Purpose: The objective of the study is to analyze the review contents of reviewers for the submitted papers in the Journal of Korean Academy of Nursing in 2003. Method: The review contents of the 165 papers were selected 217 papers that were submitted in 2003. Among those 165 papers, the 21 papers belonged to the 'Do not publish' list and 17 papers, 'Revise manuscript and resubmit', list and the 94 papers, 'Publish if revisions are made' list. There are more than two level differences among the four levels of decision in acceptance of publication in 33 papers. Results: The analysis of the review contents for the papers were suggested according to review categories: introduction, method, results, discussion and conclusion. In addition, if papers had more than two levels of review they were rated poor accord or inconsistent. Conclusion: For the quality of the academic journal and development of the nursing science, it is important to disseminate and publish the research paper. Therefore, review of the submitted paper is also important. Implications for the profitable review were suggested in the study.

This study aims to review the research trends concerning environmental psychology. The scope of review is limited to the papers that dealt with theoretical and case-directed investigation research about the relationship between socio-physical environments and human beings. The relationship has been investigated by diverse human reactions such as cognitive, emotional, analytical, behavioral, and comprehensive. 219 papers were reviewed in two steps. In the first step, the ratio of the papers in the field of environmental psychology to the total papers published in the Journal from 1973 to 2004 was analyzed. Second, all the 219 papers were classified by such three criteria as the type of the paper(theoretical, review, case investigation), the methodology taken, and the main theme of the paper. The main findings from the review are summarized as follows; 1. Out of the 219 papers, the number of the theoretical papers was 4 (1.8%), whereas the number of the case investigation papers was 185 (84.5%). 2. Out of the 30 review papers, the main methodology used was simple introduction (15 papers, 50%) and the main theme was research methodology (36%), whereas analytic comparison was used only in 10 papers (33%) and theory review was only found in 6 papers (20%). 3. Out of the 185 case investigation papers, experimental method was found in 34 papers (18%), whereas 99 papers used correlational method (54%). Based on the findings, it was suggested that both theoretical and case-directed research should be performed in order to enhance the state of art in environmental psychology. Theoretical research as a framework to understand the empirical findings are as important as the case-investigation research peformed by scientific experimental method.

This study was conducted to examine the current status of traditional korean medicine studies on gastroesophageal reflux disease in Korea, identify deficiencies, and suggest the direction of future medicine research methods to lay the foundation for traditional korean medicine treatment. All domestic papers on the korean traditional treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease were selected among the literature published until August 2022 in six domestic databases. A total of 52 selected research data were classified into experimental research papers, clinical research papers, and review papers. In experimental papers, to evaluate the effectiveness of treatment, improvement of esophageal mucosal lesions, anti-inflammatory mechanisms, antioxidant mechanisms, esophageal mucosal protection mechanisms, gastric peristalsis control, and gastric acid secretion inhibition mechanisms were used as evaluation measures. In the clinical research paper, the basis for diagnosis of cases was clinical symptoms through medical history listening and diagnosis through visits to hospitals in the past. The average treatment period was 40.7 days, and the duration of treatment was not significantly affected by the duration of the disease. The most widely used Korean medicine treatment intervention was herbal medicine. There were 3 literature review studies, 3 systematic literature review and meta-analysis studies, 1 comparative review study for clinical trial guideline development, all using Chinese papers. This study included all domestic papers on gastroesophageal reflux disease to identify the research trend of the Korean oriental medicine community, and based on this, it is meaningful to confirm areas that need to be supplemented in future research plans.

The field of international management has consistently been recognized as one of the key research pillars in the grand scope of trade studies. In this paper, we conducted critical review on literatures of international management, which were published in Korea Trade Review from 1975 to 2019. Especially, this paper analyzed 'when did research results in the field of international management appear in Korea Trade Review for the first time?', 'how many papers in the field of international management have been published in Korea Trade Review so far?', 'what topics have the papers in the field of international management published in Korea Trade Review mainly described?', and 'what research methods have the papers in the field of international management published in Korea Trade Review adopted?' In particular, this paper compared the similarities and differences between the research issues in leading global journals and those of international management research papers published in Korea Trade Review. In addition, some implications for future research would be suggested regarding what characteristics of international management studies will be meaningful to be published in the Korea Trade Review.

Six Sigma methodology has been evolved since it was first introduced in late 1980's and the number of company which adopts Six Sigma is getting increased. Therefore, it is timely that ire review research papers on Six Sigma extensively. We review 85 papers published in Korea by April 2006 and classify them based on research contents and methodology. We suggest future research issues and fields which can adopt Six Sigma methodology.

Objectives: Automated audiometry provides an opportunity to do audiometry when there is no direct access to a clinical audiologist. This approach will help to use hearing services and resources efficiently. The purpose of this study was to review studies related to automated audiometry by focusing on the implementation of an audiometer, the use of transducers and evaluation methods. Methods: This review study was conducted in 2017. The papers related to the design and implementation of automated audiometry were searched in the following databases: Science Direct, Web of Science, PubMed, and Scopus. The time frame for the papers was between January 1, 2010 and August 31, 2017. Initially, 143 papers were found, and after screening, the number of papers was reduced to 16. Results: The findings showed that the implementation methods were categorized into the use of software (7 papers), hardware (3 papers) and smartphones/tablets (6 papers). The used transducers were a variety of earphones and bone vibrators. Different evaluation methods were used to evaluate the accuracy and the reliability of the diagnoses. However, in most studies, no significant difference was found between automated and traditional audiometry. Conclusions: It seems that automated audiometry produces the same results compared with traditional audiometry. However, the main advantages of this method; namely, saving costs and increased accessibility to hearing services, can lead to a faster diagnosis of hearing impairment, especially in poor areas.

This study is a meta-analysis of the articles published over the last 18 years from the first edition of the "International Commerce and Information Review" to December 2016. 1047 papers were published in "International Commerce and Information Review" until 2016. Many articles appeared in the order of electronic trade field, product and service innovation field, regional trade information field, trade law system field, and trade negotiation field. There are more than 15 major fields of authors who have published more than 20 papers."International Commerce and Information Review" is a multi-disciplinary journal by scholars in various major fields. Most of the authors belong to universities and the proportion of papers that receive research grants is 19.7%. 46 authors have published more than 5 papers in "International Commerce and Information Review", and their H-index is 5.6. Influence Index (IF) of the "International Commerce and Information Review" in 2016 is 1.02. The main keywords of the papers published in "International Commerce and Information Review" are e-commerce, Internet, service trade, China, e-trade, Korean Wave, FTA, SME and foreign direct investment.

Objectives The aim of this review is to analyse the study tendency in papers related with delphi method which are published in Korea from 2006 to 2015. Methods We searched the electronic database (NDSL, RISS, Korean traditional knowledge portal, OASIS) and checked relevant Korean journals from 2006 to 2015. 23 research papers were found and they were analyzed according to the year of publishment, the titles of journals which have the papers, the time of repeated survey and purpose of technique application. Results 1. As we analyzed by years, 2.3 papers were published per year on average. 2. As we analyzed by jounals in which papers were published, 39% of total papers were published in The Journal of the Society of Korean Medicine Diagnostics, 30% were in Korean Journal of Oriental Physiology & Pathology, taking up 69% of total papers. 3. As we analyzed by the number of survey taken in each research, 11 papers surveyed 2 times, 7 papers surveyed 3 times, 1 paper suerveyed one time. 4. As we analyzed by the purpose of technique application, 91% of papers were aimed at the development of questions, 9% of papers were aimed at policy recommendation. Conclusions These results suggest that although many researches were trying to quantify the symptom of patient, to demonstrate on exact data and to accomplish the scientification of diagnosis, the number of paper is insufficient. Therefore, it seems that more researches must be taken afterward.

Agile software development methodology has been implemented by software industries over a decade ago and well accepted in the practitioner community. However, there is limited understanding on how agile practitioners aware towards implementation of agile practices in software development. Lack of awareness will lead to misunderstandings among agile practitioners and misuse the agile practices. In order to understand the awareness of agile practices, this paper aims to investigate the factors that affect awareness of agile practitioners in implementing agile practices. A systematic literature review (SLR)was conducted in order to classify and define the factors of awareness in agile software development methodology. The review was based on papers between 2002 and December 2014 from seven electronic databases. The relevant papers were included 20 journal articles, 24 conference papers,16 book chapters, 9 workshop papers. Consequently, 69 papers were identified that closely related with awareness in agile software development methodology. From the thematic analysis, 13 factors were classified from 42 elements. Based on the review result, understanding the influential factors on the awareness of agile practices will provide benefit to researchers and agile practitioners.

Objectives : The aim of this review was to analyse the study tendency in papers related with Ssanghwa-tang which are published in Korea from 2000 to 2019. Methods : We searched the four electronic database (NSDL, RISS, Korean traditional knowledge portal, OASIS) and checked relevant Korean journals from 2000 to 2019. We classified the papers by publish date, speciality, study method, and field of study, and analysed the study tendency. Result : 1. papers were published annually on average. 2. After classifying papers by the speciality of journal, continuous study was followed not only in korean medicine, but also in many specialities like Dietetics, Pharmacology and Tourism management. 3. In study methods, in vivo was 46%, quantitative inspection was 21%, and in vitro was 19%. 4. After classifying papers by field of study, efficacy was 49%, qualitative analysis was 27%, toxicity was 14%, and safety was 5%. 5. In efficacy, it was effective in muscloskeletal disease, cardiovascular disease, prevention of neurologic disease, antioxidation, immunization disease and so on. Conclusions : These results suggest that Ssanghwa-tang can be used as cure medicine, not just as herbal tonic, but there are not sufficient evidence based papers, so there should be further studies in order to establish Ssanghwa-tang as a cure medicine.
