A person's residence is the primary environment which affects physical and emotional-gratification. Residential environments are very important to a person's quality of life. Because the age of society has rapidly increased, we must take a profound interest in the welfare and residences of the aged. While the government has begun to prepare for an aging society, the residential environments of the aged has not been fully considered. Because the welfare of the aged begins in the house, the term 'residence for the aged' is not limited to the physical space. Because residences for the old aged are included in various social policies such as family relations, social security, health care, safety etc, relevant policies for these residences must be prepared as rapidly as possible. This study-focused on both the importance of residences for the aged and the residential desires of the aged, and aims to propose planning criteria for the residences of the aged.

As of November 1st 2010, 59% of overall residences in Korea are apartments with 8,185,000 households and when including the multi-unit houses, 71.0% of the overall residences are multifamily houses. The apartments have become the most universal form of residence in Korea and its' relative weight will continuously increase in the future. Meanwhile, Korea has turned into aging society in 2000 and will turn into the super-aged society by 2026 to display the world's fastest speed for aging. Majority of the elderly will spend their declining years in apartments. To understand the residence consciousness and its' properties for unit housing of the elderly residing in apartments, the present study obtained the following results through surveying the 541 nationwide samples. First, the elderly most prefer the mid and high levels(6-9th floors, or 10-15th floors) of apartments. Second, the elderly couples most prefer areas of $85m^2$ while single elderly most prefer $60m^2$. Third, the elderly feel the most inconveniences in bathrooms and showers. Fourth, safety accidents in dwelling of the elderly have no significant correlation with age, gender or their possessed diseases. Fifth, the elderly displayed high satisfaction for their bedrooms. Sixth, there were less tendencies for elderly to feel lack of storage spaces or conduct remodeling. As a result of the analysis, all apartment houses of Korea must support the physical aging of residents and prevent safety accidents in houses to enable Korean aging in place.

Recently, the dramatical increasement of personal information infringement makes the government strongly enforce the laws. The Key-point of law enforcement is the DB encryption. Nevertheless, DB encryption is the one of the hardest thing in the organization's security measures. The purpose of this paper is suggesting alternative means of residence numbers and showing the possibility of indicator usage for safety measures. This research suggested the best ways to make a decision through a before and after comparison of the DB encryption cost of the inherent identification number elimination in "Social Welfare consolidation service system". When this research result was applied in "Happiness-e-Um system", we found that the alternative means are more efficient than the residence number for encryption cost, system revision time and so on.
In the process of the sustainable development of the world economy, the change and construction of urban living environment has always been the focus of people's attention. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to find out the potential safety hazards in residential areas, and put forward feasible improvement plans under the framework of CPTED theory. One is to collect the necessary literature. Secondly, according to the field investigation and questionnaire survey, sorting out the existing security risks. Finally, this paper puts forward the corresponding improvement and suggestion to this research. The conclusion is as follows: First, based on the six principles of CPTED theory, problems existing in Gamcheon Cultural Village, which is subject to research, were investigated. Second, six of the most serious safety issues (safety handle, landscaping, entrance control, signs, empty space, monitoring) were objectively analyzed, and designs were presented in terms of increasing safety stairs, installing automatic entrances, open access view, unifying signs, and building leisure areas.
The housing is a human's basic space and the comfort and the safety are the most basic conditions. According to the flow of age for Well-Being since the 21th, the suppliers and the users of apartment are making best effort now for the embossment of green environmental quality of apartment, and outstretch their hands for marketing strategic purposes in a side of indoor and outdoor environment with distinctive elements. But these supply and use are on progress competitively with the simple distinction, it is thought that indoor and outdoor environment are must be promoted according to the survey of residents' consciousness. So this study aims to provide basic materials with residents for the promotion of comfortable dwelling environment by solving the basic safety problem and also aims to survey and analyze the residents' safety consciousness in object of physical and non-physical environmental quality of indoor and outdoor of apartment by analyzing indoor air quality pollution, the feeling of being victimize caused by air pollution and safety consciousness according to physical environment elements.

This study seeks to identify elements of spatial planning for areas surrounding children's parks in order to improve child safety. It will identify different aspects of child safety and extract elements of safety planning for the areas surrounding children's parks from a literature review of both domestic and international research. The study classifies the space between one's residence and the children's park as either a "means of access", such as pedestrian walkways and streets, or a "boundary", which consists of the entrance, exit, and fences; then, the derived safety planning elements were categorized in accordance with this classification. In order to ensure the validity of the planning elements, an expert survey was conducted of environment planners who specialize in the palnning and designing of residential area as well as government employees who are in direct charge of managing children's parks. The survey findings were as follow. First, the pedestrian walkway(means of access) near the park is the most crucial factor in regards to the safety of children, followed by the entrance and exit(boundary), fency(boundary), and streets (means of access), in descending order of importance. Thus, improving the safety of the pedestrian walkway should be considered first and foremost, and it should precede improving the surrounding streets. Second, an investigation of the need for safety devices near the children's park showed that securing visibility, through the installation of an illegal parking prevention device, is imperative. Illegal parking near children's parks poses a grave risk to pedestrian safety and demands immediate action. Furthermore, a section of streets within 300m of the park entrance should be designated as a children protection zone, in addition to the designation of school zones near elementary schools.
The purpose of this study is to provide basic data for the children so as to avoid any accidents and to improve their health through a sound and safe living environment with safety education established through more systematic methods. For the study, the methods used include the questionnaires for collecting data which are distributed among 273 children from 3 to 6 years old. They live in three districts of Seoul (Kangnam and Kangbuk), Kyeonggido (Munsan and Ilsan) and Incheon. The children's general characteristics are investigated and the relationship between the accident-proneness prospects and their results are analyzed assuming that children's health is expected to have an effect on their safety. The findings of the study are as follows: 1. The accident-proneness prospect (for the living safety) has significant difference in sleeping habits and physically weak conditions(p<0.05). 2. The accident-proneness prospect (for the traffic safety) has no significant difference in accordance with the children's health condition. 3. Children's reasoning power has no significant difference in accordance with their health condition. 4. Children's movement speed non-significantly differs in accordance with their health condition. 5. Children's movement stability has a significant difference in accordance with their health conditions such as history of mild disease(p<0.05) and physical work capacity(p<0.05). 6. Children's attention power has no significant difference in accordance with their health condition. 7. Children's characteristic activities show a significant difference in accordance with their health history of mild disease(p<0.05). mental health(p<0.05). eating habits(p<0.05) and others (i.e. auditory abnormality and skin desease)(p<0.05). 8. General assessment of the APP test has no significant difference in accordance with their health condition. 9. The health conditions are a significant difference in the history of mild disease in accordance with sex(p<0.05) and whole family members(p<0.001). Also there are shown significant differences. in accordance with sex(p<0.05). in physical work capacity(p<0.05). Eye sight, blood circulation and skin condition show significant differences in accordance with residence(p<0.05) and whole family members(p<0.01). and the condition of eating habits appeared significant in accordance with age(p<0.05). Also, sleeping habits and physically weak conditions shows significant differences in accordance with age(p<0.001) and housing pattern(p<0.01), and others (i.e. auditory abnormality and skin desease) show significant differences in accordance with residence (p<0.001).
Mo-99(Molybdenum) is the only source of Tc-99m(Technetium) which is most frequently used in nuclear medical diagnostics and the demand is on the increase recently. Separation and refining of Mo-99 was investigated by adsorption and desorption on alumina. At pH=0.63, adsorption isotherm of Mo was fitted by Redlich & Peterson equation using the adsorption experimental data. It was found that the pore diffusion model ($D_p=1.4{\times}10^{-6}cm^2/s, K_f/=0.4 cm/s$) agreed well with batch adsorption experimental data. RTDs(Residence Time Distributions ) were measured and axial dispersion coefficients were obtained in the fixed bed absorber according to the changes of the flow rate using 0.05% -NaCl. From the adsorption experimental data, it was shown that the behavior of breakthroughs depended on flow rate. Mo recovery yield was increased as adsorption flow rate was increased and desorption flow rate was decreased.
Factor analysis is estimated using housewives's intention data in Seoul province. Rice consumers considered safety, high nutritive value, shape and cultivation region as important factors in buying rice. The factors of food safety are brand and quality certification mark. The differences of two housewife groups on safety factor are caused by residence type, employment existence and residence region.
