  • The purpose of this work is to introduce the Remote Control System for KSR-III Liquid Rocket Propulsion System. We developed the high reliable Fire control System that needed for long distance control. We carried out a real time remote control and measuring for KSR-III lust Liquid Propulsion Rocket in Korea using TCP/IP Ethernet network method and Fiber-optic communication method. Also HMI operation program developed guarantee confidential control, monitoring and analysis for Fire control operation.

  • This paper proposes a monitoring and remote control system, an essential part of In Vehicle Infotainment (IVI) and Human Vehicle Interface (HVI) to provide safety and convenience to a driver. The system utilizes Bluetooth for a short range communication and utilizes WCDMA for a long range communication to enhance efficiency. In this paper, an integrated controller, which integrates a CAN communication module, a Bluetooth communication module, a WCDMA communication module, is designed to control a car. Also, a remote server for managing data is designed to provide real-time monitoring and remote control for a user via smart devices. Experiment results show that all the proposed remote control, driving log, real-time monitoring, and diagnostics functions are working properly. With the proposed system, a driver can drive safely by monitoring and inspecting a car before driving via smart devices, and control conveniently by controlling a car remotely.

  • This paper describes a remote monitoring and control system using mobile internet environments through TCP/IP. The server program acts as the main interface between the machine system and the internet technology. The client program is to be distributed to the remote users such as PDA who want to monitor the machine status. A server system is designed to send information of the faults and status of application system to the client part. Therefore, The client parts can take measures and control the system remotely according to the error and faults of system. We developed the client- serversystem for remote control of a green house environment.

  • We propose a remote controller for a SCARA typed direct drive manipulator with two degrees-of-freedom(DOF). A remote controller system for SCARA robot of DDA is designed using a 2 DSP (TMS320c31) board and Winsock(Internet program class library supplied by Microsoft). The design objective of the system is to implement real time dynamic control algorithms which have been tested only by simulations so far and remote control regardless of the distance between user and robot. Because this system runs on Win95, we developed a VxD program to communicate with DSP controller.

  • Multi Cultivation Remote-control System(MCRS) for crops through characteristics of multi-safe sensors was realized. It was carried out to investigate into the effect of LED Control with the physiological activity of crops(for examples, sprouts). We have also composed a Combined Automatic Control System possible for the control of temperature and humidity at the same time. And we producted the remote control as using Linux.

  • It is materialized an unmanned vehicle system as a part of Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) which is a fundamental constituent for unmanned vehicle. Remote control system, monitoring system and remote operating system which are consisted of unmanned vehicle system. Network program by TCP/IP socket, and real-time control & operating controlled by servo-motors from a remote place, those are used to verify safety and stability of the unmanned vehicle system in this research. This unmanned vehicle is divided into two major sections which are an unmanned vehicle part and control station part. The server PC is installed on the unmanned vehicle and a client PC is installed at a remote place, which can control the u manned vehicle. In this research work, main theme is that we experimented and tested to check the speed and utilization of the wireless LAN communication.

  • 자율운항선박(MASS : Maritime Autonomous Surface Ships)은, 고도의 자율도를 가지고, 계획된 경로를 따라 자율 운항하지만, 필요시 육상원격제어센터(SRCC : Shore Remote Control Center)에서 선박의 운항에 직접 개입할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 자율운항선박의 운항을 육상에서 모니터링하고 유사시 원격제어하는 역할을 담당할 육상원격제어사(SRCO : Shore Remote Control Officer)의 교육훈련에 필요한 시뮬레이터 시스템의 운용개념과 이를 가능하게 하기 위한 요구기능에 대해 검토하였다. 육상원격제어 시뮬레이터 시스템은, 다수의 자율운항선박의 운항상황을 모니터링하는 Monitoring Station, 유사시 특정 선박의 운항에 직접 원격개입하는 Control Station의 기능을 모의하도록 하였고, 시뮬레이션 종합통제실, 자율운항선박 운항상황 모의 시뮬레이터, 그리고 주변의 유인선 운항을 모의하기 위한 통항선 시뮬레이터 등으로 구성하였다. 기능적으로는, 육상에서 선박을 직접 제어하기 위하여 원격으로 개입하는 ESRC(Emergency Situation for Remote Control) 상황을 정의하여 이러한 상황을 모의할 수 있도록 하였다.

  • A small size and light-weight DSP board is newly designed for a real time multi-distributed control system that overcomes constraints on time and space. There are a variety of protocols for a real-time distributed control system. In this research, we selected CAN for the multi distributed control, which was developed by the BOSCH in the early 1980's. If CAN and Internet are connected together, the system attains the characteristics of a distributed control system and a remote control system simultaneously. To build such a system. The TCP/IP-CAN Gateway which converts a CAN protocol to TCP/IP protocol and vice verse, was designed. Moreover, the system is required to be small and light-weighted for the high mobility and cost effectiveness. The equipment in remote place has a TCP/IP-CAN Gateway on itself to be able to communicate with another systems. The received commands in the remote site are converted from TCP/IP protocol to CAN protocol by the TCP/IP-CAN Gateway in real time. A simulation system consists of a TCP/IP-CAN Gateway in remote place and a command PC to be connected to Ethernet.

  • This paper shows the development of remote control system for manipulators which consists of PHANToM Device as a master, Samsung FARA robot as a slave and TCP/IP based LAN for their Communication. This work includes the motion mapping between the master and the slave, Generation of virtual viscosity force preventing operator s unwilled action and 3D remote control simulators for the stable operation of the remote control system, etc. The remote control implementation has been performed and the results shows that the developed system can allow the operator to effectively control the manipulator.
