눙형 유도 전동기의 전 디지털화된 PWM 발생 및 벡테제어 (Fully Digitalized PWM and Vector Control of the Squirrel-Cage Induction Motor)

  • Full direct digital control of induction motor driver is implemented with a minimal hardware structure. This paper deals with the presentation of a low-cost single-chip microprocessor-based control system for three-phase PWM generation and vector control that control speed of the induction motor using the field-oriented control method. Rotor flux is estimated using the indirect sensing method based on the rotor circuit equation in the synchronously rotation reference frame, and slip angle and rotor position are calculated from rotor angular velocity and stator current. Through simulation and experiment, it is shown that the proposed scheme gives good static and dynamic performance to the induction motor drive.

  • This paper presents a new voltage down converter(VDC) for low power, high speed DRAM. This VDC Consists of RVG(Reference Voltage Generator) and Driver Circuit. And it is independent of temperature variation, and Supply Voltage. Using weak inversion region, this RVG dissipates low power. Internal Voltage Source of this VDC is stable in spite of high speed operation of memory array. This circuit is designed with a $0.65\mu\textrm{m}$ nwell CMOS technology. In HSPICE simulation results, Temperature dependency of this RVG is $20\muV/^{\circ}C,$ supply voltage dependency is $\pm0.17%,$ $VCC=3.3V\pm0.3V,$ and current dissipation is $5.22\muA.$ Internal voltage source bouncing of this VDC is smaller than conventional VDC.

  • The MATRA-LMR code has been developed based on a subchannel analysis method for LMR (Liquid Metal Reactor) core subassembly thermal hydraulic design and analysis. The code was improved to allow a seven assembly calculation and can account for inter-assembly heat transfer based on a lumped parameter model. This paper describes the main modifications and improvements of the code and shows reference calculation results which compared single assembly calculation with seven assembly calculation cased for driver and blanket subassemblies of the KALIMER 150 MWe breakeven conceptual design core. KAL- IMER is a pool-type sodium cooled reactor with a thermal output of 392.0 MWth, which have inherently safe, environmentally friendly, proliferation-resistant and economically viable reactor concepts.

  • We used a three-dimensional motion capture method to measure the grasping reach of Korean. This method was applied well to the grasping reach measurement with low measurement error and high efficiency. We measured the grasping reach of 29 males and 21 females at the different height from seat reference level; -10, 0, 30, 60, and 90cm. The grasping reach data were summarized at each 15 .deg. in polar corrdinates to compare with the former researches. If the number of subjects increases in the supplement research, the grasping reach data will be used in the ergonomic design of the driver's cabin or workstations in industry.

  • Two yaw motion control systems that improve a vehicle lateral stability are proposed in this study: a rear wheel steering yaw motion controller (SESP) and an enhanced rear wheel steering yaw motion controller (ESESP). A SESP controls the rear wheels, while an ESESP steers the rear wheels and front outer wheel to allow the yaw rate to track the reference yaw rate. A 15 degree-of-freedom vehicle model, simplified steering system model, and driver model are used to evaluate the proposed SESP and ESESP. A robust anti-lock braking system (ABS) controller is also designed and developed. The performance of the SESP and ESESP are evaluated under various road conditions and driving inputs. They reduce the slip angle when braking and steering inputs are applied simultaneously, thereby increasing the controllability and stability of the vehicle on slippery roads.

Current Sharing Control Strategy for IGBTs Connected in Parallel

  • This work focuses on current sharing between punch-through insulated gate bipolar transistors (IGBTs) connected in parallel and evaluates the mechanisms that allow overall current balancing. Two different control strategies are presented. These strategies are based on the modification of transistor gate-emitter control voltage VGE by using an active gate driver circuit. The first strategy relies on the calculation of the average value of the current flowing through all parallel-connected IGBTs. The second strategy is proposed by the authors on the basis of a current cross reference control scheme. Finally, the simulation and experimental results of the application of the two current sharing control algorithms are presented.

조향휠 진동의 안락성 평가를 위한 주파수 가중치 곡선 결정 (Determination of the Frequency Weighting Curves for the Estimation of Discomfort by the Steering Wheel Vibration)

  • This study aims to derive frequency weighting curves for the estimation of driver's discomfort by steering wheel vibration in the vertical and rotational direction with respect to a steering column. Subjective tests for the determination of equal sensation curves, inverse of frequency weighting curves, for the two kinds of vibrations were performed using the sinusoidal signals with reference amplitudes from 0.2m/s$^2$ to 0.4 m/s$^2$ in the frequency range from 5㎐ to 100㎐. Twelve subjects joined at the tests, and median values of the twelve judgments were used to determine the frequency weighting curves. Second experiment was followed to determine relative magnitude between the two frequency weighting curves by direct comparison of discomfort due to the two kinds of vibrations at 50㎐, which showed discomfort by the rotational vibration was 1.5 times of that by the vertical vibration.

  • This paper describes design method of control system with a pre-compensator using a neural network to compensate a error signal between a reference' signal and system response. The neural network which is used here is the mixed structure and it's algorithm is a back propagation that modify coupling coefficients. Applying this method to the position control system using DC servo motor as a driver, we verify the usefulness of this method with simulation.

  • The Grand-Touring is a game motion simulator that simulates the race-car driving motion with three hydraulic cylinders which connect the platform and base in parallel. Its motion control system consists of the PC-based main controller and micro-controller based sub-controller. The former one process the dynamic image of race-car in response to the driver's action and computes the reference command for each cylinder and the latter one is designed for the tracking control of hydraulic cylinder and interfacing the auxiliary signals between various sensors/actuator and main controller. In this research, we developed the sub-controller that implements the required functions of Grand-Touring and prove the overall performance with experiments.

  • In this paper, a backstepping speed controller applied in SRM is presented. The driver of SRM is generally planned with a PI controller. A PI controller is becomes a satisfied structure in the system. it is used in position and speed control loops. However, when the system parameter uncertainties large inertia and load disturbance, it will not be able to expect a satisfied efficiency. Therefore, a backstepping control law was researched, which is able application even to a linear system as well as a nonlinear and it is more excellent than a origin adaptive control law. In this paper, a backstepping control law applied the drive system of SRM was used in the drive controller. The computer simulation result clearly show that the applied backstepping controller can track the speed reference signal generated by internal signals.
