초전도 전자석을 이용한 제철소 폐수처리용 자기분리 연구 (Study on magnetic separation of waste water using superconducting magnet)

  • It is needed several large reservoirs and long time in order to remove suspended solid like steel fines and iron oxide at steel making factory. If removing rate of suspended solid in rolling coolant is improved, the productivity of working process can be increased and the area of reservoir can be reduced. Pre-treatment to add extra magnetization of suspended solid was studied Iron hydroxide and electrolytic dissociation were used for pretreatment. High gradient magnetic separation (HGMS) system was used for removing of magnetized suspended solid. Removing ratio showed over than 99% in the coolant containing magnetic fines. Magnetic properties of suspended solid were investigated after mixed with Al2(SO2)3 and organic flocculant by using electrochemical treatment.

그래핀 원스텝 전사(Graphene One-Step Transfer) 공정 기반 다층 그래핀 잔여분말 제거 기술 연구 (A Study on Residual Powder Removing Technique of Multi-Layered Graphene Based on Graphene One-Step Transfer Process)

  • In this study, a method to remove residual powder on a multi-layered graphene and a new approach to transfer multi-layered graphene at once are studied. A graphene one-step transfer (GOST) method is conducted to minimize the residual powder comparison with a layer-by-layer transfer. Furthermore, a residual powder removing process is investigated to remove residual powder at the top of a multi-layered graphene. After residual powder is removed, the sheet resistance of graphene is decreased from 393 to 340 Ohm/sq in a four-layered graphene. In addition, transmittance slightly increases after residual powder is removed from the top of the multi-layered graphene. Optical and atomic-force microscopy images are used to analyze the graphene surface, and the Ra value is reduced from 5.2 to 3.7 nm following residual powder removal. Therefore, GOST and residual powder removal resolve the limited application of graphene electrodes due to residual powder.

  • Residential heating systems in South Korea are largely based on the use of ondol pipelines. Heat is transferred to the floor by passing hot water through a metal or plastic pipe buried within the concrete of the floor. Consequently, it is difficult to clean the inside of these pipes after installation. Over time, foreign substances such as scale accumulate in the pipe when the ondol heating method is used for an extended period. Therefore, in the past, pipes were cleaned by removing foreign substances attached to the inside surfaces of the pipes using high-pressure water or by disassembling the pipes and removing foreign substances with chemical agents. Recently, a method for removing foreign substances through the cavitation effect of ultrasound has been proposed. This idea might lead to the development of new technologies for cleaning pipe interiors. Consequently, this study investigated the use of ultrasound to clean pipes embedded in concrete. In this study, devices that generated ultrasonic waves with various frequencies and directions were prepared. After preparing arbitrarily contaminated pipes, the appropriate frequency, output strength, and output direction for each foreign substance were determined through repeated experiments. The results of this experiment could provide important information for future methods of cleaning the interior of ondol piping systems.

Effects of Preprocessing on Text Classification in Balanced and Imbalanced Datasets

  • In this study, preprocessings with all combinations were examined in terms of the effects on decreasing word number, shortening the duration of the process and the classification success in balanced and imbalanced datasets which were unbalanced in different ratios. The decreases in the word number and the processing time provided by preprocessings were interrelated. It was seen that more successful classifications were made with Turkish datasets and English datasets were affected more from the situation of whether the dataset is balanced or not. It was found out that the incorrect classifications, which are in the classes having few documents in highly imbalanced datasets, were made by assigning to the class close to the related class in terms of topic in Turkish datasets and to the class which have many documents in English datasets. In terms of average scores, the highest classification was obtained in Turkish datasets as follows: with not applying lowercase, applying stemming and removing stop words, and in English datasets as follows: with applying lowercase and stemming, removing stop words. Applying stemming was the most important preprocessing method which increases the success in Turkish datasets, whereas removing stop words in English datasets. The maximum scores revealed that feature selection, feature size and classifier are more effective than preprocessing in classification success. It was concluded that preprocessing is necessary for text classification because it shortens the processing time and can achieve high classification success, a preprocessing method does not have the same effect in all languages, and different preprocessing methods are more successful for different languages.

치간칫솔 사용에 따른 치면세균막 제거효과에 대한 비례오즈모형(proportional odds models) 적용 (Application of Proportional Odds Models to the Effects of Removing Dental Plaque in Use of Proxabrush)

  • 본 연구는 2007년 3월10일부터 2007년 6월3일까지 충남 당진에 위치한 S대학 치위생과 3학년들의 치면세마 실습환자 248명을 대상으로 치간칫솔 사용에 따른 치면세균막 제거효과를 비례오즈모형(proportional odds models)을 사용하여 분석한 결과 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 1. 비례오즈모형의 적합도는 자유도가 3인 1.2552이고 p값이 .7398로 비례오즈모형이 적절함을 의미하고 치면세균막 제거효과와 치간칫솔 사용의 독립성문제는 $H_0:{\beta}=0$에 대한 검정으로 검정통계량은 자유도가 1인 15.5496이고 p 값은 <.0001 이다. 이는 치면세균막 제거 효과와 치간칫솔의 사용은 매우 연관성이 높음을 의미한다. 2. 모형의$\beta$에 대한 ML추정치는 $\hat{\beta}=1.2493$(ASE = 0.3207)임을 알 수 있고 반응이 매우 불량이다 보다는 매우 양호하다 에 속할(이를 라 표현할 수 있다) 경향은 치간칫솔을 사용하지 않는다. 라는 반응에 비해 치간칫솔을 사 용한다. 라는 경향이 추정오즈비 exp(1.2493) = 3.49배 높다. 3. 비례오즈모형의 추정반응은 치간칫솔을 사용한다. 라는 반응이 매우양호와 양호한 치면세균막 제거효과에 속할 추정(누적)확률은 0.38(0.50)이다.

국 종류에 따른 장류의 분양 결정과 조미료의 첨가효과 (A Study on Determining the Optimal Amounts of Fermented Soybean Foods in Various Korean Soups and the Effect of Condiments in Two Basic Stocks)

  • This sudy was conductted for the purpose of determining the optimal amounts of soy tauce, soy bean paste and hot pepper paste, in 3 different Korean soups and comparing the effect of condiments such as salt, soy sauce, black pepper, and Mono Sodium Glutamate, on the taste of two basic Korean Stocks, The results estimated by Palatability Test were as follows: 1. The average NaCl contents of two kinds of commercial soysauce were 15.9%, 25.6%, respectively. 2. The NaCl contents of 2% sardine stock, and 19% beef stock were 0.16~1.17%, 0.17~0.18% respectively. 3. @ According to Saltiness in sardine stock, there was no difference between the soy sauce-added group and the salt-added group. However, for the removing effect of Off-flavor, and Overall Taste, the soy sauce-group had higher score than salt-added group respectively. (p>.0.1) ⓑ In beef stock, there was no difference between the soysauce-added group and the salt-added group in Saltiness test. The soy sauce-added group had higher score in removing effect of Off-flavor (p>.0.1). On other hand, in Overall Taste, the salt- added group was more effective than the soy sauce-added (p>.0.1). 4 @ According to Saltiness test in beef stock, there was no difference between the black pepper-added and non-added group. However, for the removing effect of Off-flavor and, Overall Taste, the added group had higher score than the non-added group, respectively. (p>.10, p>.0.5) ⓑ Also, according to Saltiness test in beef stock, there was no diffetrence between the MSG-added group and non-added group. However for the removing effect of Off-flavor, and Overall taste, the MSG-added group was more effective than the non-added group. (p>.01) 5. The best recipes of soybean sprouts soup for S persons, in this experiment, were soybean sprouts 180 g, sardine 28 g, soysauce 1/2 T.S., salt 7 g, green onion 15 g, choppedgarlic It. s., against 7 C of water, and total cooking time was 20 minutes. 6. The best recipes of clear-beef soup were beef 200 g, radish 200 g, tangle weed 10 g, sesame oil 1/2 t.s., green onion 15 g, chopped garlic 1 t.s., black Pepper 1/8 1.s., and soy sauce 1 T.S., salt 7 g or soy sauce 2 T S., salt 3.5 g. The total cooking time was minutes. 7, The best recipes of soybean pasted Chinese cabbage soup were Chinese cabbage 300 g, sardine 28 g, green onion 15 g, chopped garlic 1 t.s., and bean paste 50 g, hot pepper paste 13 g, salt 3g or bean paste 65 g, hot pepper paste 16 g, salt 1.5 g. And the total cooking time was 25 minutes. 8. Soy sauce, black pepper, M.S.G., bean paste and hot pepper paste were effective on removing Off-flavor of experimental soups.

한강 하구역에서의 지하수위 변화에 관한 연구(수중보 철거로 인한 영향) (A Study on the Variation of Groundwater Level in the Han River Estuary (The Effect of the Removing of a Weir))

  • 한강 하구역에 존재하는 신곡수중보의 철거 유무에 따른 지하수위 변동을 MODFLOW 모형을 이용하여 분석, 예측하였다. 토양의 비균질성을 반영하기 위하여 유효투수계수를 산정하였으며, 그 값은 지표면과 수평방향의 경우 0.313 m/day, 지표면과 수직 방향의 경우 0.0423 m/day이며, 이방성비는 7.19이다. 수중보 철거로 인한 하천 수위 하강은 지하수위 하강을 초래하며, 새로운 평형에 도달하는 시간은 약 3개월이 소요된다. 또한, 수중보 철거전에는 한강 본류에서 굴포천 쪽으로 지하수 함양이 되지만, 수중보 철거후에는 그 반대의 방향으로 기저유출이 진행된다. 수중보 철거로 인해서 수중보 상류 한강 본류의 영향을 받는 인접 지역에서는 최대 30 cm의 지하수위 감소가 발생한다. 그러나 수중보 하류의 수위를 배수 기점 수위로 하는 굴포천의 영향을 받는 굴포천 인근 지역에서는 약 10 cm의 지하수 하강이 발생한다. 한편, 대상 지역 부근의 단위면적당($km^2$) 지하수 이용량은 $52m^3/day$이며, 이러한 지하수 이용량은 신곡 수중보 철거 전후를 망라하여 최대 1 m의 지하수위 하강을 유발한다. 즉, 수중보의 철거로 인하여 유발되는 지하수위의 변동은 상시의 지하수의 이용량에 의한 지하수위 변동에 미치지 못한다.

조 재배 시 피복비닐 제거시기에 따른 잡초발생과 조의 생육 및 수량 변화 (Change of Weeds Occurrence, Growth and Yield of Foxtail Millet Cultivation by Polyvinyl Chloride Removing Time)

  • 조의 피복비닐의 적정 제거시기를 구명하고자 조 생육특성과 잡초방제에 미치는 효과는 다음과 같다. 표토관리별조의 초장은 파종 후 30일에 피복비닐을 한 관행구가 75.2 cm이었으며, 무처리구가 57.5 cm로 초기생육에서는 피복비닐 처리구가 초기 지온과 수분의 영향으로 양호하였다. 조의 출수기는 피복비닐을 제거한 구가 무처리구보다 2-3일 정도 빨랐다. 표토관리별 토양수분 함량은 파종 후 20일과 30일에 피복비닐을 제거한 구, 그리고 무처리구가 피복비닐을 제거하지 않은 파종 후 40일구와 대조구에 비해 높았다. 표토관리별 잡초발생량은 피복비닐을 파종 후 20일, 30일에 제거한 구에서 각각 86.5%, 84.0% 정도로 방제효과가 있었다. 수량은 파종 후 30일에 피복비닐을 제거한 구가 $355kg\;10a^{-1}$로 가장 높았고, 다음으로 파종 후 20일 순이었으며, 대조구는 도복에 의한 수량 감소로 $275kg\;10a^{-1}$이었다. 조재배 시 피복비닐의 제거시기는 파종 후 30일이 수량이 가장 높은 것으로 보아 가장 적절한 것으로 판단되었다.
