  • The HEMU-400X project starts last year. It is important first of all that describe correctly system requirement until configuration of system, design, manufacturing, installation and test verification so that the complicated high-speed electric multiple unit is to run safety and reliable and to achieve target performance and function properly. The system requirement assist the system designer to comprehensive the performance and function of system in basic design. This paper proposes the development methodology of system requirement for HEMU-400X.

  • 국가 연구 개발 사업을 통해 수행된 도시형 자기 부상 열차 실용화 사업은 중저속 자기부상열차시스템 개발기술을 확보하고 시범노선 구축 및 시험운행을 통해 상용화를 목적으로 자기부상열차로서 국내에서는 최초의 상용화이며 완전무인운전시스템 구현을 목표하고 있다. 본 연구는 사업에 참여하는 기업, 연구소들의 시스템엔지니어링 활동의 핵심이라고 할 수 있는 도시형자기부상열차 시스템요구사항을 개발하고, 요구사항을 기반으로 도출된 추적성 기법을 제안하였다. 본 논문에서는 사업 전주기에 걸쳐 관리할 수 있는 체계를 정립하고, 카테고라이징 및 DB화를 통하여, 사용자 중심의 엔지니어링 도구를 개발함으로써, 도시형 자기부상열차 시스템의 개발 및 구축을 효과적으로 지원할 수 있도록 하였다.

  • This paper introduces the software life-cycle V&V (verification and validation) tasks for the KNICS (Korea nuclear instrumentation and control system) project. The objectives of the V&V tasks are mainly to develop a programmable logic controller (PLC) for safety critical instrumentation and control (I&C) systems, and then to apply the PLC to developing the prototype of an engineered safety features-component control system (ESF-CCS) in nuclear power plants. As preparative works for the software V&V, various kinds of software plans and V&V task procedures have been developed according to the software life-cycle management. A number of software V&V tools have been adopted or developed to efficiently support the V&V tasks. The V&V techniques employed in this work include a checklist-based review and inspection, a requirement traceability analysis, formal verification, and life-cycle based software testing.

  • The paper aims at presenting a systematic approach process and a method of requirement validation and system verification. Validation is applied during concept development to ensure conceptual validity, requirements validity, and design validity. Verification work is applied subsequent to the design work on test articles and early production items to produce evidence that the design solutions do, in fact, satisfy th requirements. In this paper, we present a requirements validation model and a system verification model. This models are applied to the development of TTX(Tilting Train Express)system with systems engineering tool, CORE.

  • In this paper a prototype of Requirement Tracking and Verification System(RTVS) for a Distributed Control System was implemented and tested. The RTVS is a software design and verification tool. The main functions required by the RTVS are managing, tracking and verification of the software requirements listed in the documentation of the DCS. The analysis of DCS software design procedures and inter(aces with documents were performed to define the user of the RTVS, and the design requirements for RTVS were developed.

  • Currently in domestic, it is difficult to the evacuation in fire due to the building is higher. Therefore it is necessary to evacuation safety design of building. To conduct the evacuation fire design of building, it should be done the Evacuation Safety Verification. But it is not sufficient the Study about Evacuation Safety Verification in currently domestic. Therefore in this study, we conducted the evacuation safety verification using people who they can't the evacuation themselves. The method of verification, we suggest the comparative that people who they can't the evacuation themselves and available safety evacuation time. Available safety evacuation time is determined by determined method from disaster statistics of casualties or equivalence with current standard requirement. it is doing to objectively judge of evacuation safety design validity in building.

Mathematical Verification of a Nuclear Power Plant Protection System Function with Combined CPN and PVS

  • In this work, an automatic software verification method for Nuclear Power Plant (NPP) protection system is developed. This method utilizes Colored Petri Net (CPN) for system modeling and Prototype Verification System (PVS) for mathematical verification. In order to help flow-through from modeling by CPN to mathematical proof by PVS, an information extractor from CPN models has been developed in this work. In order to convert the extracted information to the PVS specification language, a translator also has been developed. ML that is a higher-order functional language programs the information extractor and translator. This combined method has been applied to a protection system function of Wolsong NPP SDS2(Steam Generator Low Level Trip). As a result of this application, we could prove completeness and consistency of the requirement logically. Through this work, in short, an axiom or lemma based-analysis method for CPN models is newly suggested in order to complement CPN analysis methods and a guideline for the use of formal methods is proposed in order to apply them to NPP Software Verification and Validation.

  • 실시간 검증은 명세와 요구사항과의 논리적 정확성 뿐만 아니라 시간적 정확성을 확인하는 일련의 과정이다. 하지만 시간의 무한성에 의해 시스템 상태가 무한히 증가할 수 있는 상태 폭발 문제가 검증과정에서 중요한 문제점이 되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 형식 검증에 기반을 두며, 시스템의 행위 측면을 시간 오토마타로 기술한 시스템 모델이 Timed mu-calculus로 표현된 시스템의 특성에 만족하는지의 여부를 통해 명세의 완전성을 확인하는 실시간 검증 비법을 기술한다. 이를 위해 초기상태의 논리값에 초점을 두어 검증과정에서 필요로 하는 노드로만 Product Graph를 구성하여 노드 값을 결정해나가는 지역모형검사 기법에 대해 제안한다. 이 방법은 모델의 모든 상태를 조사하지 않으므로 상태 폭발 문제를 최소화 시킬 수 있어 실시간 시스템 검증에 효과적으로 적용이 가능하다.
