Remote 플라즈마에서 위치 및 반응기체에 따른 PMMA의 식각 특성 분석 (Influence of Loading Position and Reaction Gas on Etching Characteristics of PMMA in a Remote Plasma System)

  • 유기고분자에 대한 건식 식각공정으로 remote 플라즈마를 이용하여 유리 표면에 도포된 PMMA의 식각공정에 관한 연구로 플라즈마 출력, 반응가스, 플라즈마 발생원과의 거리에 대한 식각특성을 측정하였다. 플라즈마 발생원으로부터 멀어질수록 플라즈마에 의해 발생된 라디칼 밀도로 인해 PMMA 식각속도가 감소하였다. 플라즈마 내에서 발생된 라디칼에 의해 PMMA가 제거되며, 플라즈마 출력이 증가할수록 PMMA 표면과 반응하는 라디칼 증가로 식각속도는 선형적으로 증가하였다. 식각 기체에서 산소의 양이 증가함에 따라 식각속도 증가와 더불어 식각표면의 거칠기도 증가함을 알 수 있었다.

  • 이 연구에서는 낙도보조항로의 운영실태와 발달과정에 대하여 정리하였다. 낙도보조항로는 14개 사업자가 27개 항로에서 총 30척 선박으로 낙도주민을 위한 안정적인 생활교통편의를 제공하고 있다. 항로별 수송실적을 분석한 결과, 전체적으로 이들 항로를 이용하는 여객 수도 매년 증가하는 추세에 있다. 선박 이용자의 서비스 만족도를 향상시키려고 한다면 운영사업체별로 경영평가제를 도입하는 등 보다 구조적인 변화가 요구된다. 본 연구를 통하여 얻어진 결과들은 낙도보조항로 중장기 발전방향 수립에 기초 자료로 활용하는 데 그 의미가 있다.

Estimation trial for rice production by simulation model with unmanned air vehicle (UAV) in Sendai, Japan

  • We developed a rice simulation model for remote-sensing (SIMRIW-RS, Homma et al., 2007) to evaluate rice production and management on a regional scale. Here, we reports its application trial to estimate rice production in farmers' fields in Sendai, Japan. The remote-sensing data for the application was periodically obtained by multispectral camera (RGB + NIR and RedEdge) attached with unmanned air vehicle (UAV). The airborne images was 8 cm in resolution which was attained by the flight at an altitude of 115 m. The remote-sensing data was relatively corresponded with leaf area index (LAI) of rice and its spatial and temporal variation, although the correspondences had some errors due to locational inaccuracy. Calibration of the simulation model depended on the first two remote-sensing data (obtained around one month after transplanting and panicle initiation) well predicted rice growth evaluated by the third remote-sensing data. The parameters obtained through the calibration may reflect soil fertility, and will be utilized for nutritional management. Although estimation accuracy has still needed to be improved, the rice yield was also well estimated. These results recommended further data accumulation and more accurate locational identification to improve the estimation accuracy.

  • Nowadays, Internet is so popular that we can easily access the remote site to search information and to communicate remote site and users. People who want to make a collaborate working environment can use JAVA, CORBA, and other internet programming tools like a Perl/XML. The mechanist are try to make the environment fur collaboration within design/manufacturing, simulation, remote sensing through TCP/IP And many industries and research institutions are working towards the agile manufacturing. This paper describes an internet-based real-Time remote monitoring system. The system consists of a hardware setup and a software interface. The hardware setup consists of a machine and its data acquisition hardware, while the software interface incorporates the data acquisition software, the server program, and the client program. The server program acts as the main interface between the data acquisition system and the internet technology. The client program is to be distributed to the remote users who want to monitor the machining status. The system has been demonstrated and verified for an industrial High-Speed Machine (HSM) especially measuring cutting force and acoustic emission. To share the signal, we make the WWW server and display its value. The system has been found to be highly efficient, reliable and accurate.

햅틱 제어에 의한 원격작업의 안전성 향상 (Safety Enhancement of Teleoperation using Haptic Control)

  • For safe remote control, information on remote environment has to be delivered to operator realistically, and there have been numerous research efforts on this respect. Among them, haptic technology can significantly enhance safety and overall effectiveness of remote operation by delivering various kinds of information on virtual or real environment to operator. In this study, remote control based on haptic feedback is applied to control of mobile robot moving according to the command from operator avoiding collision with environmental obstacles and maintaining safe distance from them using ultrasonic sensors. Specifically, a remote feedback control structure for mobile robot is proposed. The controller is based on the inner feedback loop that directly utilizes information on distance to obstacles, and the outer feedback loop that the operator directly commands using the haptic device on which the computed reaction force based on the distance information is acting. Effectiveness of the proposed remote control scheme using double feedback loops is verified through a series of experiments on mobile robot.

  • In this paper a remote monitoring and control system using SNMP(Simple Network Management Protocol) for UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) systems is proposed. The local remote system by RS-232 or RS-485 communication code or the wide remote system by modems is used for conventional remote monitoring & control system for UPSs. But recently because of communication cost and long distance the system is changed to remote control systems through internet and information communication network. And serial communication method by RS-232 or RS-485 is used between agent and UPSs. In this study. we designed and developed the system which is able to control UPSs and to monitor errors. statuses and actual values transmitted from UPS through internet.

  • Many researches conducted to investigate the relationship between surface emissivity and surface temperature in the past two decades and pointed out that the emissivity play a key role in applying remote sensing data to retrieve surface temperature. The task of surface temperature estimation is so important in many research fields, such as earth energy budgets, evapotranspiration, drought, global change and heat island effect. Therefore, it is indispensable to develop an effective and accurate technique to estimate the emissivity for accurate surface temperature estimations. This study developed an improved emissivity estimation technique for the use of surface temperature retrievals with MODIS data. The result of applying this improved technique using Band 31 of MODIS shows that the accuracy of estimated surface temperatures will be improved. This study also uses MODIS data observed in 2005 to establish the relationship between the surface emissivity correction factor and NDVI. Through the use of these correction factors, the land surface temperature can be retrieved more accurate with MODIS data.

  • 정보화 시대에 정보에 대한 공유와 함께 네트워크에 연결된 다른 컴퓨터에 대한 다양한 제어 기술이 나타나기 시작했으며 이 중 하나가 원격제어 시스템이다. 그러나 기존 원격제어 시스템은 제한적인 기능에 의해 사용상의 불편한 점이 많았다. 예를 들면 제어를 위한 서버 프로그램이 실행되어야 하므로 이를 위해 컴퓨터 전원이 항상 켜져 있어야 하며 상대방의 원격제어 허락에 의해서만 1대1 원격제어가 가능하다는 것이다. 이러한 기존 원격 시스템의 한정된 제어 기능 문제를 해결하기 위해 본 논문에서는 한 대의 서버 컴퓨터로 여러 클라이언트 컴퓨터를 연동함으로써 1대1이 아닌 다중 클라이언트 컴퓨터에 원격으로 전원 제어가 가능하도록 WOL(Wake On Lan) 기능을 적용한 시스템을 구현하였다.

  • A novel methodology to evaluate remote dismantling equipment for a reactor pressure vessel (RPV) in a decommissioning project is presented in this paper. The remote dismantling equipment, mainly composed of cutting tools and positioning equipment, is absolutely required to cut and handle highly radioactive and large components in nuclear power plants (NPPs); this equipment has a great effect on the overall success of the decommissioning project. Conventional evaluation methods have only focused on cutting technologies or positioning equipment, although remote dismantling equipment cannot achieve its goal without organic interaction between the cutting tools and the positioning equipment. In this paper, the cutting tools and the positioning equipment are evaluated by performance parameters according to their original characteristics, the relationship between the two systems, and common factors. Finally, the remote dismantling equipment used in recent decommissioning projects has been evaluated based on the proposed methodology. The results of this paper are expected to be useful for future decommissioning projects.
