This paper investigates the determinants of students' success in Vietnam through conducting online interviews and surveys with 2,500 Vietnamese students at eight famous universities in Vietnam. By applying both SPSS 22 and STATA software, the study is to evaluate the impact of four driver factors, which affect GPA, language efficacy, and personal achievement. These factors are psychological perspective, home environmental, student demographic, and school environmental. The research results emphasize a positive effect of psychological and home-environmental determinants, but the negative effect of school environmental factors on the students' success. Besides, the relationship between demographics and student success was tested and indicated that male students have a better language learning ability, but a low level of academic achievement than female students. The results also point out the impact of religious affiliation and ethnicity on personal achievement. Non-religious students are better achievers than those having a religion or those in minority ethnicity. Moreover, accumulated schooling years are negatively associated with students' success. The more working experience students accrued, the higher possibility they are successful. Finally, the finding provides an insight into students' success that might be useful to government authorities and other universities in designing policies for enhancing the quality of education.
Purpose: This study aimed to identify on the factors that influence vitality, by surveying the level of vitality, perceptive health condition, depression, family support, leisure activities, and religious activities of the elderly people using the welfare facilities for the aged. Methods: The subjects were 200 elderly people using welfare facilities for the aged such as senior welfare center or silver hall in Y city. Data was collected from December 1, 2012 to January 31, 2013, using a self-report structured questionnaire. Data was analyzed using the SPSS 20.0 for Windows, and analyses such as frequencies (percentage), means(standard deviation), t-test, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and Multiple Linear Regression, were conducted. Results: The participants exhibited a mean vitality score of $3.36{\pm}0.65$ out of 5. Means for the other measures were as follows: perceptive health condition, $3.32{\pm}0.65$; depression, $3.25{\pm}0.84$; family support, $3.64{\pm}0.64$; leisure activities, $2.97{\pm}0.65$; and religious activities, $3.05{\pm}0.92$ points. These factors explained 73.2% of the total variance. Conclusion: Further research is needed on vitality of the elderly people using care facilities for the aged. Moreover, I suggest that vitality and depression are examined as psychological aspects in the operational elements of elderly care facilities.

This study was conducted to understand the factors influencing meaning in life of middle-aged adult focusing social support, self-esteem, internal religious orientation, hope, spirituality among the variables and to supply interventional way for promotion of meaning in life of middle-aged adult. The study participants randomly selected 196 pieces from data that collected from 20 September to 31 October 2014 for middle-aged adults living in four cities. The data were analyzed by means of the t-test, ANOVA, $Scheff{\acute{e}}$, Pearson's correlation coefficients and stepwise multiple regression. Significant differences were found in the meaning in life grades by importance of religious life (p<.001), perceived economic state (p<.001). Further, there were significant correlations between social support (p<.001), self-esteem (p<.001), intrinsic religious orientation (p<.001), hope (p<.001), spirituality (p<.001) and meaning in life. In multiple regression analysis, hope, importance of religious life and spirituality accounted for 49% of meaning in life.
Gasa was a surplice of Buddhist monk. It was usually worn in the religious ceremony. Gasa was such a religious cloth that was ruled strongly by Buddha's Commandments, and a kind of cloth that was also reflected by historical, cultural, and ideological factors of each nation. Korean Gasa had various features comparing to the Original Gasa or to that of South Asia which is the birthplace of Buddhism. One of them was 天 王 embroideries that we could find upon the regular square base in the four comers of Korean Gasa. These figures symbolized the Four Devas which were believed guarding Buddhist sanctum. These Devas appeared from the era of the Three Kingdoms when Buddhism imported. Buddhism as a alien religion had been developed through conflicting and fusing with Korean traditional religious characteristics into type of 'Faith to Three Treasures' (Buddha, Buddhist Commandments, Buddhist monk). They believed that embroidering 天 王 figures upon the regular square bases in the four corners were able to protect Buddhist monk by the help of Four Devas. We might say this as a kind of Faith to Buddhist monk.
Purpose: The purpose of this research is to study the role of life satisfaction, quality consciousness, and religiosity, which are integrated with the TRA Model to explain the switching intention of Muslim consumers to use Halal Cosmetics and Personal Care (HCPC). The second purpose is to investigate the relationship between variables used in this study to provide recommendations to HCPC producers about Muslim consumer behavior in the market. Research design, data, and methodology: The target population in this study is Muslims who live in Greater Jakarta. Data collection is carried out by the self-administered survey method based on the Purposive sampling technique, and the questionnaire is distributed online. The statistical analysis to test the research hypotheses is the Partial Least Squares - Structural Equation Model (PLS-SEM). Results: Life satisfaction, product quality consciousness, and religious commitment have a significant effect on attitude to switching but do not significantly influence the intention of switching to use HCPC. Conclusions: Life satisfaction, quality consciousness, and religiosity that represent individual factors indirectly affect the intention to switch to use HCPC. Thus, religious commitment influences attitude to switching both directly and indirectly.
Purpose: This is a descriptive research to examine the levels of ADL, self efficacy, and life satisfaction of elderly institution residents, and the relations among the factors. Method: Data were collected through a questionnaire survey of elders aged over 65 at nursing homes in 9 areas throughout the country. Measures were the physical function scale, the general self efficacy scale, and LSI Z. Collected data were analyzed using SAS/PC11.0. Result: First, the mean levels of ADL, self efficacy, and life satisfaction were 2.83 (0.85), 2.79 (0.63), and 1.18 (0.42). Second, the relations among three factors were showed positive correlations. Third, (1) The level of ADL was statistically significantly different according to health condition, religious activity, volunteer activity, and friend meeting. (2) The level of self efficacy was statistically significantly different according to health condition, source of help, religious activity, volunteer activity, friend meeting, and elderly school & senior center. (3) The level of life satisfaction was statistically significantly different according to health condition, source of help, religious activity, volunteer activity, friend meeting, and elderly school & senior center. Conclusion: Conclusively, it is required to enhance ADL and self-efficacy in order to improve elderly institution residents’ life satisfaction.
The purpose of this study was to analyze the different consumption patterns of fashion products according to the demographic characteristics and religious variables of Muslim women in Indonesia. The research method consisted of a questionnaire, which surveyed Muslim women in Indonesia, whose ages ranged from teens to 40s. The final questionnaire made use of 301 responses, and the analysis methods included 𝛘2-testing, factor analysis, and ANOVA. The results of this survey are as follows: For differences in average monthly clothing purchase costs, there were significant differences according to age, monthly income, final education, and whether or not the respondent wore a hijab, but there was also significant difference according to marital status and religious faithfulness. Muslim women's clothing purchasing factors were practicality, visibility, fit-to-wear, and design. In terms of the differences in factors which were considered when purchasing clothing, they depended on whether or not the respondent was married, practicality and visibility according to age, visibility according to final education, and religious faithfulness. There were significant differences in practicality and visibility, but not according to monthly income. When accounting for the differences in the places where Muslim women bought fashion products, there were significant differences according to marital status and age. In terms of the differences in reasons for choosing a place of purchase, there were significant differences according to age, monthly income, final education, and the degree of hijab wearing.

The purpose of this study is a descriptive research study to analyze the factors that affect Christians' COVID-19 preventive behavior. The subjects of the study were 262 adult Christians, and the data collected were using SPSS 25.0 and AMOS 21.0 programs. As a result of the study, the subject's religious maturity level was 4.21 ± .55 points out of 5 points, COVID-19 stress was 2.86 ± .73 points out of 5 points, optimism bias was 2.94 ± 1.26 points out of 7 points, and COVID-19 preventive health behavior was 4 points. The total score was 3. 54 ± . 44 points. As a result of the correlation analysis of the subject's religious maturity, COVID-19 stress, optimistic bias, and COVID-19 preventive health behaviors, COVID-19 preventive health behaviors were faith maturity (r=.156, p=.012), COVID-19 stress (r=.216, There was a positive correlation with optimism bias (r=174, p=.005). In conclusion, it can be said that the higher the religious maturity, the higher the COVID-19 stress, and the higher the optimistic bias, the better the preventive health behavior of COVID-19, and the explanatory power of the overall model was 9.4%. In the post-COVID-19 era, it is necessary to develop educational programs that can prevent infectious diseases and promote health in the community.
The temple Hoeamsa(檜巖寺) was repaired by Naong(懶翁), and with this the power of the temple became far greater to be the greatest Buddhist temple during late Goryeo and early Joseon. Naong's reconstruction of Hoeamsa was originated from Jigong(指空)'s teaching 'Samsan Yangsu(三山兩水)'. But it is not clear whether Samsan Yangsu really meant Hoeamsa. By the way, after 14 years, Naong suddenly remembered this word and began to repair Hoeamsa in a large scale. From this, we can guess that Naong tried to give the contemporary Buddhism some change through the repair of Hoeamsa. But, as King Gongmin(恭愍王) the greatest supporter of Naong was suddenly assassinated, the political situation changed a lot and Naong also died unexpectedly. Naong's death brought out the critical sense to Hoeamsa and, in the process to resolve the crisis, the repair of Hoeamsa began to be justified through diverse religious factors. As these were expanded and developed on and one, Hoeamsa came to be honored as the most divine temple in Korea during the early Joseon dynasty. Furthermore, into the cause structure for the Naong's repair of Hoeamsa, the influence of Jajang was added through Odaesan Buddhism. As we can well understand, late Silla situation of Jajang and the late Goryeo of Naong were very similar and the both Buddhist leaders should have derived out some religious solution for them. In other words, both of them had a similar recognition in finding the religious solution for the contemporary crises. It becomes a way to understand the Hoeamsa repairing structure taken by Naong and his disciples. Therefore, by comparing the similar religious solution structures given by Jajang and Naong and by clearer understanding on Samsan Yangsu spirit, we can see the repair of Hoeamsa and the related aspects more accurately.

The Mevelana sect is a spiritual Islamic group experiencing spiritual transaction with their god through a peculiar dancing as a form of religious ritual. The Mevelana, a sect of Islamic Sufism, has their head mosque in Konya in Turkey. Although Mevelana sect is regarded as heretic of Islam, it has exerted considerable influence on the Islamic religion through its peculiar religious worshiping form constituted in dancing and reciting poems. Nowadays, Turkey recognizes the Mevelana dancing as their precious cultural legacy of a long history, exerting public information efforts to give it for wider publicity of Turkey to the world. The Mevelana dress with ornament attired for the ritual dancing performance is regarded to symbolize a spiritual medium, which leads to conciliation with the eternity. The straight lines and curved line characteristic of the Mevelana dancer's trousers, skirt, jacket and such mirrors the image of the Orientals, which is in peculiar contrast with the white and gray colors of the dress with ornament. The impression of the spiritual Mevelana dressing in harmony with the dynamic dancing motion goes beyond mere a religious dressing. It is expressive of a graceful and sophisticated modern formative art, of which the mystic design gives an inspiration to the modern fashion. After Poiret, Islamic factors have emerged in the modern fashion. For instance, a hat with Arabic fashion lapel, a Fez hat of Turkish style, harem pants and such are still popular in the modern fashion. It seems probable that the Iraq War would far more activate the influence of Arabic culture to the modern fashion. By making an analysis on the religious background and formative characteristics of the Mevelana dressing, and by giving design examples on how the Mevelanan dressing has been applied to the modern fashion, this research suggests working out new designs by making a renewed application of their characteristics to the modern fashion.
