A Study on the flexibility of an interior space utilizing system furniture (시스템가구를 활용한 실내공간 가변화 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to suggest a new system and standards of system furniture for promoting the efficiency of a l living space in order to cope with any possible change of a resident’s lifestyle. For this purpose, the study premises that the i idea of "flexibility" can provide a solution to problems with the resident’s current living space, and furthermore, it can fulfill the r resident’ s needs of a flexible living space. T To decide the needs of the flexibility of a living space, this paper examined and analyzed sever머 studies on the necessity of t the flexibility of a living space according to changes of one's lifestyle, characteristics and problems of each type of existing f furniture, and applications of each type of system furniture and it's flexibility. The results of this study is as follows: First, a new furniture system is necessary so that a resident can adjust one’s living space. Second, a plan for flexible interior s space can meet a current resident's demand of a flexible living space, not to mention an initial resident's .. Third, a systematic plan is needed to install system furniture in a living space to cope with changes of a resident’s lifestyle.s lifestyle.

The Effect of Female Farmers' Sense of Community on Resident Participation -Focusing on Mediating Effects on Regional Agriculture Leader's Capacity- (여성농업인의 공동체의식이 주민참여에 미치는 영향 -지역농업리더역량의 조절효과를 중심으로-)

  • This study aims to examine the moderating effect of regional agricultural leader's capacity between the sense of community of female farmers and the resident participation. A survey was conducted on 312 female farmers from October 20 to November 19, 2020. The main results of the analysis are as follows. First, it showed that the higher the sense of community, the higher the awareness of resident participation. Second, it was found that the sense of community had a positive effect on resident participation as self-directed learning capability was higher, and that self-directed learning capability had a moderating effect on the relationship between the sense of community and the resident participation. Third, regional agricultural leadership capacity was found to have a moderating effect in the relationship between the sense of community and the resident participation.

Effects of a Community-based Empowerment Program for Resident Leaders Participating in the Healthy Apartment Project (건강아파트 주민지도자 대상 지역사회역량강화 교육의 효과)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of a community-based empowerment program for resident leaders participating in the Healthy Apartment project. Methods: The design of this study was a single group pre-post test design. This program was consisted of 4-hour sessions. The total participants were 22 leaders. Results: The participants showed significant changes in social support (Z=-2.33, p=.020), collective action (Z=-3.91, p<.001), conflict and homogeneity (Z=-2.03, p=.042), and community perception index (Z=-3.97, p<.001) as sub factors of the individual level of SC-IQ (Integrated Questionnaire for the Measurement of Social Capital). They also showed significant changes in necessity of the resident organization (Z=-4.13, p<.001), resident participation (Z=-3.84, p<.001), convergence of resident opinion (Z=-3.94, p<.001) and the role of community leaders (Z=-3.94, p<.001) as sub factors of the perception and confidence of resident leaders (Z=-3.85, p<.001). Conclusion: Results indicate that the community-based empowerment program is effective in perceptions of social capital on the individual level and improvement of recognition as resident leaders and confidence for resident leaders.

  • This research is focused on the 'Resident-participated Workshop' which targets the improvement of residential environment of apartment complex from the residents' point of view. The purpose of the workshop is to induce the residents interest and encourage them to participate in design process, thus, residents will be satisfied with the result with affection and achievement. This research aims the effectiveness of 'Resident-participated' design plan as a program which enables them to maintain and self manage in the long run. The object of this research was the public space within the apartment complex of Susojugong Rental Apartment Complex in Gangnam-ku, Seoul and followings are the contents; 1. Method of 'Resident-participated Workshop'. 2. Program of 'Resident-participated Workshop'. 3. Design analysis of improved apartment complex through 'Resident-participated Workshop' and selection. As a result, it was noticeable that 'Resident-participated Workshop' was an important factor in decision making of designs from the very first stage through communication. As a part of workshop program, design game used cubic models which was useful to enhance the understanding of the participants. It also induced the cubic conception so that intercommunication with the design specialists was possible. But, the development of various workshop method to increase the residents' interest and participation is necessary, especially, program development is required to change the residents' attitude towards the design plan. It is anticipated that a continuous related research is neccsary in this regard.

A Study on the Willing-To-Pay on Modification Methods of Residents Registration Number System (주민등록번호제도 개편방안에 대한 국민들의 불편비용 : 주민등록번호 변경 방안에 대한 지불의사액 분석)

  • In 2015, Constitutional court of Korea declared that the Resident Registration Act was unconformable to Constitution. Therefore, the Resident Registration Act have to amend the article before 2018 for allowing to change one's Resident Registration Number. The most expensive cost to change one's Resident Registration Number System is the uncomfortable cost of changing the Number. This study invests the uncomfortable cost of changing the Number by Willingness to pay Method. In result, the cost of changing all 13 numbers would \ 160,000, the cost of changing 7 numbers would \ 108,000, and the cost of making Second Registration Number would \ 110,000. This result could be used to analyze the B/C ratio of changing the Resident Registration Number System.

  • In this paper, a psycho-behavioral aspects which have important effects on the resident territorial behavior were investigated and analyzed. Data were sampled by questionaries survey in Seoul and Daejon metropolitan cities. A total of 518 questionaries were completed by the resident those were mostly homemakers. The results of this study could find to support the following conclusions. The resident who associate with more neighborhood have higher level of using common spaces. Those associate with more neighbors tend to feel safer, the resident use the common spaces more frequently are likely to feel safer. The resident belong to the intimate group have stronger territorial feeling against strangers. A well organized territory may provide more intimate to neighborhood association.

A Study of the Alternative Means of Korean Resident Registration Number using the Authorized Certificate (공인인증서를 이용한 주민등록번호 대체수단에 관한 연구)

  • The personal information extrusion accident(hacking, improper maintenance) by the internet has been increased rapidly during the last ten-year period. The personal information includes Korean resident registration number, name, cellphone number, home telephone number, E-mail address, home address, etc. Korean resident registration number is unchangeable from the cradle to the grave. Illegally accessed personal information can be wrongfully resoled or used at phishing scam. In this paper, we propose a alternative means of Korean resident registration number using the authorized certificate. The authorized certificate is in use safely in Internet. The authorized certificate(included Chinese name) is in used in offline service, the authorized certificate(included English name) is used in online(for government service) and the authorized certificate(not included name) is used in online(for private service). The authorized certificates are possible for discard, republication. The method can reduce the possibility of the personal information extrusion.

A Survey on Preservation of Traditional Stone Fences in Jeju (제주 전통돌담의 유지보전에 관한 의식조사)

  • The purpose of this paper is to analyze the value of stone fences in Jeju Island. The result that executes attitude survey to local resident and visitor can be summarizing as following. First are the function and the value of Jeju traditional stone fences. Local resident favored the culture heritage succession and evaluated its' usage Value highly. Visitors also have favored rural landscape offer function and evaluated inheritance value (Bequest Value) highly. Secondly, 80.5% of visitors, 78.1% of local resident have formed opinion about preservation of traditional stone fences. But the Willingness to pay for traditional stone fences fund was raised by 38.6% in local resident and 55.7% in visitor. The reason that willingness to pay does not exist is that it is chargeable to connection group and government, or it has no money to pay. Thirdly, local resident wanted to use made up stone fence preservation fund in rural landscape offer function. Visitor wanted that it is used to raise various function of stone fence.

Longitudinal Patterns of Unmarried Resident Fathers' Engagement with Young Children in the U.S.: Examining the Role of Ethnicity and Extended Family Relationship

  • This study examined the role of ethnicity and extended family relationship in the longitudinal patterns of unmarried resident fathers' engagement with young children in the U.S. Using three waves of panel data from the Fragile Families and Child Wellbeing Study (FFCWS), data obtained from 292 respondents were analyzed by the Linear Mixed Effects Regression (LMER) method. Findings suggested that Black unmarried resident fathers exhibited more engagement with their infants at age one than their White counterparts did, but the initial difference reversed by age five as a result of decreasing engagement among Black fathers over time and comparatively increasing engagement among Whites. Results also suggested that Black unmarried resident fathers with a high relationship level with their extended family members exhibited less engagement with their infants than Black fathers with a low relationship level, but the initial difference reversed by age five as a result of decreasing engagement among Black fathers with a low relationship level over time and comparatively increasing engagement among Black fathers with a high relationship level.
