The 6Bone is an environment supporting experimentation with the IPv6 protocols and products implementing it. Several functions of IPv6 remain loosely defined or undefined but the protocols related on IPv6 are being developed continuously. It is clear that ATM(Asynchronous Transfer Mode) technology is playing a important role in the evolution of the Internet as a transmission medium. In this paper, we suggest a design plan for the 6Bone overlayed on the existing ATM network, KOREN(Korea Research and Education Network). The planed 6Bone will become a good testbed to develop new networking technology and new services related on IPv6.

Foreign bodies of the upper aerodigestive tract in the pediatric population are a common occurrence. However, despite significant advances in prevention, first aid and endoscopic technology, they remain a diagnostic and therapeutic challenge. Early diagnosis is the key to successful and uncomplicated management of these accidents. An orderly and systematic approach to these patients including a careful history, physical exam and radiographic studies is detailed in this review.

This study attempts to derive the possibility of literary therapy through addition and subtraction of emotional codons. It is presumed that the remnants of the emotions formed by the addition and subtraction of emotions will remain in the human body and cause chemical reactions. When this research is activated, cluster of emotional codons will be created by a combination of literary emotions. This is expected to accelerate therapeutic action of sentences by encoding certain emotional codons in AI.

Although elbows are commonly used in practice, many questions regarding the optimum arrangement still remain unanswered. The effect due to an elbow lasts for a considerable distance downstream of the elbow and is severe when two elbows are in the system. The goal of this study is to provide an effective guide for the optimum arrangement of elbows and the optimum design of the approach piping system.

To consider current concepts of epilepsy further, the brief review begins with a discussion of what is epilepsy, discribes multifactorial nature of epileptic disorders, and ends with a presentation of current classifications. A combination of the standard antiepielptic drugs(AEDs) may be necessary to treat intractable seizures, but no studies have been done to indicate an optimal combination. The new AEDs provide alternative choices, but questions remain about the optimal timing and manner of administration. AEDs selection must individualized, no drug of choice can be named for all patients.

A system for high-resolution analysis of defective elementary cell (R, G or B) on Flat Panel Display (FPD) is described. Based on multiple acquisitions of low-resolution shifted images of the display, our system doesn't require a high-resolution sensor neither tedious alignment of the display, and will remain up to date even facing an important increase of the display dimensions. Our process, highly automated and thus flexible and robust, is expected to perform a full analysis in less than 60s. It is mainly intended for production tests and display classification by manufacturers.

With the recent advances in information retrieval, cross-media retrieval has been attracting lot of attention, but several issues remain problems such as constructing effective correlations, calculating similarity between different kinds of media objects. To gain better cross-media retrieval performance, it is crucial to mine the semantic correlations among the heterogeneous multimedia data. This paper introduces a new method for cross-media retrieval which uses ontology to organize different media objects. The experiment results show that the proposed method is effective in cross-media retrieval.

This paper proposes a design method of sliding mode observer for SISO linear systems with a disturbance input. We first construct an observer with a constant gain matrix, a feedforward injection map and an external feedforward compensation signal input. Using the second Lyapunov method, we present a sufficient condition for the existence of sliding mode observer. The proposed observer guarantees that the state error trajectories enter a certain region in finite time and remain inside thereafter.

In this paper, we present a model reference sliding mode control for the system with input/output disturbance. The proposed model reference sliding mode control makes always the error remain on the surface in finite time. Therefore the system is insensitive to external disturbance. Simulation results are included to illustrate the effectiveness of proposed scheme.

In this paper, we present a fuzzy moving sliding mode control for two-degrree-of-freedom robotic manipulator. 17he sliding surface parameters are designed by fuzzy inference. The proposed sliding mode control makes the error always remain on the surface from beginning and therefore, the system is insensitive to system uncertaintics and external disturbances. Simulation results show the effectiveness of proposed scheme.
