C9266-49, USA). The changes were analyzed using the paired t-test. SPSSWIN (ver. 20.0) was used for data analysis and the significance level was chosen as ${\alpha}$=0.05. Results : In the lateral flexion, the angle of left lateral flexion increased in anterior protrusion(p<0.05) and right side protrusion(p<0.05) significantly. In the rotation, the angle of right rotation increased in anterior protrusion(p<0.05), posterior protrusion (p<0.05), superior protrusion(p<0.05), inferior protrusion(p<0.05), and left side protrusion (p<0.05) significantly. Conclusions : In conclusion, we found that the tongue positions affected some cervical movements.

Objectives The aim of this study was to assess variations in caudate volume according to dopamin receptor D2/ankyin repeat and kinase domain containing 1 (DRD2/ANKK1) Taq 1a polymorphisms in young healthy adults and to evaluate the relationship between caudate volumes and psychiatric symptoms as measured by the Brief Psychiatric Rating Scale. Methods Genetic information regarding DRD2/ANKK1 Taq 1a and T1-weighted brain magnetic resonance images were acquired from 30 young healthy adults. Automatic segmentation of caudate was performed using the FreeSurfer program. Results Individuals with A2 homozygotes of DRD2/ANKK1 Taq 1a polymorphisms (n = 10) had greater right caudate volumes compared to those with A1 allele (s)(18.4% greater ; p = 0.019). Right caudate volumes were negatively associated with total scores of the Brief Psychiatric Rating Scale (${\beta}$=-0.50 ; p = 0.016). Conclusions Our findings suggest the possibility that DRD2/ANKK1 Taq 1a polymorphisms may underlie the psychiatric symptoms by influencing the structure of the right caudate.

Electro-hydraulic transmission (HST) and an electronic control system was designed, and performance of the components were investigated through indoor tests. When input values for HST swash plate control were given at 3 levels (5, 10, 13 degrees) in forward and reverse directions, the errors were less than 0.6 degrees. Response time was in ranges of 0.14 ~ 0.16 s and 0.16 ~ 0.2 s for forward and reverse direction controls while driving, and the values were 0.23 ~ 0.25 s and 0.18 ~ 0.23 s at static condition, respectively. Similar experiments for left and right steering resulted errors less than 0.5 degrees. Resonse time was in ranges of 0.16 ~ 0.22 s and 0.11 ~ 0.23 s for left and right turns while driving, and the values were 0.07 ~ 0.21 s and 0.09 ~ 0.14 s at static condition, respectively. From frequency response experiments, control system appeared to follow sine waves appropriately at frequencies less than 0.8 Hz with gain of 0.11 dB and 0.09 dB for forward and reverse direction controls, respectively, and the gain decreased above the frequency. Phase difference showed a gradual increase and were less than 45 degree up to 0.8 Hz. Similar experiments for left and right streering showed that the control system appeared to follow sine waves appropriately at frequencies less than 0.8 Hz with gain of 0.28 dB and 0.26 dB for left and right steering controls, respectively, and the gain decreased above the frequency. Phase difference showed a gradual increase and were less than 45 degree up to 0.8 Hz, which was the same as for the forward and reverse controls.

The melanotic neuroectodermal tumor of infancy is a rare neoplasm arising in the first year of life. A 33-day-old female infant had an enlarged alveolar ridge on the right anterior maxilla. Intraoral examination revealed a nonulcerative swelling at the site. An intraoral radiograph showed an ill-defined radiolucency on the right anterior maxilla and displacement of primary incisors from their alveolar sockets. CT scans revealed an expansion of the surrounding bone and partial destruction of the anterior wall of the premaxilla. Histopathologic examination showed the cytoplasm of neuroblastic cells and eosinophilic, epithelioid cells frequently contained a dark brown granular pigment that stained positively to vimentin and HMB45, focally positive to NSE and cytokeratin. Four weeks after the operation, CT scans showed a rapidly growing soft tissue mass occupying right maxillary sinus encroaching to the orbit and nasal cavity. The final diagnosis was made as a malignant melanotic neuroectodermal tumor of infancy.

The purpose of this study was to clarify tile tendency of differences in housing values and life style of high school students in Chonbuk province. Data were collected through questionnaires from 1015 high school students living in Chonbuk province, and were analyzed by SPSS program using percentage, mean and standard deviation. Data were verified by t-test, One-way Anova, Scheffe's multiple range test, Pearson's correlation coefficient as well. The findings of this study were as follows; There were more significant differences in housing values and life style by demographic variables than housing characteristic variables. And correlation between housing values and life style differed significantly Most of students showed higher value in location of housing, while as life style showed higher value in type of life style along with PC. On the basis of this result,. it can be suggested that it is necessary to have the right understanding about housing values and life style of high school students for correct guidance of housing education.
