지하철 승강장의 음원-수음점 거리에 따른 실내음향 평가지수 특성 (Characteristic of room acoustical parameters with source-receiver distance on platform in subway stations)

  • 본 연구에서는 지하철 승강장에 적합한 실내음향 설계기준 제시에 앞서, 현재의 지하철 승강장의 위치별 실내음향 특성을 파악하기 위해 2개의 지하철 역사 승강장에서 현장 측정을 실시하였다. 승강장의 길이방향에 따른 분석 결과, 음원에서 수음점이 멀어질수록 음압레벨은 감소(최대 차이: 약 14 dB), 잔향시간은 증가하는 경향(최대차이: 0.8 s ~ 1.5 s)이었고, C50과 D50은 감소하는 경향(최대 차이: 5.9 dB ~ 9.1 dB와 31.8 % ~ 37.6 %)인 것으로 나타났다. 공간감의 지표인 Interaural Cross-correlation Coefficient(IACC)는 음원과의 거리에 따른 명확한 경향성은 보이지 않았지만, 전체적으로 0.3이하의 낮은 값을 보였다. 이러한 결과를 살펴보았을 때 지하철 승강장은 일반적으로 강한 반사재로 마감 되었음에도 수음위치에 따라 직접음과 반사음의 다양한 조합이 형성되어 비균일한 음장특성을 갖는 것으로 판단된다. 이는 길이 대비 높이가 낮고 긴 평면형태를 갖는 지하철 승강장에서는 음원과 수음점의 거리에 따라 근접음장과 원음장의 실내음향특성이 뚜렷이 발현되고 있음을 나타난다. 따라서, 승강장의 모든 위치에서 명료한 음정보를 갖춘 실내음향설계를 위해서 승강장에서의 스피커와 수음점 위치별 특성에 기인한 세부 건축 및 전기음향설계가 필요하다.

  • International Convention Center Jeju(ICCJ) was planed and built for accommodating a variety of conventional and exhibitional activities. For a better flexibility of operation, almost all rooms in ICCJ are designed to be subdivided Into a couple of small rooms with installation of movable partition walls. Architectural and acoustical design should be deliberatively and cooperatively undertaken to cope with such a complex condition. Conference hall, the largest room in ICCJ, has a capacity of 5000 seats who:1 used as a whole. It could be divided into 3 halls, one with 2000 pre-installed seats on slanted floor, up/down removable stage and its settings above, and the other 2 flat rooms with no seats installed. A devided hall with pre-installed seats and stage is designed for a multi-use auditorium. Almost all surfaces except ceilings adjacent to the stage are sound absorptively treated, in regard to extensive use of sound reinforcement systems. Its reverberation time 1.65 sec without audience, which is roughly correspond to 1.50 sec with fully occupied audience. When there is a need for a larger room, all the partition wail Is removed and the hall could be used as a whole. Exhibition hall is located in the first floor of ICCJ. Absorption and softness are needed for the hat 1 because exhibition behavior has something noisy features. Perforated MDF panels with porous materials and air space in the back groundare adopted for the walls. There are one large, two medium, and several small convention rooms in ICJJ. The room are also acoustically designed for maximum flexibility with no defects soundwisely.

  • Among those various facilities attached to the school building, the Auditorium is being utilized for not only the Exercise Activity but also for many purposes such as Culture, Public Performance, Education, Assembly and so on. In order to utilize in maximum such function of the multipurpose auditorium, an adequate acoustic design with regard to the Clarity of Voice and Music in accordance with its use-purpose should be accompanied. However, as the most part of multipurpose auditoriums is designed with high ceiling-height by its peculiar character, and due to use of the material of strong reflexibility, it is appearing the defect that excessively exposes the reverberation of sound. In order to make out an optimal acoustic condition within the broad space such as an auditorium, the acoustic characteristics must be considered from the planning stage, however in the most case, those acoustic problems are being settled through the repair works after construction. On such viewpoint, this Study intends to analyze the room acoustic characteristics from the planning stage using a computer simulation based on the blueprint of multipurpose auditorium in S High School located in Gwangju. It is considered that the material analyzed in such way could be practically applied as a fundamental material enables to improve the acoustic capability when a similar broad space is planned hereafter.

확장 라디오시티법에 의한 실내음향 예측에 있어 고차 형태 계수의 영향 (Effect of Higher Order Form Factors on the Prediction of Room Acoustics by Extended Radiosity Method)

  • 컴퓨터에 의한 실내음향 예측에 있어 확산반사의 고려는 매우 중요한 요소의 하나로 간주된다. 지난 수년동안 음선추적법과 빔추적법에서 확산반사를 고려하기 위한 방안들이 활발하게 연구되었으나 경면반사를 근본으로 하는 영상법에서는 아직 충분한 연구가 이루어지지 않고 있다. 부분적으로 확산성을 갖는 반사면에서의 음향에너지 반사는 확산반사와 경면반사의 형태로 나누어 볼 수 있으며 반사를 거듭함에 따라 확산-확산, 확산-경면, 경면-확산, 경면-경면의 형태로 반사에너지의 전환이 이루어진다. 본 연구에서는 실내의 벽면을 부분적으로 확산반사의 특성을 갖는 반사면으로 모델링하여 경면반사음은 기존의 영상법으로 계산하고 확산반사음은 라디오시티법을 적용하여 산출하는 확장라디오시티법을 도입하였다. 본 논문에서는 확장라디오시티법의 개념과 이에 따른 고차형태계수의 계산법을 제시하고 고차형태계수가 실내음향 시뮬레이션의 결과에 미치는 영향 등을 분석해 보았다.

  • This thesis describes the method for well voice announcement using the TTS(Text-To-Speech) technology in the shop music broadcasting service. Offering a high quality TTS sound service for each shop requires a great expense. According to a report on the architectural acoustics the room acoustic indexes such as reverberation time and early decay time are closely connected with a subjective awareness about acoustics. By using the result the customers will be able to recognize better the voice announcement by applying sound effect to speech files made by TTS. The result of an aural comprehension examination has shown better about almost all of the parameters by applying reverb effect to TTS sound.

중량벽체의 차음특성에 관한 실험적 연구 (An Experimental Study on the Sound Insulation Characteristics of Heavyweight Walls)

  • This study is carried out to investigate the characteristics of sound insulation performances for masonry walls. PC walls and ALC walls. For these purposes. 17 types of masonry walls were selected and tested in accordance with KS F 2808 at reverberation room The sound insulation performance of 8" cement block walls are graded with D-45 ∼ D-55 which are to be evaluated very favorable grade. 4" cement block walls are D-30 ∼ D-40. 1 B cement brick walls are D-40∼D-50 favorable grade. 0.5 B brick walls are D-30∼D-45. 150 mm PC wall is D-50. and ALC walls(150 mm, 200 mm) are D-30∼D-45.

  • Noise is one of the major environmental problems in human life. To reduce the noise emitted from the control valve it is necessary to develop the measurement method, measurement system, analysis method applicable to the field. In this study IEC and ISO standards were investigated and measurement method for the valve noise was proposed. Noise from the valve was measured in the reverberation room and sound power level was calculated. The sound power level increased as the flow rate and pressure difference increased. The noise characteristics are useful to predict valve noise for given conditions, to compare the performance of different valves and to develope low-noise valves.

  • Demands on a quiet environment is increasing because of noisiness and annoyance due to the extended use of noisy electronic device. Determination of sound power levels of noise sources using sound pressure in a reverberation room is usually a relevant method for devices with comparatively large volume or unevenly distributed source position. This study aims to observe the contents of ISO 3741 and analyze its changes in the revised standard ISO 3741-1999. And also aims to assess the revised ISO 1999 its effectiveness and limitations with an actual application to measure the sound power level of a refrigerator.

  • Noise barrier is used to reduce traffic noise. The effect of a noise barrier depends not only on the materials, but also on the physical properties such as density, height and degree of absorption, etc. Typical absorptive noise barrier is used sound absorbing material, such as glass wool and mineral wool. The goal of this study is to develope excellent absorptive noise barrier using a polyester. Laboratory measurements were peformed with various thicknesses, density and layer of absorber in a reverberation room.

  • The study on the new measurement method of room acoustics is now in process in the ISO TC43/SC2/WG24 New standard(WD 18233) is dealing with the MLS, swept sinusoidal signal and impulse. This working group is composed of more than 20 specialists in 10 countries and the convener is professor J.H.Rindel in technical university of Denmark. The meeting of WG24 was held in the DIN, Berlin at 23rd. this september and the results was sent to the secretary of ISO TC43/SC2 for the circulation. Brief information of ISO/WD18233 and the result of this meeting is given here.
