이부골성형으로 전방이동된 하악이부의 골개조성 변화 (REMODELLING CHANGES OF THE CHIN ADVANCED BY GENIOPLASTY)

  • This is to evaluate the postoperative cephalometric changes of the chin advanced by the genioplasty. Thirty-eight patients who underwent advancement genioplasties at Ewha Womans University Mokdong Hospital between January of 2001 and February of 2003. They were followed up for at least 12 months with lateral cephalographs. The remodelling changes of the horizontal linear measurement between the Pogonion and Perpendicular line to FH plane were measured and analysed by Independent sample tests. The chin advancement resulted in $1.3{\pm}0.3mm$ resorption (28.2% of advancement) after 6 months, but in $1.4{\pm}0.2mm$ after 1 year. If the chin was advanced less than 3 mm, remodelling followed by $1.2{\pm}0.2mm$ reduction, but $1.3{\pm}0.3mm$ reduction followed after chin advanced over 4 mm. There were no significant differences in the amount of bone resorption by the gender, number of genial cut-steps and acompanied osteotomies.

  • This study was executed by means of "user participatory design method", as a part of the public facility remodelling project supervised by the Seoul Municipality. This study aimed to complement and improve the methodology through reviewing the whole process of participatory design implementation and examining closely whether the activities, design methods and tools that have been applied at each stage were helpful to reflect the users' demands successfully. Given all of those, it implies; first, it is very meaningful that public facility remodelling project by "user participatory design" leads the ordinary users to have direct opportunity to participate in the public business and to change their perception of the restroom environment in school. Second, it is necessary to integrate the roles of the facilitator and the architect from the beginning stage of the process, which makes it feasible to reflect the users' needs to the final stage. Third, it is required to modify the design tools that enable non-professional participants to understand their tasks and to perform them effectively at the stage of decision making.

  • 공동주택 수익모델의 가치를 형성하는 요소 중 영향도가 큰 물리적 요소는 주택의 평형변화로서 이를 중심으로 리모델링의 대안을 제안한다. 이에 따라 본 연구에서는 공동주택의 가치형성요인과 공간구성기법을 이용한 큰 평형의 세대를 작은 평형의 세대로 분할하는 모델과 작은 평형의 세대를 통합하여 큰 평형의 세대로 변환하는 모델의 수익모델을 설정하여 경제성은 '보통'이상 '양호'한 것으로 나타났으며, 경제성 평가값은 할인율이 증가함에 따라 감소하며 리모델링의 경제성이 우수해지는 것으로 나타남을 알 수 있다.

  • Chromosome condensation and swelling of the donor nucleus have been known as the early morphological indicators of chromatin remodelling after injection of a foreign nucleus into an enucleated recipient cytoplasm. The effects of non-preactivation and electrical preactivation of recipient cytoplasm, prior to fusing a donor nucleus, on the profile of nuclear remodelling in the nuclear transplant rabbit embryos were evaluated. The embryos of 16-cell stage were collected and synchronized to G1 phase of 32-cell stage. The recipient cytoplasms were obtained by removing the first polar body and chromosome mass by non-disruptive microsurgical procedure. The separated G1 phase blastomeres of 32-cell stage were injected into non-preactivated recipient cytoplasms. Otherwise, the enucleated recipient cytoplasms were preactivated by electrical stimulation and the separated G1 phase blastomeres of 32-cell stage were injected. After culture until 20h post-hCG injection, the nuclear transplant oocytes were electrofused by electrical stimulation. The nuclei of nuclear transplant embryos fused into non-preactivated and/or preactivated recipient cytoplasm were stained by Hoechst 33342 at 0, 1.5, 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 hrs post-fusion and were observed under an fluorescence microscopy. Accurate measurements of nuclear diameter were revealed with an ocular micrometer at 200$\times$. Upon blastomere fusion into non-preactivated recipient cytoplasm, a prematurely chromosome condensation at 1.5 hrs post-fusion and nuclear swelling at 8 hrs post-fusion were occurred as 91.6% and 86.1%, respectively. But the nuclei of nuclear transplant embryos fused into preactivated recipient cytoplasm, as o, pp.sed to non-preactivated recipient cytoplasm, were not occurred chromosome condensation and extensive nuclear swelling. Nuclear diameter fused into non-preactivated and preactivated recipient cytoplasm at hrs post-fusion was 30.2$\pm$0.74 and 15.2$\pm$1.32${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$, respectively. These results indicated that onset of unclear condensation and swelling which was associated with oocytes activation were critical steps in the process of chromatin swelling. Futhermore, complete reprogramming seemed only possible after remodelling of the donor nucleus by chromosome condensation and nuclear swelling.

  • In the Korean construction market the housing exceeds more than 60% among the entire objects for remodelling. And among the 50% of the common residence that needs remodelling, half of them are common houses with hallways. In respect of remodelling the common houses with hallways to those with stairways, This investigation aims at not only increasing the area by simply enlarging it, but also elevating the residential value by improving the environment based on the study of the existing plane with stairways. In order to do so, the satisfaction rate after living in common residence either with stairways or with hallways according to size (10, 20, 30 pyong), public space and interior environment is investigated through questionnaire. Therefore, this study tries to discover and analyze the positive and negative aspects of common residence with hallways.

H 유스호스텔 리모델링 계획 (Remodelling Plan for the Youthhostel H)

  • The basic concept for the remodelling of the youthhostel H is to define a rest through the remodelling design. The notion of a rest can be explained better in Chinese character. '休', which means a rest, is the Chinese character that unites two different meanings, the man and the tree or the nature. The intrinsic meaning of a rest,'a man taking a rest under the tree', is applied to the design concept that implies the mutual relationship between the man, the nature and the youthhostel. The design idea for the main areas such as the lobby, the reception, the front, the multi-purposed restaurant and the functionally designed rooms targets the harmony of the aesthetic and the functionality. The diverse space experience which steers the hotel visitors to the reciprocal interrelationship, the exchange of various informations, the comfortable relaxing and the motivation makes it possible to perceive a youthhostel as a space for the various intercourse and the emotional experiences.

  • The elementary schools constructed before 1990's are old fashioned and have limitation in corresponding to 7th education curriculum and social demands. So remodelling of existing elementary schools is increasingly popular to satisfy the new need, but it is true that the decision of remodelling has been made by the authority of the administrative and the most of remodelling results have shown the simple increasing of spaces. So this research is trying to suggest an evaluation index model for judging whether school buildings should be remodelled or not, and what parts should be remodelled in the aspects of architectural planning by extracting 4 space planning elements; function, requirement, activity, arrangement and grading rates on these elements.

공동주택의 환경친화적 리모델링 계획 방법에 관한 연구 (A Study on Green Remodeling Methods of Apartment Houses)

  • This study aims to propose Green Remodelling methods of apartment houses in Korea. Through the literature review and case studies various 'Green' Remodelling elements including environmental friendly technologies were identified and classified. Design strategies and remodeling techniques which could increase energy efficiency, reduce water and resource use, improve air qualify, improve landscape management, and improve maintenance were also investigated. Then, 'Green remodelling' methods of apartment houses are proposed as the des19n methodology of remodeling for sustainable development. The green Remodeling design methods and elements proposed by this study are proved to be simple, easy and flexible ways to enhance the environmental sustainability of the existing building.

  • Different from new or reconstruction of an apartment housing, the structural safety in the remodelling construction can be obtained through the repair and strengthening process based on the safety diagnosis and evaluation of structural performance. In this study, structural performance of existing members such as, reinforced concrete slabs, beams and columns are investigated through experimental tests. The structural members were obtained from the existing apartment housing which will be demolished. Test results showed that most specimens have a sufficient structural capacity except for some special case, for example, specimens with severe cracks or concrete loss due to improper casting. This same severe deteriorated or defective structure members originated from bad concrete casting or careless construction process should be repaired and strengthened before an remodelling construction.

  • 최근 몇 년 사이 공동주택 리모델링을 둘러싼 여건의 변화는 리모델링의 활성화라는 입장에서 볼 때 매우 고무적이라 할 수 있다. 리모델링의 추진에 대한 단지 내 다른 주민들의 반발을 어떻게 조정할 것인가가 주요한 과제로 대두되었고, 리모델링을 위한 재원 조달과 리모델링 이후의 자산가치 변화가 핵심적인 쟁점으로 부각되었다. 특히 많은 언론의 보도에도 불구하고 리모델링에 의한 자산가치 즉 부동산 가격의 상승효과가 뚜렷하게 입증되지 못하고 있으며, 금융기관 역시 리모델링 이후의 자산가치 상승에 대해 상당히 보수적인 평가를 하고 있기 때문에, 입주자들은 리모델링을 위한 재원의 조달에 상당한 어려움을 겪고 있을 뿐만 아니라 리모델링 사업의 성공여부도 확신하지 못하고 있다. 제도개선은 동 단위 리모델링을 보다 효율적이면서도 도시와 단지 전체의 관리 방향과 조화되는 방향으로 추진되어야 하며, 또한 공공지출을 최소화하면서도 리모델링을 실질적으로 지원할 수 있는 제도적 방안이 강구되어야 한다.
