An Analysis of Daylighting in Each Space of Apartment Houses (공동주택의 공간별 채광실태에 관한 연구)

  • One of the most important factors in determining the quality of living environment is daylighting. Especially its influence in the psychological and biological life of human beings cannot be underestimated. Therefore, lots of researches have been given to develop a more efficient daylighting system. The sunlighting system, one of many developed systems, has been developed and applied in various ways. However, the high cost of sunlighting system has been the most difficult stumbling-block in making it commercial. However, as domestic apartment houses tend to be more luxury, life environment becomes a very important factor more than cost in building apartment house. Therefore, it would be possible to adopt sunlighting system in the non-window areas such as a restroom in an apartment house. This research is a preliminary work in order to measure a possibility of applying sunlighting system in an apartment house. In order to do so, I measure Sunlight Illuminance Ratio in various areas of apartment house. As a result, in case of a residential-commercial building, areas such as kitchen, restroom, and entrance are relatively weak-lighting areas. In case of a traditional apartment house, restroom and entrance are relatively weak-lighting areas. For that reason, a special lighting support is needed in these areas.

  • The purpose of this study is its residential spaces through the analysis of exterior space and interior space at Wu-lin Village(烏林屯) in Jiao-he, China. The method of this study is to search for documentation, interview, residents, make a survey of these villages about immigration history, surroundings, topographical keynotes, administration system, residential number, residential style, site composition, etc. The residents moved from Yen-bien and Jiao-he in China etc. The ancestor moved from North of Gyeong-Sang Province in South of Korea, North of Ham-Gyeong Province in North of Korea etc. The main road divides the village into two parts: the north quarter, Wu-lin Village, typified by the Chinese house, and the south quarter, You-Yi Village(友誼村), typified by the Korean-Chinese house. The houses is compose of main building and an accessory building. The main building looking south. The vegetable garden is around main buildings. The main building is compose of an On-dol room(a hot-floored room) and a kitchen, a corridor etc.

  • The area of Kimje has recently beeing changed into unran social structure and changed from rural residential type to rural type in residential circumstances since it was raised to city in 1989. Accordingly, the purpose of this thesis is to understand synthetically social structure change in the area of Kimje to compare and analyze characteristics in accordance with patterns of plane on detached houses and moreover to furnish basic data necessary for the process for the development of residential culture in Kimje in the future by investigating and analyzing use patterns of residential spacial utilization of the houses.

A Study on the Direction of Residential Environment Improvement through the Residents Survey in Long-term Public Rental Housing (장기공공임대주택 주민의식조사를 통한 주거환경개선방향 설정연구)

  • The residential environment of old and deteriorated public rental housing has been improved for preventing house deterioration through the facility improvement projects during the recent three years. The purpose of this study is to check the effect of applied facility improvement projects through a survey to residents on the significance degree of improving the residential environment and the satisfaction degree of current residential environment. Moreover, this study aims to draw out the direction of the residential environment improvement. At first, for this purpose, a survey to the residents of old and deteriorated public rental housing in the country was conducted. In addition, the mean value analysis on the satisfaction degree and significance degree was done, and the factor analysis was conducted for the distinction between types of items. As a result, 29 items of residential public space for residential environment improvement were divided into six factors and 28 items for generation of each units were divided into four factors. The mean value of the satisfaction degree and significance degree was compared. In conclusion, the design direction of environment improvement projects in the future was suggested with the result of the survey.

A Study on the Effect of the Middle School Students` Residental Environment on their Personality (중학생의 주거환경이 인성특성에 미치는 영향)

  • This study researched the interrelation between the development of the middle school student\` personality and their residential environments on 406 middle school students. The purpose of this research were to suggest a better residential environment as a desirable educational condition for making juveniles\` sound self-realization. The results of this research were as follows. 1. According to the their parents\` social status on middle school students\` personality the students. especially their parents had a service and technical expert official job of a better academic career showed an excellent score in personality. 2. According to the relation between the residential environment on their personality. it was said that the students. (1) who had their own study room at their own house. (2) who had a better house equipment and relatively a safety from fire danger. (3) who were living at the house which had been equipped a ventilation and sound isolation. were higher in the Personality score than any other groups. 3. According to the neighborhood and their personality the students who were living in some comfortable environments such as the divided collect of trash and the neighborhood natural surroundings skewed a high score in personality.

  • This paper is to clarify a cognitive structure of green environment in the traditional urban residential areas. The following is the result of analysis; 1) According to the survey of created actual condition of the green environment, the main space was consisted of court(74%). The percentage of preference locations for green environment at the court and the alley are 71, 60 respectively. The main reason to creat green environment resulted admiration and enjoyment. 2) The degree of $\ulcorner$agreeableness$\lrcorner$ and $\ulcorner$nobleness$\lrcorner$ of the house were increased by creating green environment in a house, and the degree of $\ulcorner$neighborhood$\lrcorner$ and $\ulcorner$familarity$\lrcorner$ were increased by creating green environment out side of house. 3) According to the analysis of a correlation between the degree of satisfaction and the image, $\ulcorner$agreeableness$\lrcorner$ has an interrelation with all factors of image. Therefore, the creating of $\ulcorner$agreeableness$\lrcorner$ is a main problem for raising the whole image of the residential areas.

Return Farmer and Expectant Return Farmer of Rural House Residential Satisfaction Comparative Study (귀농자와 예비자의 정주여건 인식 비교 연구)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the preferences for the physical features of return farmer housing. Housing problems of rural areas is one of the important factors that determine the quality of life in rural areas. Through these return farmer housing as it wants to improve the living environment of rural areas. The purpose of this study aims to find the required characteristics of the return farmer for rural activation. The survey was conducted to target the return farmer households living in housing and expectant return farmer living in the rural. The results of this study were as follows. First, expectant return farmer than return farmer are more importance to house outside(environmental) factors. Showed that environmental conditions are more important than housing conditions, expectant return farmer of residential satisfaction. Second, return farmer prefer ratio was higher House prices and sizes, expectant return farmer among the external factors such as environmental conditions is the distance to the workplace were very important. The results of this study can be a basis for effective strategies for future rural activation. More sustainable in the future, including the analysis of various parameters in progress by being linked to policy measures that will be provided. This study aims to be the foundation of sustainable housing policies for return farmer households.

A Study on the Variables Influencing Residential Stress Factors (주거환경 스트레스요인에 영향을 미치는 변인에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to identify residential stress and to analyse the factors affect on it, based on the comprehensive theoretical model. For this purpose, 822 housewives were collected from the households in Seoul and Chonju-City. The main results obtained are as follows. 1. A significant proportion of the urban households surveyed are observed to suffer from residential stressors. The components of residential stressors are housing facilities, family living space, social interaction with the neighborhoods, physical condition of house. 2. Among the factors that affect residential stress the most important household environment factors are, the level of family controllability, which is followed by the family adaptation ability, the size of living space, the level of life satisfaction, and the type of housing tenure. The results of this study implies that residential stress is associated with not only residential size but also the level of housing facilities and social interaction. Overall upgrading of residential quality requires efficient allocation of living space and facilities on the basis of resident's needs. For instance, homeowners want more living space and renters want higher level of residential facilities.

  • In this study, small domestic level to examine the development of housing product in terms residential environmental was to determine the spatial plan. And the purpose of this study is to provide a guideline for the lifestyle in small housing. The summary of the result is as follows: 1) Domestic supply and environmental issues in a small housing that drives many are residential. 2) Case of Japan, according to the look she saw a residential environmental assessment items, most services and facilities for the convenience and safety that were. 3)Sustainable development of small houses in order to make various layers sohwahae the development of housing types is needed.

  • This study had a aim to present a detailed investigation of the difference between the preoccupied and occupied space in the apartment house. In this connection, this study was to analyse the space configuration of the residential space with and without furniture for 3LDK plan in the apartment housing by the comparative method. The space configuration analysis which represents results a numeral and graphical ways is based on the relation between the space and the social changes. The results of this study were as follows; There were a various width of change of the integration value which represented the space configure between the residential space with and without furniture according to the sample plans. It means that the residential space redefine by residence, though the architect design the perfect plan to be considered user.
