  • In the scripture of Daesoon Jinrihoe, the expression 'Dosu (度數)' is frequently used and Jeungsan, Jeongsan, and Wudang also left behind many teachings related to Dosu. In this paper, the concept of Dosu is analyzed in detail and the achievement of an in-depth understanding of the concept of Dosu is attempted. The term Dosu is often used in traditional literature. In the classics, Dosu was used to mean institutions, standards, rules, law, figures, and the laws of heavenly bodies. In other words, Dosu is used to mean the laws of astronomy and the norms of human society. This meaning is expanded and used as the principle of the universe and nature. This concept of Dosu is related to the mathematical cosmological understanding of numbers as the principle of the universe. This type of mathematical cosmology was systematized by Shao Yong (邵雍). In the Joseon Dynasty, Seo Gyungduk (徐敬德) accepted it positively, and it thereby became an influential trend in Korean thought. In the world view of Daesoon thought, there exists the view that numbers as a principle of the universe, and of course this world view is connected to mathematical cosmology. In Daesoon thought, the concept of Dosu is based on the concept of traditional Dosu and adds an additional meaning which connects it to the Reordering of the Universe (Cheonjigongsa). Also, Dosu is used to mean the process of changing the principles and laws of cosmos through Jeungsan's Reordering of the Universe. It is especially the case that discourse about Dosu is widely used when describing the Reordering of the Universe. Jeungsan corrected, reorganized, and adjusted Dosu, as well as establishing new Dosu. Jeongsan, who succeeded Jeungsan, followed the Reordering of the Universe by Jeungsan, and also realized Dosu. In other words, Jeongsan acted and practiced according to the Dosu that had been enacted by Jeungsan. Also, Dosu means the process of the transformation of principle according to the Reordering of the Universe, and Wudang used the concept of Dosu to describe the historical process of Daesoon Jinrihoe. This means that the foundation of Mugeukdo, the change to Taegukdo, the establishment of Daesoon Jinrihoe, and the contruction of Yeoju headquarters are episodes in a divine history carried out through Dosu. Through this discourse, Daesoon Jinrihoe asserts a legitimacy that distinguishes itself from other sects, and believers can be inspired by the sacred meaning that they are participating in the Dosu of heaven and earth. This empowers their devotion and sincerity.

  • This paper aims to define Kang Jeungsan's Reordering Works of Heaven and Earth through the Hegelian concept of 'labor (arbeit),' which is the fundamental medium in which humans substantialize their own absoluteness in an existentialist context. The Reordering Works of Heaven and Earth performed by Jeungsan enabled Heaven, Earth, and Humanity to communicate with each other through the harmony of Sangsaeng (Mutual Beneficence). As Hegel found the possibility of freedom and emancipation of human subjects through labor and Jeungsan exercised His will to free and emancipate human beings, comparative thinkers are led to recognize a relationship between His Reordering Works of Heaven and Earth and the Hegelian concept of labor. The key point of this paper centers around articulating the meaning of the precise situation wherein labor occurs for the Supreme Being. Labor is a concept that occurs for real-live humans. Human beings can be said to exist between the ideological world and the natural world, or between Heaven and Earth, and this dichotomy creates a specific product given the interplay of infinitude and finitude that it entails. In other words, labor is not a passive deployment but is instead a subjective development. From the point wherein this labor occurs for the Supreme Being, a paradigm shift towards unity begins throughout the universe. The occurrence of God's labor happens at a time of great transformation. These occurrences of God's labor form the communication among Heaven, Earth and Humanity and form a qualitative equality. In other words, the fact that God is far from the world of ideology and has come into the world of finitude means that God conveys His absoluteness to the world of finitude. Therefore, the work of God on Earth builds the world of Heaven on Earth. This can also be seen as the Sangsaeng of Heaven, Earth and Humanity.

  • Test data volume and power consumption for scan vectors are two major problems in system-on-a-chip testing. Therefore, this paper proposes a new test data compression/decompression method for low power testing. The method is based on analyzing the factors that influence test parameters: compression ratio, power reduction and hardware overhead. To improve the compression ratio and the power reduction ratio, the proposed method is based on Modified Statistical Coding (MSC), Input Reduction (IR) scheme and the algorithms of reordering scan flip-flops and reordering test pattern sequence in a preprocessing step. Unlike previous approaches using the CSR architecture, the proposed method is to compress original test data, not $T_{diff}$, and decompress the compressed test data without the CSR architecture. Therefore, the proposed method leads to better compression ratio with lower hardware overhead and lower power consumption than previous works. An experimental comparison on ISCAS '89 benchmark circuits validates the proposed method.

  • Mobile nodes in FHMIPv6 has both advantages of HMIPv6 protocol which reduces signaling delay time and resource consumption during a handover and fast handover algorithm which reduces packet loss. Fast handover algorithm can reduce packet loss by 'tunneling' method ; that transmits a packet from old access router to new access router in case of handover. However, the fast handover algorithm can cause a reordering problem in a receiver between packets tunneled from the previous access router and packets transmitted directly to the new access router, which could degrade the TCP performance due to congestion control. In this paper, we propose two algorithms to solve the reordering problem in fast handover. The first one uses a holding timer for tunneling, the other adds a new algorithm to routers that adopt snoop protocol. We compare the performance of the proposed reseuquencing algorithms with that of the existing FHMIPv6 protocol by simulation. The simulation results show that the proposed algorithms solve the reordering problems and enhance TCP performance by preventing TCP sender entering congestion control.

  • Multipath TCP (MPTCP), which is a layer 4 protocol that can get the reliability and the efficiency of the transmission by using multipath transfer, was standardized by the IETF. MPTCP provides superior performance when compared to a single TCP when used in a homogeneous network with similar network characteristics. However, MPTCP degrades performance when used in heterogeneous networks with different network characteristics. In this paper, we propose 'Delay-alerted path-blocking scheduler'. It measures the delay of each path and blocks the path with a long delay to reduce the order of packets in the receive buffer. If the duplicated packet is sent to the blocked path to measure the delay and the congestion on the blocking path is reduced, the blocked path is unblocked. For performance analysis, the proposed scheduler was implemented in the Linux kernel and improved performance was obtained in the test bed. We also confirmed that the proposed scheduler reduces the degradation of MPTCP performance in real wireless networks with heterogeneous path characteristics.

  • The script of the Fellowship of Daesoon Truth, 『Jeongyeong』 consists of seven sectors and 17 chapters. The seven sectors include 「Life of Sangje」, 「Reordering of the Universe」, 「Passing on of Teaching」, 「Law of Teaching」, 「Wisdom」, 「Cure of the Sick」, and 「Foreseeing」. The chapter 「Reordering of the Universe」 has the most records about Sangje, while the 「Law of Teaching」 has the most variety of materials in many passages about Sangje. This shows that the chapter 「Reordering of the Universe」 puts emphasis on the unique religious activities of Sangje and 「Law of Teaching」 is important for its edifying elements. "Law of teaching" is 敎法(Gyobeop) in Chinese character. 敎 means "teaching" and 法 "laws". What is law? A law becomes the rules for maintaining order of a society. In the view of religion, the law is ethical rules set by Kang Jeungsan to keep an order in the world. The first and second chapters of 「Law of Teaching」 have writings on 1. What Sangje said in person to the disciples, 2. The teachings Sangje gave to the disciples in certain occasions, 3. Reality of the society in late Joseon Dynasty, 4. Teachings related to the historical figures and old stories, and 5. Literatures. The third chapter has two special types of writing, which is about Taoism myths and statements written only in Chinese characters. In 『Daesoon Jeongyeong Volume 6』, the chapter 「Words of Law」 has more contents on edification for disciples, Cheok and resolving grudges with more detailed expression of woman resolving their piled up grudges. This chapter also has writings about discriminating old evil customs of Confucianism, emphasizing virtue and act of reciprocating for offered graces while training of one's mind and working on one's daily practice (shown in Sangje's saying about certain historical figures, quoting the Song of Suwun, statements in Chinese characters), Sangje's opinion about Japan, China, ancestral beings, eating raw foods, Byeokgok and others. In comparison with 「Words of Law」 in 『Daesoon Jeongyeong Volume 6』, which was issued in 1965 as the previous generation literature, 「Law of Teaching」 in 『Jeongyeong』 has many additional statements made to existing passages. Also, some passages were combined of two previous passages, some words were corrected, and in some passages, additional statements were made about the same person mentioned in another passage. And some passages were dropped. For the contents, 『Jeongyeong』 has additional statements about spiritual training of one's mind and practicing the teaching in daily lives, which indicates that 『Jeongyeong』 is focusing more on actual daily practice and the idea of overcoming hardships during the practice and realizing the principle of Resolution of all grudges.

  • In religious studies, soteriology is a belief system that aims to compensate and solve the existential suffering of human beings through a doctrinal system of healing, liberation, and salvation as advocated by various religions. The purpose of this study is to understand the soteriology of Dasesoon Jinrihoe, a Korean new religion, and to understand its characteristics. The soteriology of Daesoon Jinrihoe is closely related to the theory of The Reordering Works of Heaven and Earth. The Reordering Works of Heaven and Earth is a doctrinal system in which the Supreme God, Jeungsan, was incarnated into a human body to rescue the world and creation and to achieve this, he had performed various religious works. In addition, the soteriology of Daesoon Jinrihoe is linked to the theory of orthodox lineage spanning Jeungsan to Jeongsan and lastly to Udang. The work of salvation performed by Jeungsan is settled by Jeongsan who systematized it into methods of practice. This soteriology has distinctive differences separating it from traditional religious traditions. First, it shows the characteristic of offering salvation through a supreme, personal God. Second, Jeungsan is seen as having changed the cosmic law and provided the basis for the world and creation to be saved. Finally, it proposes a theory that saving the world and creation is to be achieved through the principle of the Resolution of Grievances.

  • DRAM with ECC is used widely and the size of DRAW increases. According to this, DRAM initial time, especially the time to make the whole area typical value, 0, increases. This paper introduces the method that without any additional hardware, using characteristic of DRAM and DRAM controller, minimize that memory initial time. Conservative reordering - it eliminates DRAM read time and makes write buffer used - reduces initial time to make the whole DRAM area 0, by 95.36% for DDR DRAM. 9341% for Rambus DRAM.

  • This paper presents BIST (Built-in self-test) techniques for detection of path delay faults in digital circuits. In the proosed BIST schemes, the shift registers make possible to concurrently generate and compact the latched test data. Therefore the test time is reduced efficiently. By reordering the elements of th shifte register based on the information of the hamming distance of each memory elements in CUt, it is possible to increase the number of path delay faults detected robustly/non-robustly. Experimental results for ISCAS'89 benchmark circuits show the efficiency of the proposed BIST techniques.
