The objective of this study is to analyze how consumption value affects customer satisfaction toward eco-friendly seafood products. Moderating role of gender is also examined. For empirical validation of our model, data were collected from a cross-sectional survey of 307 consumers in the South Korea, who have bought a eco-friendly seafood, a representatives eco-friendly product. The results demonstrated several important findings. First, emotional consumption value, social consumption value and functional consumption value had significant positive effects on eco-friendly seafood product satisfaction, Second, interaction effect of social value and gender had a positive effect on satisfaction. Third, interaction effect of functional value and gender had a negative effect on satisfaction. Theoretical and managerial implications are suggested.

A large sample (1090) of randomly selected early childhood education professionals and government officials rated each of the 133 standards of "A Model for Institutional Accreditation for Early Childhood Education and Care"(Yang, 1999) on a scale of 1 (least important) to 5 (most important). Findings were that all kindergartens and child care centers should be evaluated for accreditation every 3 years with 3-6 months for self-study and on-site validation visits by representatives of the appropritates agencies for 1-2 days. Evaluation results are should be used by institution personnel as a guide to self-supervision, by government officials as a funding standard and by parents as criteria of program quality. Essential accreditation standards included: facilities and equipment; curriculum; nutrition, health and safety; administration and management; and support systems. Safety and teacher-child interactions were most highly rated while parent involvement was not highly rated.

Relational discriminant analysis is a way of representing an object based on the dissimilarity measures among the prototypes extracted from feature vectors instead of the vectors themselves. Thus, by appropriately selecting a few number of representatives and by defining the dissimilarity measure, in this paper we propose a method of reducing the dimensionality and getting to achieve a better classification performance in both speed and accuracy. Our experimental results demonstrate that the proposed mechanism increases the performance as compared with the conventional approaches for samples involving artificial data sets.

In 1995, a group of representatives from the integrated circuits and computer-aided design industries presented a industry standard bipolar model called the VBIC model. The VBIC model includes the improved Early effect, quasi-saturation, substrate parasitic, avalanche multiplication, and self-heating which are not available in the conventional SGP model. This paper applies VBIC model for SiGe HBT device and develops an accurate and efficient methodology to extract all the DC and AC parameters of the VBIC model for SiGe HBT device at room temperature. Simulated results by the extracted VBIC model parameter are compared with the measurement data and show very good agreement in both DC and s-parameters prediction.

월드 와이드 웹(WWW)서비스는 상당한 지연이 발생할 것이라고 예상하는 수준까지 성장해 왔다. 이런 이유로 웹 지연시간을 줄이기 위한 기술들이 중요하게 되었다. 프록시 서버 캐시는 느린 응답시간과 네트워크 정체와 같은 문제들을 해결하기 위해서 제안되었는데 이런 프록시 서버들을 계층적으로 구성하는 방법에 대한 많은 연구가 있었다. 하지만 이런 일반적인 웹캐싱 계층 기법들은 프록시 서버들간의 통신 경로에 있어서 유연성을 제공하지 못하는 정적 구조의 기법이다. 이런 정적인 기법에서의 단점을 해결하기 위해서 캐싱 지역 프로토콜(Caching Neighborhood Protocol)이 제안되었고 이 CNP는 요청들을 협력적으로 처리하는 일련의 프록시 서버의 집합이 매 단일 요청에 대해서 바뀔 수 있고 이에 따라서 요청 처리 경로가 다양해 질 수 있기 때문에 정적 구조 기법과는 반대인 동적 구조 기법이다. 하지만 이러한 동적 웹 캐싱 계층 구조인 CNP에서는 각 웹서버를 대표하는 캐싱 대리인(Caching Representatives)에 대한 웹문서의 링크참조정보와 부하정보를 고려하지 않았기 때문에 사용자에게 빠른 응답시간을 제공하지 못하는 단점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 최근에 제안되었던 프록시 서버들을 동적 웹캐싱 계층으로 구성한 CNP와 새로 추가된 C-Rep의 상태정보를 이용해서 새로운 요청 라우팅 기법을 제안하였다. 제안한 기법은 이런 C-Rep의 상태정보를 이용하여 응답시간의 향상과 C-Rep의 부하를 분산시킬 수 있었다.

군집화는 데이터 집합을 유사한 데이터 개체들의 군집들로 분할하여 데이터 속에 존재하는 의미 있는 정보를 얻는 과정이다. 대부분의 군집화 기법들은 비교적 적은 양의 데이터를 대상으로 한 것이고 다차원 대용량의 데이터 처리에 관한 문제는 다루지 않고 있어서 데이터 마이닝을 위한 군집화 기법으로는 부적절하다. 따라서 본 논문을 통해 대용량의 데이터에 적용할 수 있는 새로운 군집화 알고리즘인 계층적 대표값 군집화(HRC) 기법을 제안한다. HRC는 자기조직화지도와 계층적 군집화 기법을 접목한 하이브리드 방법으로 두 단계에 거쳐 군집화를 수행한다. 첫 번째 단계에서 자기조직화지도를 통해 데이터를 요약하고, 두 번째 단계에서 요약된 대표값 정보만을 가지고 계층적인 군집화를 수행한다. 또한, 두 번째 단계의 계층적 군집화 적용시 양질의 군집을 발견하기 위해 군집간의 유사도를 측정하는 새로운 척도를 고안하였다. 그리고 실험을 통해 HRC와 기존 군집화 알고리즘이 발견한 군집의 질을 비교하여 성능을 평가했다.

Some customer data of manufacturing industries have a large number of incomplete data set due to the customer's infrequent purchasing behavior and the limitation of customer profile data gathered from sales representatives. So that, most sophisticated data analysis methods may not be applied directly. This paper proposes a heuristic data analysis method to classify customers in household appliances industries. The proposed PD (percent of difference) method can be used for the discriminant analysis of incomplete customer data with simple mathematical calculations. The method is composed of variable distribution estimation step, PD measure and cluster score evaluation steps, variable impact construction step, and segment assignment step. A real example is also presented.

Recently, the cases of lawsuit are growing on residential defects. Though, mostly residential construction companies are trying to mitigate resident's dissatisfaction due to keep the company's brand image by operating customer service team, some representatives of apartment buildings initiate litigations without any negotiation with countrepartner companys incited by planned suit lawyers. But lawsuit takes longtime to sentence(about more than one year), and judged amount of money are very few (averaging about 14%) compared with asserted amount of it. To suggest the improving alternatives, the types and problems of defect lawsuit on apartment complex are analyzed.

This present study focuses on Franco's censorship and its influences in the works of Carmen Martín Gaite and Miguel Delibes. We know that from the years 1940's to 1970's a very harsh censorship existed in Spain. But the authors of those times were not completely obedient to the power of the Regime. Some authors attempted to find a new way to present his novels. In fact, Between Curtains of Martín Gaite shows an ideology that advocates for women who were not valued as deserved at the time. Against Franco's totalitarianism the author indirectly revealed readers an attempt to improve the situation of women, criticizing the tradition. On the other hand, Delibes sought a new way of presenting the novel in Five Hours with Mario to avoid Franco regime's censorship. The author hid behind a character that represents Franco's politics to criticize the society of that time. The both authors as representatives of contemporary Spanish literature demonstrate that the oppression does not restrict the authors' ability to create unexpected works.

In a population-based study with 4 years of follow up, we evaluated the prevalence of Coxiella burnetii in cattle on Ulleung Island, Korea. In this study, the rates of C. burnetii infection in cattle on Ulleung Island were determined by PCR and were found to be 0.3-1.0% in the period 2011-2014. All 17 C. burnetii partial 16S rRNA gene sequences from PCR-positive cattle were identical and 2 geographic representatives were included in our analysis. The nucleotide sequences of the 2 samples showed high (98.4-100%) identity with C. burnetii sequences obtained from the GenBank. In this long-term tracking study, the number of cattle positive for C. burnetii on Ulleung Island was low. To prevent the transmission of C. burnetii on Ulleung Island, control strategy should include biosecurity improvement in surveillance, livestock management, administering suitable tests before purchasing animals to detect C. burnetii shedders, and restricting movements between herds.
