Analysis of optimal activities according to thermal comfort in the forest: focusing on a program for the elderly at the National Forest Therapy Center

  • The purpose of this study was to scientifically activate the forest healing program activities for the elderly. The predicted mean vote (PMV) and predicted percentage of dissatisfied (PPD), which are indices of thermal comfort in the thermal environment, and degree of canopy closure were compared and analyzed. Based on this information, the study objective was to present the appropriate conditions for maintaining the best comfort for the elderly. Six deck road shelters, which are the most active locations in forest healing programs among the National Center for Forest Therapy, were selected as the study sites. The results indicated that in the case of the conditions of 1 clo (clothing insulation value) and 1 met (metabolic rate) at an air temperature of 19 to 21 degrees in September on the measurement date, the PMV values ranged between -1.85 and -0.98 at all sites, and PPD values ranged between 25.60% and 68.68%. On the other hand, in the case of 1.3 clo and 1.6 met conditions, the PMV values ranged between -0.08 and 0.23 for all sites and PPD values ranged between 5.40 and 6.18. As shown above, the difference in thermal environment comfort and satisfaction according to the condition of the amount of metabolism and the amount of clothing could be confirmed. In addition, an analysis of the relation between PPD and canopy closure suggested a significantly positive correlation between them, and it was found that canopy closure was a factor affecting thermal comfort. Studies on effects of forest thermal environmental comfort and canopy closure on forest healing program areas should be conducted extensively according to seasonal conditions to provide information that can be used for more effective forest healing programs.

비육돈사 작업 종사자의 호흡기 관련 공기 중 분진 농도 측정 및 분석 (Measurement and Analysis of Dust Concentration in a Fattening Pig House Considering Respiratory Welfare of Pig Farmers)

  • In swine house, dust generation comes from various sources and is known to be harmful both for the animals and the farmers because the dust contains biological and gaseous matters. When farmers are constantly exposed to the dusts, they can suffer chronic or acute respiratory symptoms and have high probability of manifesting various diseases. To address this problem, understanding of the mechanism of dust generation is very important. In this paper, the dust concentration of inhalable, respirable, TSP and $PM_{10}$ were monitored and analyzed according to the pig-activity level, ventilation quantity and feeding method in fattening pig house. From the measured results, in case of the concentration of TSP, an inverse-linear relation with ventilation rate ($R^2=0.88$) and linear relation with the installation height of feed supply pipe ($R^2=0.73$) were determined. However in case of the concentration of $PM_{10}$, no particular relationship with the variables was observed. Using the concentration of inhalable and respirable dust based on the pig-activity level, multi-variate regression analysis was conducted and results have shown that the movement of pigs can contribute to the dust generation (p<0.05, $R^2=0.71$, 0.61). The relationship determined between dust generation and environmental variables investigated in this study is very significant and useful in conducting dust-reduction researches.

미혼성인남녀의 섹슈얼리티 형성과정에 관한 질적 연구 (A Qualitative Study on the Formative Processes of Premarital Adult Sexuality)

  • The purpose of this research was conducted to formative processes and to interpret premarital adult's sexuality meaning. The interviews have been executed based upon ethnography approach and method of interview in depth within the framework of the Weis's sexual script theory (1998) and parent-children relation. The interview in depth has been conducted with unmarried 7 males and 8 females inclusive of college students, total 15 persons who were born 1974-1980 and living in Seoul and nearby suburban areas. A period of interviews were carried out from September until December 2003. Each interview was executed for 2 to 4 hours apiece, and each person had 2 to 4 interviews during the period. The result of analysis of the sexuality scripts theory from three different views indicates that the female informants appeared to rationalize the fact that traditional concept of the chastity as defined by the socio-cultural level has been changed. It also indicated that there were very few sex educations in the society at large except for the public medias including the Internet. The interrelation level indicates that positive interaction with the opposite sex has affected them in the course of their building up desirable personal relationship in the society and uplifting their sense of self-esteem. The internal level of sexuality, it is much dependent on the extent of individual inner recognition of sexuality. The parent-children relation view of sexuality, the most influential factor for their communication on sexuality lies in the extent of their realization on how positively their parents recognize their children.

희망과 자기주도학습과의 관계에서 성장 마인드셋과 그릿의 역할 (The roles of growth mindset and grit in relation to hope and self-directed learning)

  • 최근 지식 기반사회의 도래에 따라 직장인들에게도 끊임없는 자기 학습이 필요하다. 특히 희망이 강한 사람은 자기주도학습이 강한 것으로 나타났는데 그 사이에서 심리적인 특성이나 신념인 성장 마인드셋과 Grit이 매개역할을 할 것으로 판단된다. 이에 본 연구는 직장인들의 희망과 자기주도학습 사이에서 성장 마인드셋과 그릿의 매개효과를 파악하는데 연구의 목적을 두었다. 연구대상은 서울, 대전, 충남, 충북 지역에 위치하는 총 32개의 직장에서 선정하였고 총 368명이었다. 자료 분석은 빈도분석, 상관분석 및 구조방정식 모형 분석을 실시하여 수행하였고 주된 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 상관분석 결과 희망과 성장 마인드셋, 그릿, 자기주도학습의 모든 하위 요인에서 유의한 정적인 상관관계가 있었다. 둘째, 경로분석 결과 희망은 자기주도학습에 직접적인 영향을 미치고 있었다. 셋째, 희망은 성장 마인드셋과 그릿을 매개로 하여 간접적인 영향을 미치고 있었다. 끝으로 본 연구의 제한과 직장인들의 자기주도학습을 높이기 위하여 희망, 성장 마인드셋, Grit을 촉진시키기 위한 정책적 함의를 하였다.

학교폭력 피해 경험이 우울에 미치는 영향에서 학생과 부모, 학생과 교사 관계의 매개효과: 초·중학생 차이를 중심으로 (The mediative effect of student-parent, student-teacher relationship on the effect of experience of school violence on depression: Difference between elementary and middle school students)

  • 본 연구는 학교폭력 피해 경험이 우울에 미치는 경로에서 학생이 부모나 교사와 맺은 관계가 이를 매개하는지를 구조적으로 검증하는 것과 동시에 초등학생과 중학생 간의 경로 차이를 발견하는 것이 목적이다. 이를 위해서 한국아동청소년종합실태조사에서 수집한 12세~18세의 청소년 자료 중 1,385명에 해당하는 초등학생과 중학생의 자료를 활용하였고, 구조방정식의 다집단 분석 방법으로 자료를 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 학교폭력 피해 경험이 우울에 미치는 영향에 대해서 초등학생이 부모나 교사와 맺은 관계가 매개역할을 하지 못하였지만, 중학생이 부모나 교사와 맺은 관계는 부정적인 매개역할을 수행하는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 부모나 교사는 학교폭력 피해로 인해서 초등학생이 겪는 우울에 대해서 부모나 교사는 특별한 역할을 하지 않았지만, 중학생에게는 학교폭력 피해로 인해서 우울을 더 많이 겪게 하는 요인이 된다는 것이다. 이러한 결과를 기반으로 초등학생과 중학생의 학교폭력 피해와 이로 인해서 겪는 우울을 최소화하기 위해서 필요한 실제적인 역할을 제시하였다.

임금근로 장애인의 장애수용이 직무만족도에 미치는 영향 - 고용형태의 조절효과와 대인관계의 매개효과 - (Effects of Disability Acceptance of Wage Workers with Disability on Job Satisfaction - Moderated Effect of Employment Type and Mediated Effect of Inter Personal Skill)

  • 본 연구는 임금 근로 장애인의 장애수용이 직무만족도에 미치는 영향에서 고용형태의 조절 효과와 대인관계의 매개 효과를 규명하는 것이다. 이를 위해 장애인고용패널조사 2차 웨이브 1차~4차(2016-2019)의 자료를 사용하여 변인들 간의 영향력 분석은 AMOS 22.0을 활용하여 경로분석한 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 임금 근로 장애인의 직무만족도는 학력, 연령대, 근무 기간에서 유의한 차이가 나타났다, 그러나, 성별에서는 유의한 차이가 나타나지 않았다. 둘째, 임금 근로 장애인의 장애수용이 직무만족도에 정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 임금 근로 장애인의 장애수용과 직무만족도 관계에서 대인관계는 정적인 매개 효과가 유의하게 나타났다. 넷째, 임금 근로 장애인의 장애수용과 직무만족도 관계에서 고용형태는 부적인 조절 효과가 유의하게 나타났다. 이런 결과에 근거하여 임금 근로 장애인의 직무만족도를 증진을 위한 장애수용, 대인관계, 고용형태에 대한 실천방안을 제시하였다.

임상간호사의 직무만족정도와 조직몰입에 관한 연구 (A Study on Job Satisfaction Degree and Organizational Commitment of the Clinical Nurses)

  • This study was aimed to be able to dedicate to the quality promotion of nursing of the nurses and the development of hospital organization by investigating interrelations between job satisfaction degree and organizational commitment of the clinical nurses. The objects of this study have been 507 nurses working in university hospital in Seoul and the materials have been collected through structured questionnaires for 14 days from Feb. 23. 1998 through March 8. The materials have been analyzed and computerized statistically with SPSS. General characteristics have been analyzed by practical number and percentage. and job satisfaction degree and organizational commitment have been analyzed by average evaluation marks and standard deviation and the relation between general characteristics and job satisfaction degree and the relation between general characteristics and organizational commitment have been analyzed by t-test or F-test(ANOVA) according to the characteristics of variable. Correlations between job satisfaction degree and organizational commitment have been analyzed by Pearson's Correlation Coefficient. The followings are the summaries of the results of the study: 1. The degree of job satisfaction of the object was 3.26 in average on the basic of 5 marks and worth area showed highest by 3.78 while wage and welfare 2.70 the lowest when analyzed 11 areas. 2. Organizational commitment of the object showed 3.24 in average on the basic of 5 marks. 3. According to the age. marital status. educational background. employment experience. experience in current department. position. types of work. department of work. wage, satisfaction about the current department, whether they wish to be transferred to the other department and whether they are transferred or not. there were significant differences in the characters of job satisfaction degree when general characteristics and job satisfaction degree have been examined. 4. According to the age. marital status. religion. educational background. employment history. position and experience in current department. types of work. department of work. wage. satisfaction about the department they are assigned. whether they wish to be transferred. Whether they are transferred or not and number of being transferred to the other department. there have been significant differences in the characters of organizational commitment when general characteristics and organizational commitment have been examined relatively. 5. Correlations between the degree of job satisfaction and organizational commitment has shown the degree of organizational commitment higher respectively when the degree of job satisfaction was higher. the degree of sanitation factor was higher and the degree of motive factor was higher (r=.73799. r=.6826. r=.6570). 6. The result of the analysis of correlations between organizational commitment and the turnover intension and job related action has shown comparatively high reverse correlations (r=.6375) between organizational commitment and turnover intension and low reverse correlations(r=.3253) between organizational commitment and job related action. Based on the above results. the study of the ways of increasing the degree of satisfaction about wage. welfare. position and stability and the supervision of the senior which showed the low degree of job satisfaction should be conducted and through the management of the degree of job satisfaction which affects to the organizational commitment, I would like to propose that the ways of increasing the sense of commitment to the hospital organization of the nurses should be studied.

ABCX모델에 근거한 다문화가족의 디스트레스(Distress) 연구 (In Study on Investigate the Distress in Multi-Cultural Families with Hill's ABCX Model)

  • This study aims to investigate the process of family distress to family crisis in multi-cultural families based on Hill's ABCX model. For this study, the qualitative study with depth interview was conducted with 8 multi-cultural families(e.g. husband, wife, child and elderly parent). The depth interview contents were marriage process, family relation or family interactions, social adaptation process, and social services needs. Results showed the followings: First, multi-cultural families had multiple distressors so that these distressors made multi-cultural families vulnerable to family crisis. Second, Hill's ABCX model explained the process of family distress to family crisis in the multi-cultural families in that they had few resources(both individual resources and family resources) and even worse they had negative cognitions about their own multi-cultural family systems. This situation made them difficult to solve their problems and to cope with their distressors. Third, major distressors in multi-cultural families were founded in this study. These were different cultural gap, communication difficulties, social discrimination to multi-cultural families, and lack of social support networks. Discussion will address suggestions about effective family policies for multi-cultural families in order to make them resilient to family crisis and help to well-adjusted in the korean society.

지방정부의 여성인력 활용정책 (Local Governments' Policy on the Utilization of Women's Resources)

  • 지식기반사회에서 여성인력의 활용은 국가경쟁력 성패의 관건이라는 점에서 중요한 의미를 갖는다. 여성들이 모든 분야에서 자신의 능력을 발휘할 수 있는 공간과 여건이 마련되어야 할 것이다. 남녀평등 실현을 목표로 하는 여성인력의 정책적 과제는 종전과 같이 사회복지정책의 과제로만 한정되어서는 안 되며, 정치 경제 사회 문화와의 관련 속에서 심도 있게 다루어져야 한다. 지방에서의 여성정책은 그 지방의 특수성과 여성의 현실을 반영하지 못하고 있으며 여성정책에 대한 개념 자체도 지역여성에게 전달되지 못하고 있는 실정이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 지방여성정책이 주변화를 벗어나 정책의 주류가 되기 위한 측면에서 여성인력활용을 중심으로 방향성에 대해 개진하고 있다.

취업모의 양육 스트레스에 영향을 미치는 생태학적 변인 탐색 (An Ecological Approach to Analyzing Variables in the Parenting Stress of the Working Mothers)

  • The objective of this research is to investigate the relation between the parenting stress, recognized by the working mothers, and associated variables systematically. For the purpose, I analyzed the demographic of the working mothers and surrounding variables at the levels of microsystem, mesosystem, and macrosystems, to relate with respect to the parenting stress problem. The research composes the sample space of working mothers having children less than 6 years old. The data were analyzed by the statistical method based on frequency, percentile, Pearson's correlation, hierachical and multiple regression. The main results of the research can be summarized as follows: According to the independent effects of diverse ecological systematic variables, there are shown that 11 independent variables can describe about 55.6% of the parenting stress of the working mothers. Among these variables, 'satisfaction about the child care' is the most significant factor, which covers about 34.5%. Additionally, the next significances are observed from such variables as 'temperament of children' (8.2%), 'satisfaction of marriage' (5.1%), 'support of spouse' (1.5%), 'level of education' (1.9%) and so on. In conclusion, it is strongly recommended to compensate and restructure the child care systems more systematically, to afford more reliable parenting environment to the dual earner mothers and fathers and children simultaneously.
