기능대학의 4학기제 운영 방안 (A Management Plan for Four-semester of Polytechnic Colleges)

  • 지식기반 정보화 사회에서의 국가의 경쟁력은 물적 자원이 아닌 인적자원에 의해 좌우 될 것이므로 산업현장의 신기술 인력 계층이라고 할 수 있는 다기능 기술자의 양성은 매우 중요한 현안으로 대두되고 있다. 이에 기능대학은 다기능 기술자의 양성과정을 운영하는 중추적인 2년제 대학으로서 기능장과정과 직업훈련과정을 병행하는 기관으로서의 역할은 매우 중요해지고 있다. 현재 기능대학의 전기과는 지식기반학과 개편에 따라 기업이 대학 졸업생을 현장에 투입하기 위해 재교육에 많은 시간과 경비를 지출해야하는 현실을 인식하여 현장에서 필요로 하는 신기술을 교과 편성에 반영하여 이론과 실습을 겸비한 정예의 다기능 기술 인력을 양성하여 산업현장의 중간 기술자로써 국가경쟁력 향상에 동참할 수 있도록 기능대학의 현황을 분석하여 대학의 실정에 부합되는 4학기제를 운영하여 기업이 필요로 하는 기능인을 양성하도록 한다.

흉곽확장저항운동이 뇌졸중 환자의 흉곽가동범위와 최대흡기압에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Chest Expansion Resistance Exercise on Chest Expansion and Maximal Inspiratory Pressure in Patients with Stroke)

  • PURPOSE: This study compared the effects of chest expansion resistance exercise (CERE) and breathing retraining (BRT) on stroke patients' chest expansion and maximal inspiratory pressure(MIP), thereby intending to present an effective intervention method for enhancing their respiratory functions. METHODS: The subjects were 30 stroke patients and randomly and equally assigned to a CERE group (10), a BRT group (10), and a control group (10). The intervention was applied to each group five times per week, 30 minutes per each time, for six weeks. A tapeline was used to measure upper and lower chest expansion and MIP prior to and after the intervention and the results were compared. RESULTS: After the intervention, the upper and lower chest expansion was considerable in the CERE group (p<.01), significant in the BRT group (p<.05) but was not significant in the control group (p>.05). According to the post-hoc test result, the upper and lower chest of the CERE group and the BRT group significantly expanded compared to that of the control group (p<.05) and the upper and lower chest of the CERE group statistically significantly expanded relative to that of the BRT group (p<.05). According to the MIP evaluation result, the CERE group saw considerable improvement (p<.01) and the BRT group underwent significant changes (p<.05), but there were no significant changes in the control group (p>.05). The post-hoc test result was that the CERE group and the BRT group saw significant improvement compared to the control group (p<.05) and the CERE group experienced statistically significant enhancement relative to the BRT group (p<.05). CONCLUSION: As an intervention for respiratory function improvement, CERE is considered effective for strengthening respiratory muscles and promoting chest expansion through manual resistance by a therapist.

Prevalence of Malaria in Pregnant Women in Lagos, South-West Nigeria

  • Prevalence rates reported for malaria in pregnancy in Nigeria vary considerably. The accuracy of results of malaria diagnosis is dependent on training, experience, and motivation of the microscopist as well as the laboratory facility available. Results of training programmes on malaria microscopy have shown low levels of sensitivity and specificity of those involved in malaria diagnosis routinely and for research. This study was done to ascertain the true prevalence of malaria in pregnancy in Lagos, South-West Nigeria. A total of 1,084 pregnant women were recruited into this study. Blood smears stained with Giemsa were used for malaria diagnosis by light microscopy. Malaria infection during pregnancy presents mostly as asymptomatic infection. The prevalence of malaria in this population was 7.7% (95% confidence interval; 6.2-9.4%). Factors identified to increase the risk of malaria infection include young maternal age (<20 years), and gravidity (primigravida). In conclusion, this study exposes the over-diagnosis of malaria in pregnancy and the need for training and retraining of laboratory staffs as well as establishing the malaria diagnosis quality assurance programme to ensure the accuracy of malaria microscopy results at all levels.

Real-time Classification of Internet Application Traffic using a Hierarchical Multi-class SVM

  • In this paper, we propose a hierarchical application traffic classification system as an alternative means to overcome the limitations of the port number and payload based methodologies, which are traditionally considered traffic classification methods. The proposed system is a new classification model that hierarchically combines a binary classifier SVM and Support Vector Data Descriptions (SVDDs). The proposed system selects an optimal attribute subset from the bi-directional traffic flows generated by our traffic analysis system (KU-MON) that enables real-time collection and analysis of campus traffic. The system is composed of three layers: The first layer is a binary classifier SVM that performs rapid classification between P2P and non-P2P traffic. The second layer classifies P2P traffic into file-sharing, messenger and TV, based on three SVDDs. The third layer performs specialized classification of all individual application traffic types. Since the proposed system enables both coarse- and fine-grained classification, it can guarantee efficient resource management, such as a stable network environment, seamless bandwidth guarantee and appropriate QoS. Moreover, even when a new application emerges, it can be easily adapted for incremental updating and scaling. Only additional training for the new part of the application traffic is needed instead of retraining the entire system. The performance of the proposed system is validated via experiments which confirm that its recall and precision measures are satisfactory.

  • Capstone design, is a heartfelt cooperation curriculum because the ultimate goal is to train people who already have the ability to complete the tasks of the job without retraining them in the field immediately after being hired. However, there is a need for the design study in the fashion industry where a variety of operating models could be tried; more specifically case studies than engineering. This study was designed to apply to the types of voluntary projects and industrial challenges linked to the different types of virtuous circle window systems over twice in two years. Result capitalization applied to different types of derived forms associated with start-up technology transfer form. In addition, start-up will be done in conjunction with student-centered forms of the participation of Cooperation Coordinator. This was weak in the form of technology transfer interventions which were made as a result of the overall involvement of the industry. In order to elicit the active participation of the industry it is expected that this system will have an ideal company to reflux. Therefore, reflux that created assets to the students, and the reflux of product design created by students in companies professor final a virtuous cycle system operating models that can derive enhancements accept feedback to both students and companies redefining the performing models It presented. This operating model is considered to be able to provide you with a sense of accomplishment and high experiential value to both students and professors, and the industry. In this study, experiments in environmental A Study, silseupbi no support will be given to alternatives to solve them.

의학도서관 사서의 SR 지원에 관한 연구 (Medical Librarians' Contribution to SR Searching)

  • 이 연구는 최근 10년간 국내외 의학 Systematic Review(SR) 연구 현황을 살피고, 국내 사서가 공저자로 참여한 SR 연구논문을 면밀하게 분석하였다. SR 참여 사서와의 인터뷰를 통해 참여 사서의 활동, 역할, 애로사항을 파악하였고, SR 연구 참여 활성화 방안도 모색하였다. 연구결과 국내외 SR 연구건수는 최근 증가세이고, SR 연구에 참여한 사서를 공저자로 등재하거나 사사표기함으로써 사서의 기여를 공식적으로 인정한 사례도 더불어 증가한 것으로 나타났다. 국내 의학도서관의 SR 참여 사서는 탐색 전문가, 자료 수집가, 참고문헌 작성자, 뿐만 아니라 탐색전략 설계, 완전한 SR 탐색 기록, 일대일 DB탐색 교육 등 다양한 활동을 하고 있었다. 인터뷰 참여 사서는 SR 참여 활성화 정책으로 사서 인력 충원, 재교육, 문헌정보학 교과목 개편 등을 제시하였다. 날이 갈수록 이용자의 정보요구 수준은 높아지고, 사서에 대한 기대 또한 커지고 있음을 감안할 때, 의학도서관 SR 참여 사서의 활동과 기여는 사서의 서비스를 심화하고 확장하려는 타도서관에게도 좋은 가이드라인이 될 것으로 판단된다.

전자상거래 분쟁해결을 위한 우리나라 온라인 조정제도의 발전방향 (The Directions for the Development of Korean Online Mediation System for e-Commerce Dispute Resolution)

  • The present study reviewed the meanings of mediation and the roles of mediators, and examined the necessities of online mediation system, prerequisites for the settlement of the system, foreign cases of promoting online mediation and the current state of online mediation in Korea. It also identified problems in the mediation system in Korea and, based on the analysis of problems, discussed directions for the development of Korean mediation system in broad perspective. Directions for the development of Korean online mediation system suggested in this study can be summarized as follows. Firstly, the government must make an unsparing investment in order to activate online mediation system in Korea. Secondly, from the aspect of online mediation procedure, it is necessary to introduce online mediation system in combination with online seal system or certification marks. Thirdly, the judicial circle must take an amicable attitude toward ADR system and, furthermore, it is necessary for the court to be active in introducing various ADR systems. Fourthly, it is necessary to establish an integrated mediation system for the efficiency of mediation and cost saving. Fifthly, mediators must be provided with systematic and exhaustive periodical retraining programs. Lastly, it is necessary to help people to recognize that mediation system is a better service than other forms of dispute resolution procedure and particularly to enhance users' confidence in online mediation through advertising its advantages and safety. Moreover, in order to make e-commerce-related online dispute resolution available to everybody, it is necessary to overcome language barriers by establishing perfect service systems including automatic translation system in the governmental dimension.

직업군인을 위한 컴퓨터응용학과 교과과정 설계 (A Curriculum Design of Computer Application Department for Non-Commissioned Officers)

  • 본 논문에서는 직업군인을 위한 군계약학과 컴퓨터응용학과 개설에 따른 교과과정을 제안한다. 군계약학과는 직업군인인 부사관을 대상으로 하는 재교육형 계약학과 학사학위과정으로 일반적인 교육과정과 다를 수밖에 없다. 제안한 컴퓨터응용학과 교과과정은 교육수요자인 부사관에 초점을 맞춘 교육과정이다. 따라서 군 과학화 및 군 정보화와 관련된 컴퓨터관련 교과목은 물론, 국내 4년제 정규대학 최초로 군상담사2급 자격취득에 필요한 교과목을 교과과정에 반영하였다. 또한 병사관리에 필수적인 군 리더십 관련교과목을 포함하여 합리적인 컴퓨터응용학과 교과과정을 제안하고, 영역별 학과 특성화를 위한 교과과정 체계도를 개발하였다.

이명 치료를 위한 저절형 광역 소음발생개의 설계 및 구현 (Design and Implementation of a Controllable White Noise Generator for Tinnitus Therapy)

  • The tinnitus which is the one of the auditory disease is a phenomenon that the patients feel the sound in the ear or the head when there is no sound sources. There have been many therapies for this tinnitus so far, but it is known that the TRT (Tinnitus Retraining Therapy) is the most effective therapy. So we designed and developed the controllable white noise generator for TRT. It must be designed as small as possible for user's convenience, such as the ITE (In The Ear) type hearing aids. It used the thermal noise as the white noise source. And filter and tone control circuits are used at the end of the noise generation part to control the white noise characteristics. This link of the controllable circuits is used to change the white noise's characteristic for the various tinnitus patients' characteristic. we can confirm that the designed and implemented controllable white noise generator which is a ITE type operates properly by the experiments of filter and tone control circuit.

  • 시추는 석유자원 탐사와 개발에서 가장 중요하며 많은 비용이 소요되는 필수 작업이다. 그래서 시추의 효율 향상을 위한 굴진율 연구가 지속적으로 진행되어왔다. 근래에는 전통적인 수학적 모델의 단점을 극복하기 위하여 새로운 방식의 자료기반 모델이 다양한 연구자들에 의해 개발되고 있다. 자료기반 모델은 알고리즘과 매개변수의 선택이 매우 중요하다. 또한 개발된 모델의 성능향상을 위하여 실시간으로 모델을 재훈련하여 연속적인 시추작업을 실현해야한다. 이 논문에서는 최신 연구들을 조사하여 시추 최적화에서 사용된 알고리즘, 시추 매개변수, 모델 재훈련 간격에 대한 정보를 제공하고자 한다.
